We had Kevin and his excellent team of workers remodel our upstairs bathroom to make it more luxurious and handicapped accessible for the future and they exceeded our expectations by far. We also had them do new shingle style siding on the outside and several other improvements. The workmanship was top notch and Kevin and the employees were very easy to work with and had some good suggestions along the way. While our project was going on we had Kevin redo our nephews roof which turned out great. His workers are craftsman not laborers which is hard to find in today's world. You pay a little more for top quality workmanship but it was worth it.

Three years ago I published the review below. In the years since, thanks to the remodel Kevin did, I wanted to say how much we have grown to love our home. We have been so satisfied that we have called on Kevin and his terrific team for other projects, including an outdoor porch that Kevin built for us last year. Again, the same attention to quality and detail gave us a porch that we still ask ourselves why we waited two years to have it built! I cannot recommend Kevin and his team enough. Whatever project he takes on will be the best job you could get. Three Years Ago Working with Kevin and his crew from Taylor Made, to remodel my 1959 home, was a wonderful experience. The first thing I noticed about Kevin, and the reason I selected Taylor Made, was his ability to see and hear the vision I had for the remodel. In addition to that, he continually offered suggestions that would help make my vision a reality. Kevin continually kept me up to date on the remodel's progress and always had quick and thorough answers to my questions, extremely valuable qualities for this project, since the remodel was done long distance. When I had the opportunity to stop by and see the remodel in its early stages, I was extremely impressed by the quality of the work. It was easy to tell by the initial demo and framing that the work was top notch, with excellent craftsmanship. When I had to leave, I knew my remodel was in excellent hands, and that proved to be the case throughout the project. There were several pieces of this project that might have been challenging, but in every case Kevin was able to make my vision a reality. By the time the remodel was done, I could truthfully say that Kevin and his crew had made my entire vision a reality. I was thrilled with my new home and knew that the job was well done and to the highest standards. Thank you Kevin and crew!!

We had a leaking shower and were told we needed a complete remodel, but Kevin found a bad part and replaced it. Problem solved, saved thousands. We will definitely be calling them back and recommending them for sure!!!!

This is the second project I hired Kevin and his team for. This first was a total kitchen renovation + addition to our 100+ year-old home. This time, they completely updated our primary bath and walk-in closet. The finished product is a 10. He and our designer worked as a team, making cost-saving decisions along the way. His team was curious (thanks, Ronnie). His subcontractors were high quality.  We're very happy with the finished product!

Taylor Made was recommended by my good friend and neighbor, Mary, who had hired them to remodel her bathroom years ago. When I called Kevin, I knew I was in good hands. His design ideas were more creative and detailed than those of other remodelers, so I chose them to renovate my primary bathroom as well. Among other things, he suggested a better spot for the handheld shower, a shelving area for leg shaving, and a pull-down shelf in the vanity cabinet. I was able to select all my bathroom items at the Ferguson showroom in Timonium, which made the process convenient and efficient. The crew was always pleasant and cheerful, and one of my neighbors even commented on how respectful they were—something that means a lot to a condominium owner. Unfortunately, the plastic laid down to protect my bedroom carpet left a sticky film that couldn’t be professionally cleaned. When I informed Kevin, he immediately offered to replace the entire rug- which they did. I’m grateful to have chosen a company that not only did outstanding work but also stood by its workmanship. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who wants a reputable company.

I've written a fair amount of reviews on Angi about Taylor Made so when I was asked to write another one, I happily agreed. We've been using them for home projects for years. This time we only needed a new vanity, mirror, and light in our bathroom. Even though it was a smaller project, they were happy to see an old customer again. I had already chosen the items so I just needed them to install the new items and take away the old items. Ron was friendly and polite as were all the men they have sent to me through the years. I will certainly call them again when it's time to do my next project.

They did an exceptional job on our project. They were extremely helpful in the planning of our project, which was challenging because of the historical nature of our building. They gave us daily updates, and consulted with us frequently to make sure they were doing everything that we needed. The finished product was everything that we had hoped for.

Kevin and his team did a high-quality job with consistent communications and involvement from us in ongoing decisions. Tim and Doug were meticulous with expertise in the multiple areas of our project involved in renovating a suite in our basement.

You know you hired the right company when the project is completed and looks like it was always there. i couldn’t be happier with my fireplace. Tim and Doug’s workmanship was impeccable. They went above and beyond. i highly recommend this company. Everything from first meeting with Kevin for the estimate to last day on the job for Tim and Doug was perfect. It was nice to have a company do what they say they are going to do show up when they say they are going to show up and everything in between to make sure that we were happy. This will be the only company we use on any other project. No need to shop around we definitely found the right company

Our bathroom remodeling with Taylor Made Custom Contracting went very smoothly. They were very organized, professional and respectful of the space they were working in. One of the reasons I selected Taylor Made Custom Contracting was because of their warranty on their work. Two years after the completion of my bathroom, a drawer was not opening properly. Within 2 days, Doug was at my house to fix the drawer. Not only did he fix the drawer, but he spent a full day fixing nail pops from the settling of the initial job, and painting it to make the bathroom great again!

I contacted Taylor Made Custom Contracting Inc after an extremely bad storm which damaged the siding on my house. Kevin and Suzanne responded immediately to my request to have someone inspect my house and perform the repairs as soon as possible. At first I was very stressed out since my family and I were away on vacation and did not know the extent of the repairs required. The next day the repairs were completed (less than 24 hours) and I came home to find everything in tact ! I have used Taylor Made Custom Contracting Inc in the past for a kitchen remodeling and would highly recommend them for any home improvements, repairs or upgrades! I would give them a 10 if the rating would go that high.

GREAT! We had major redesign and renovation work done by TMCC in early 2015, including two complete bathrooms. We love everything they did and have been enjoying the results ever since. Recently we had two minor problems, one of which I caused myself when trying to change a burned out recessed light bulb in the shower ceiling. I emailed Kevin for a recommendation on who to call for help, and got a very prompt response that he would send someone out to take care of it. That man came in less than two days and resolved both problems very effectively and to our great satisfaction. Furthermore, we weren’t even charged; bothKevin and his colleague said “we stand behind our work.” Considering the original work was done nearly 8 years ago and I caused one of the problems myself, this was great service and way beyond expectations. It just further confirmed that our original decision to hire TMCC was the right choice. We highly recommend them.

I am delighted with the outcome. TM removed the wall between my kitchen and dining room to allow for more light. New white cabinets and gray granite countertops were installed. They put white subway tile for the backsplash, a new fan, and LVP flooring. I would highly recommend them.

Service was excellent, detailed, and professional. While we were out of town, they sent us videos of the progress, and the overall communication was great, very responsive. They even watered our plants and moved some furniture back without us asking. They asked for our feedback before making a decision on the trim, and the carpenters were always pleasant, friendly, and honest. The final bill was exactly as quoted plus an approved increase to handle some unexpected rot they showed us. Work included Andersen windows, slider, exterior water proofing, some carpentry, drywall and interior/exterior trim. Highly recommend for any remodeling or other custom work!

It was time for new windows since the ones we had were original to the house. I called Kevin from Taylor Made because we've used them in the past. The project went very smoothly. The crew came on time, cleaned up every day, and worked efficiently. They were pleasant and caring toward the house and my puppy. If you need new windows, I would recommend Taylor Made.

Over three years ago I fortunate to find Taylor Made Custom Contracting to work with on the remodel of my newly purchased 1959 house in Bel Air. Kevin was a joy to work with and totally got the remodel I was trying to do, which was easier said than done. Some of the features I wanted were nontraditional to say the least, and on top of that I had not actually moved into the house yet. Kevin had the additional pressure of working with me long distance! With all of that on the table, the construction job could not have gone more smoothly, thanks to Kevin's flexibility and the skills of the crew, and lots of texts, emails, calls, and photo tours. I did manage to make a couple of trips to visit while the house was under construction, so I was able to see the process from the framework up to the finish. The first thing I noticed was the complete care that the team took with each phase of the remodel, and the beauty of the finished product. In the end, the finished remodel far exceeded my original vision and three years later I am still in love with my new home. I was so satisfied that I have called on Kevin several times, since the original remodel, for other projects. Last year, Kevin and his team completed a beautiful backyard porch for us, that we still ask ourselves how we did without. Bottom line, I would highly recommend Taylor Made, Kevin, and his entire team. A pleasure to work with and a well made, beautiful finish to any work you may want done in your home or build. This is a fantastic company. The are professional and friendly. The work was completed in a timely manner (they finished ahead of schedule) and appears to be a very high quality job. I would (and will) hire them again!

Taylor Made repaired my fire place without the need to install an insert. The solution Mr. Taylor came up with was not only Brilliant but saved me a lot of money. Great job and great solution to a potentially dangerous problem. The fire place is now better than new .

I had years worth of windows leaking into the walls that needed to be repaired. They did a very thorough job, not only fixing the damage but making sure that the new windows were installed correctly to keep it from happening again. My request to them was that the job be done right and they delivered 100%. The finish work inside looks great and the care they took outside was top notch as well. The workers were friendly and polite and made a really good effort to make sure they cleaned up every day before leaving. On a logistics note, they were great at responding to communication and letting me know what to expect and when.

I've known Kevin for years since he has helped me renovate rooms in both my homes. When we needed to replace the flooring in my basement, I knew who to call. Taylor Made installed a new waterproof luxury vinyl plank flooring so that I don't have to worry about the durability of my floor if we have family over to visit. The whole process went smoothly since I was provided samples and a detailed explanation of the product. The installers were polite, as always, and everything was completed within a few hours. I plan to work with Taylor Made again when I ready for my next project.
