Tenway Moving Company

"We are sorry that you had an unpleasant experience with Tenway Moving. We would like to take the time to outline the facts of this move. 1. We have never employed anyone named David. You spoke directly with the owner of this moving company "Michael Farr" who personally oversaw this move. 2. Upon arrival to location #1 the move should have been cancelled with the opportunity to reschedule at a later date. The first initial smell upon entering the home was urine. There were 3 dogs and 2 cats on site. This move was designated for packing as well; things we were asked to take that we did not were 2 litter boxes that contained large amounts of feces. When we began to roll the rugs in the home urine began to drip from them. There was a couch located in a back bedroom that had upon inspection a rodent infestation there was a very large amount of rat feces under it. In one bedroom we found a bucket of ice cream growing mold while dismantling the bed in another room there were numerous food items and bowls with expired food and mold inside them. All around the house were unkept nesting areas for the pets. We were asked to pack the kitchen and pantry. The refrigerator contained extremely large amounts of mold and the pantry upon inspection had ants, gnats and what seemed to be a cockroach infestation. While moving furniture in the home on several occasions we noticed feline feces petrified to the tops of dressers and tv stands. During the booking process we informed you that due to COVID-19 we respectfully ask that you pack your own clothing and you did NOT. While moving you offered the movers a bottle of Hennessy that was discarded at Loc#1 and then accused them of drinking on the job. There was a furniture item that was broken but at the time you told the movers that you knew about it and that you would just glue it back on. 3. We are fully prepared to answer all lawsuit claims with photo evidence of the items and the condition that the home was presented to us to pack."
