James and his crew did a great job painting our newly purchased condo. They were careful with all of our furniture and floors, and we are very happy with the results. We did have some sticker shock about the price, but we hadn’t had painting done in this area, and we can see that it is competitive. We wanted a professional job and they delivered. The only issue we had was with record keeping; we had the job done in two phases several months apart, and we had to find our own records of what payments had been made to ensure we paid the correct amount. However once we had done that, James concurred with our paper trail and everything was settled appropriately. Our one suggestion would be for James to hire a part time office manager to help with the orders. Otherwise everything was perfect!

We hired James to paint our condo from top to bottom. I did my research, got over 5 quotes and hired the best. All his reviews were stellar and now I know why. He wasn’t the cheapest but if you want it done right, he’s the guy to hire. He's worth every dollar! I found out he is the person who is hired to paint historical buildings because of his expertise! His attention to detail is beyond any other professional painter I've hired in the past. When we moved in, every wall was painted the same muddy rose beige. I had eight different paint colours and the transition from one wall to the next is crisp and clean. Before he started, the walls were a mess and there was a lot of patching to do. James is a perfectionist, and the place looks new. Our condo has been transformed! Besides that, he's just got to be one of the nicest people you'll meet. Every expectation I had was exceeded.

When I reached out to Teddy Graham Interior Painters for a quote, I had already worked with the owner, James, under different circumstances several years earlier. I asked for several quotes, but the most important was for painting an interior room and removing the textured ceiling. I was mid-renovation when I called – we had opened several walls to create an open concept living/kitchen/dining room and there was no plan to finish the ceiling. It was my first renovation, and I was unaware of just how much of the ceiling would be opened. Since it’s an older home, the entire house has a textured ceiling. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to get rid of the texture and create a modern space. From the beginning, James’ crew was punctual, respectful, responsive, and professional. They took care to cover all the new cabinets and used every tool possible to limit the amount of dust from the sanding to remove the texture. I thought that removing the texture would be the difficult part, but I was wrong. Once that was done, they began the process of smoothing the ceiling. They ran into several issues due to the tape and mud job that was done by the contractor’s crew but were able to smooth things out and start painting. Unfortunately, they kept seeing different spots of the ceiling crack, right along the lines of the new drywall. No matter what they tried, new cracks appeared and cracks they fixed reformed. Unable to find a reason for the cracking or a solution, they decided it was time to take a look at what was going on in the attic. It is thanks to their diligence that I learned that the contractor had “forgotten” to reattach the joists that support the roof after they installed a new LVL beam. If you just had a W** moment, I assure you I was right there with you. Unfortunately, this has spiraled into larger issues with the contractor, but if not for James’ team, specifically Brandon, taking the time to find a reason for the ongoing cracking I would never have known the joists weren’t attached. Since there was very little work left for the contractor to do, it’s possible that the issue would never have been addressed. I can’t praise their work ethic enough, nor their compassion as I began to panic about their discovery. At some point in the future, I will be asking them to return to finish the ceiling. The room, which was painted, looks beautiful. I’m incredibly happy with their work and look forward to working with them again.

James & team did beautiful work! They not only patched up some unsightly cracks and dings in the walls, they also made the walls appear much more even and clean. When I purchased my home I had the walls repainted off white and the wainscoting as well as crown moldings and door jams/ window trim all painted a light grey! It turned out wonderfully! We are absolutely in love with the new look! We also turned the natural wood fence into a beautiful oasis by painting it Charleston green (almost black) which made the greenery and shrubs pop against the color. It is better than I imagined! I call James every time I need anything done, even if it’s just a ceiling touch up around a light fixture! He and his team do incredible work at a good price and they are easy to work with and incredibly accommodating with your time. We knew we could trust having them in our home alone, which we did on numerous occasions, and can’t imagine having more peace of mind than that. James is just an incredibly nice person, friendly, and trustworthy. We will hire James again and again!

It was fine. They were very pleasant to deal with, they did our request, they cleaned up after themselves and they did a good job and their price was reasonable.
