Building From The Hart

The porch was over done. Adam made sure it would never move. He was absolutely awesome to work with. He adjusted as needed, and made sure everything was perfect. We couldn’t be happier! And every day the crew cleaned up so the dogs didn’t have “chew toys” that were bad for them! He absolutely builds from the heart!

Adam built a large 20'x20' deck over an existing paver patio. The workmanship, materials and result are excellent. His attention to detail and creativity has created a new living space that is seamless from the interior of the house. Highly recommended!!

He used composite decking, aluminum rails on top of the wood frame. The complete deconstruction was included. Very affordable and professional. I will call Adam again if we need something similar.

Adam did such an excellent job on our deck rebuild! His craftsmanship is top-notch, his vision is intuitive, and his willingness to perfect it to your satisfaction (and then some!) is so refreshing. We were so fed up with what to do with our aged deckâ to the point of just wanting to tear it down. Luckily, we found Building from the Hart. Adam basically took our 14-year-old, sad looking structure and turned it into an amazing new space with beefed up posts, diagonal deck board patterns, and a gorgeous pergola. He skirted the bottom with an apron of decking and meticulously set all the railings with iron posts. The finished product is fantastic, and we cannot wait to use it! -- In addition to his skill and attention to detail, Adam is a genuine, kind gentleman with an admirable work ethic and great sense of humor. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him, and we would highly recommend his services.

Adam built a composite deck for us and replaced railing on our front porch with trimmed posts. Very small details and â balanceâ are my highest priorities when taking on a project. Adam was able to deliver a finished product that was exactly what we wanted. We would definitely use his company again.

Adam was the greatest! The work that he did, far exceeded our expectations. He was conscientious, very meticulous and paid great attention to detail. Our project involved resurfacing a rather complex deck with 2 levels and 4 wide staircases and lot of angles. The project also had some structural repairs and modifications and the addition of a pergola. Hart did a great job. The end product looks great and we are very pleased with the quality of workmanship. Great work ethic. Creative solutions to a few challenges. Very personable. More than fair in his pricing. I would recommend without reservation. I am sure Hart is very capable of performing projects far more complex that ours.

Fantastic work ethic! Completed on time, more then I ever expected in workmanship. It was superb and would highly recommend Bldg from the Hart . I couldnt have been more pleased with the excellent work that was done. Friendly and honest owner and assistant!

Out of 5 responses to our request for bid, only 2 came to the house to inspect the project with in a week. This company had a higher labor cost, but gave me a better feeling on being able to complete all the miscellaneous additions I requested. He provided the cost estimate for treated lumber and the composite decking. Composite is approximately 3.5 times more, but much lower maintenance costs. We went with composite. His estimate on materials was a little on the high side, so we ended up with a total cost less than the estimate, rather than a big cost overrun. There were a couple of days when the rain prevented work, but if there was a window, he would complete what he could. Overall, my wife and I are quite pleased with the results.

Did a great job with our deck. Very happy with the end result.
