Company appears to be out of business and is not in good standing with Angie's List. Ryan did a very good job of cutting the pavers and laying them out properly and installing the steps. The problem I have is that he didn't water in the polymeric (joint) sand as required, he said the dew in the morning would activate it. It seemed to work until heavy rains came and then parts of the sand washed away. He said it just needed a touch up and for me to add more sand. Then I tried to seal the walkway before winter and when I took the garden hose (not high pressure) all the joint sand loosened up and started to wash away. It was so bad I had to turn the hose off and I was unable to seal the walk to protect it. I now know that he didn't follow the directions when applying the joint sand, but I don't know if he also mixed play sand in with or instead of polymeric sand. I had polymeric sand in my previous walkway and it doesn't just dissolve like sugar and wash away in the rain. I've tried many times over the past 6 months to contact Ryan for resolution. At first he said that he would come look at it and that he'd probably have to remove the sand and re-apply new polymeric sand. But he never came and he's been ignoring my emails and phone calls for 6 months now. It is very disappointing and now I have to find another contractor and spend more money to finish the job and fix his mistake. If you're thinking of installing a paver walkway, do yourself a favor and just get an asphalt path instead.

We have been very pleased with the landscaping work that Ryan and his team has done on our new property. The 50-foot limestone wall is fabulous and we enjoy our beautiful bluestone patio nearly every nice day. Ryan is a very hard worker and sets very high standards for himself, He has promptly responded whenever we have contacted him and stands by his work. When we need landscaping work in the future, Terra Viva will be at the very top of our list.

He did a great job! Expert installation, quality materials, friendly, professional, punctual. No shortcuts or sloppy practices. He was able to correctly estimate how long the job would take to finish. He came when he said he would and worked all day (unlike other contractors I've used). The workers he brought with him were great also.

Ryan and his team did great work. He had great design ideas after giving him an idea of what I wanted. He was able to provide to provide a sample drawing as well when I asked and his estimate was competitive with other offers. Really happy with the results and would certainly hire again!

Ryan and his team were fantastic. They took the time to understand my needs, had real expertise and great advice on solutions for my landscaping. The price was fair, they were always professional and responsive. I'm thrilled with my new foundation plantings and would use Ryan's services again in a heartbeat.

What an awesome experience! These two men worked so hard, but before the work began, Ryan met twice with my husband and me to create a plan. He kindly revised the plan to meet our needs and presented us with a clear timeline and cost-which he honored. Ryan showed us a couple of lovely samples of stone that he believed would create a beautiful patio. We chose one and it is perfect. Then, Ryan and Spencer began the work which they did diligently. They were friendly and professional. The end result is gorgeous! We love our new stone patio and our new back porch and are very grateful to Ryan and Spencer!!

Ryan and his team are great!

The simple answer as to how our patio installation went is perfectly. Ryan and his crew always showed up when scheduled, they were professional, friendly and finished on time and within budget. What more could you ask!

I got prices from several companies and Terra Viva Design came in with the best price. Ryan called me the next day after I called for an appointment. He drew up a design and gave me a choice of several paving blocks that were in my price range. The workmen came when they said they would be there. It took 2 days to do the work. They cleaned up after themselves. I was able to use the patio the next day. It looks great. It is just what I wanted.

Ryan from Terra Viva consulted with us extensively regarding the type of material he wanted to use to build a stone retaining wall for us. He was honest and attentive to our budget and needs, and we ended up going with a beautiful natural limestone. Terra Viva took great care in respecting the property and had an extremely low impact on our existing landscape. After it was finished, he even recommended some fantastic plantings that would accent the wall nicely! We will not hesitate to call them again for our next project!

Ryan and his team are very hard working people that performed great work on our property. We have recommended Ryan to others and will certainly be working with him again soon.
