Remove a tree in my backyard near my shed. Made a date to start never showed on that day. He should’ve taken one to two days to finish this tree but it took three weeks. He was cutting the tree and a limb fell out of the tree and into my shed.

Although it seemed like forever, the tree was taken down in much less time than even 2 weeks. Being over 3 hours away I'd hope you would understand the determination he had to please you and your family. Giving him an F on responsiveness is absolutely false in it's own because he never once left y oiioo u hanging, wondering. we appreciate your business Mr. Midel but let go of the reigns a little on this one."

We hired Terry’s Tree Service to do work on our lot that is currently under construction. Stephen cleared out small trees, bushes, branches, and shrubs from our property on September 25, 2019. It is now October 23rd and he still has not cleared away the debris. He has told me on multiple occasions that he hired someone to do it and they never showed. He has also told me numerous times that he was going to come haul it away, only to find out he hadn’t. Last week he was at my home around 9:30pm and implied that he wanted to light it on fire. I told him “please don’t start a fire.” He texted me the following morning stating that he had hauled a portion of it away. I asked him when he would be back for the rest, he said he would be there before Monday the 21st. He did not. I texted him the 21st stating that I would be leaving a less than pleasant review if he did not complete the job by the next evening. He sent me a text the evening of the 22nd at 10:20pm asking me not to leave a poor review because he was on his way. Upon my arrival this morning, there were three piles of debri still heavily smoking. 12 hours later. There are numerous reasons why this was not okay, including the fact that we are in a neighborhood, there is no running water or hoses, the fire was against a tree line, and less than 40’ from our home. The job is still not complete. I have requested a partial refund and will be filing a police report for the fire if I do not receive one.

From what I understand you and your husband were THRILLED with the job we had done and said that you didnt expect it to look as good as it did. Job wise, we met every single standard you had set us to. Not only are you lying, you also tried to bribe Mr Terry himself into refunding you 1000$ to not do what now? From what I understand, the cleanup costs were $300 and that was well communicated. We are absolutely willing to refund you that for your dissatisfaction of the clean up process."

This tree removal went poorly. An hour or so into the project I had a gut feeling that I had hired the wrong contractor. What was suppose to be a 4 hour project ended up taking over 10 hours. His saw wouldnt run , Terry left his climbing spikes at home....his most important piece of equipment. Has a "helper" yet has no Workmans Compensation insurance. Poor safety awareness. His helper showed up on the project in her p.j.s. she left to buy Jean's however worr poor workshoes and was exposed to injury from falling trees and had no hard hat or eye protection. I had to actually step in to help because I fear afraid someone would get hurt or there would be property damage. Very poor clean up...did bring a rake or ladder. Broke my aluminum ladder and didnt bring the damage to my attention. Was not able to haul off tree debris because he doesn't own or rent a decent trailer. Failed to return to project to clean up and remove the limbs that he was not able to haul away first tree. He asked that I write him his check in his name because he claimed he has no business checking account.

In my defense regarding the time needed to do the job is that we did also remove another tree that was not listed in the quote for no charge. Also, we experienced a major slow down with my climbing saw being unable to perform and adhere to the task at hand. Again, we apologize and would like to offer you one tree trim for no charge."
