The quality of service was very good, but as far as the business end and their professionalism it was poor. We also never had the same technician twice, I think they had a hard time keeping employees. They use an 800 number call center and we sometimes had a difficult time getting through to them. They've raised their prices frequently over the last few years. They rarely gave us notice that they were coming when they had said that they would do so, because of this often times they wouldn't be able to do the inside of the house. They spent very little time at our house and I have a feeling they didn't do a very thorough job.

All I wanted to do was to get rid of the mice. It was a very difficult time for me as my husband was in the hospital with advanced heart failure and coming home to mice in the kitchen was not something I could deal with. Terminix came out to investigate and said attic and crawl spaces were infested and insulation was torn up. They recommended bait containers and replacement of insulation with rodent repelling materials and encapsulation. At the time they also suggested gutter guards as it seems there was activity that way as well. One person came out to inspect one day, two returned to do the sale. By the time they walked out I was in debt over 10,000 dollars. Since the work was done we have had one dead mouse in the kitchen, and centipedes and millipedes galore. They have reported that they have been out to treat the outside and report not seeing any ants --I never had any problems with ants and there should be no treatment for them. In addition the first time they said they treated, the back porch was covered in leaves, how could they treat it? They also told me I need a new roof, that there were shingles coming up and they saw a leak when they did the insulation in the attic. I have had three roofers come out with varying opinions. No one says that the roof is of immediate concern and the guy who came out a few weeks ago just sealed a leak site and also a site where he pulled out a bullet! His assessment was that the roof needed to be replaced in a year or so, but indicated there was another problem: When he looked in the attic for a leak, he said there was no natural light at all coming from the soffits, he said the insulation was blown through the soffits and was blocking any fresh air from coming in. He said he did not see any "baffles" which would have blocked the insulation from being blown in the soffits which should be clear. I am very unhappy with the service from this company. I feel they took advantage of me during a very difficult time when I had a lack of sleep as my husband was dying. Now I am looking at all the problems and am angry that they took advantage of me. All I wanted was for the mice to go away. I would have been okay really with the insulation if they did it right, however, it looks like they have blocked good air coming into my house, air is stuck in my attic. The soffits need to get cleared, the gutter toppers look awful and have dented my gutters and while I have not seen a mouse in a few weeks, there are centipedes all over the house. I called to complain and they sent a guy who left a note saying he sprayed around the house and there was no sight of ants, just spiders. I did not complain about ants!!! And, after being away for four days, I came home to an extensive spider web on my mail box next to my front door. The branch manager, Jake Keough, came out with two other guys last week and agreed that the baffles were not put in properly and that they had to fix it. I also showed them the dents in the gutters and the popping out of the screws. I also told them that I was told they were going to wash the gutters and that my understanding was that they would power wash them, he said that they don't do that but that they would go ahead and do it for me. I also took him downstairs to look at the crawlspace. They didn't clear the crawlspace as they said they would, they just left everything in the basement instead of hauling it away and the 20 year old insulation was still hanging in the crawlspace. In addition, the machine they put in there to get rid of humidity wasn't working. I also showed him under the sink and behind the oven, where there were mice droppings, indicating that mice were still present. Jake said that he would have to go back to the office and talk with his team and that he would contact me the next day. It's now been almost a week and I haven't heard a peep from them. Now here I am, 8 months later, in the same position as I was before with a job that isn't complete.

Salesman did a great job. It took time (longer than I expected) to get the treatments and the follow up has been average to poor. Time will tell if this was a good investment. It was very very expensive. Critters pulled many of the installed bait stations out of the ground and they had to return to reinstall the ones that I could not push back into the ground. I had to call a number of times to remind them that they were to return to reinstall the bait stations and to check for carpenter ant control.

We just have it done every three months. If we find an insect or something between times, you would call them. They'll come right out and do whatever has to be done. We had so many insects come in that one time. I don't remember what they were now. They've been here about a month before. But they came out an took care of it at no extra charge. They're helpful. I mean, if you call them in the middle of a between-times with a problem, they'll come out. We had spiders this last fall, and they came out and brought these little traps that you put down. And we got rid of them. Within a week I didn't see any. One time we had a mouse in the pool shed, and he ate through a bunch of stuff. So they came out and brought out the stuff to put down. They didn't charge anything; they just dropped them off one day when they came and were out this way.

When I first signed up with this company, the first visit was fine as well as several after that. I had signed up for spraying for pests and checking for termites. I changed to termite inspection only on 6/14/16. During the summer of 2016 I found some type of insect at the entrance to my garage and found it was destroying the wood, it appeared to be termites but may have been carpenter ants. Terminix never told me about these and never sprayed for them, I had to take care of it myself. Then in February of 2017 they called and said when they would be out, I told them that would be fine. On the day of the visit they called and said they were on their way. I told them not to come, I had an emergency and I was not at home. They said they would go ahead and inspect the outside of the house and come back later and check the inside of the house. They never came back and I received an email and a bill stating that they had completed their last visit and charged me the normal fee of $74.81. I am not sure if I had a 2 or 3 year contract with them, but I will never use them again.

We always have them come. They come every several months, that is their standing. We are customers with them. If you have been with them for so many years, they will give you a better price. The area is always cleaned, it is a spray. It takes maybe 20 minutes or so to complete the work. It’s not bad, they have been doing it for 15 years. We’ve never had a problem with them. They have always responded.

Previously, Terminix used to call beforehand to schedule an interior and exterior inspection at the same time. For the last few years, this has not happened. I get a notice that someone stopped by unannounced to do an inspection; since I was not home they could not do the interior one and had to schedule it later. This seems very inefficient to me. This year, the same thing happened. But, in addition, the person who scheduled the interior one cancelled and rescheduled twice, doing both close to the time I was expecting them. This is both inefficient and unprofessional. I was not impressed by the individual's excuses. I am seriously considering ending my relationship with Terminix.
