<p>They did a fantastic job and were very thorough in their work ethic.  Matthew and his team are very professional, courteous and take pride in their work, which is sometimes hard to find.  This is the second project they have completed at my home.  I just cant say enough about what they do to make you happy and go the extra mile, even on things that need attention and are not even in the quote when asked to take care of.  They simply just do the little extras without judgment.  I would highly recommend them for any project at the present time.  </p> <p>Regarding the previous review, I had no problems on Matthew getting back to me on the revised initial quote in a timely manner.  He was very prompt and adjusted all areas as requested to meet my budget.</p> <p></p>

<p>Mathew and his crew did an awesome job in replacing the rotted Vertical board that ran along my roof and front porch as well as replacing my rotted columns as well.  Mathew and his crew arrived on time every day and also asked if they could also arrive earlier than what I had stated as they want to put in as much time as needed to complete the work in a timely and efficient manner.  </p> <p>Regarding the work, they made precision cuts every time and applied silicone or some type of putty over any holes where they used nails to fasten the Hardy Board to the house.  They also replaced four vertical columns for my porch and did a magnificent job.  They were installed perfectly with no issues at all.  They had put silicone in the flutes where they ran into the base and painted accordingly with the upmost care.  I had them take care of some protruding wood knots from some 1x10’s that kept surrounded my porch that were coming through the paint.  They applied 4 coats of Kilz to fix that and then painted all the vertical board and columns accordingly.  I had another contractor that gave up on that issue and told me that I had to deal with it as there was nothing he could do.  Mathew and his team made it happen.  </p> <p>I am now requesting another quote for additional work to be done inside regarding a Folding door closet that will hide our washer and dryer as well as some sheet rock work that is needed in one of our bedrooms.</p> <p>To comment on a previous customers review where she had given a TCB construction a very bad commentary and grade amazes my wife and I.  The both of us cannot believe the level of professionalism and high quality of work that was done at our home.  We plan to use Mathew and his crew for the future projects of our home.</p> <p>Sincerely,</p> <p>Steve </p> <br />

My husband and I had such a good experience with TCB/Matt the first time that we used them again.  They communicated well, showed up on time.  Matt takes the time to talk with me, my husband & his crew so we were all on the same page the whole project.  Matt & his crew are very trustworthy & honest.  If he doesn't have to spend extra money then he doesn't.  This is the second time we have used him and both times he has come in under his estimate.  This time it is was only $20 under but every little bit helps.  We will continue to use them as needed in the future.

He was supposed to locate and replace all rotted wood and replace with new so the home was ready for painting.   He missed about 50%  of the rot and the painting had to be delayed while we found another handyman/carpenter. He was supposed to counter sink nails on two large decks so that they could be re-stained.  He did not do that <br /> He used way too much pressure when he power washed the roof and removed half of surface of the shingles according to a reputable roofing company that installed the roof 10 years ago. We did get a 2nd roofing contractor to give a 2nd opinion and his was the same as the first one. <br /> So much power was used that there was tons of grit from the shingles on the deck on the <strong> BACK of the house on the deck</strong>, the south side.  He decreased the life of the 30 year shingles on the north side of the house by more than half.  So much pressure was used he actually left pits in the shingles.  He did no clean up after either jobs. <br /> <strong>Lesson learned</strong>, while he was insured we did not get a copy of his insurance so we have to take the loss. <br />

Matt Moose is very professional & hard working contractor.  When I called him for the initial estimate, he came out that same day.  He emailed me the estimate & came back to talk with us again before the work started since we changed our minds about a few things.  Matt is very down to earth & he takes very detailed notes & measurements while walking through the house for estimates.  We also liked that Matt was little younger than many of the contractors I talked to but he definitely knows what he is doing.  Matt's employees are also very nice & professional.  I felt safe with any of them in our house, especially since we were not there most of the time they were.  Matt even offered to take out my dogs if I needed him to do that while they were there.  Matt & his team took great care in doing things correctly the first time, nothing was halfway done - it was all done correctly.  Their prices were very fair.  The job was completed in 3 days which is what we expected.  We are so pleased that once we get things back in order from this job then we are planning on having him back out to complete some more work. <br />
