Stole money from me Didn't provide work. I called to cancel on 4 different occasions. Now they say I owe more money. This contractor service is a scam. I've had to file a claim with my bank and cancel my debit card so they wouldn't keep charging me. I was originally told that I would have at least 3 leads a day and I've only received 2 leads in 2 months that wasn't even in my line of work. Now they say I owe even more money and threatening to take me to collections because they couldn't keep charging my cancelled card

Not pleased with some of the contractors they recommended for me in Upstate NY. We tried a plumber and an electrician from Angi. Both overcharged and didn't do great work. The electrician took $900 a day and was quite slow, deliberately trying to drag it out so he can make a killing. The plumber was not able to fix my heating duct issue but was happy to take $260.

Do not use their services for your company or another's. They also want everyone's personal information for reviews from your own customers for it to even happen. They do extort ion tactics to remove false reviews.

Angi’s List is No Longer Trustworthy. I used to trust Angi (formerly Angie’s List) for contractor recommendations, but my recent experience has changed that. Two highly rated vendors on Angi turned out to have terrible reviews on Google and Yelp, which raises serious concerns about their rating system. After researching, I found that Angi allows businesses to pay for better placement, and negative reviews seem to get filtered or buried.

ANGI’s are thieves. They where bought out by home advisor and now just steal money form contractors. When my contact ran out I told them I did not want to renew. They kept trying to take out the money anyways every day. After 2 weeks of this. They finally sent out a cancellation email on a Wednesday, that Friday they stole money form my account after the cancellation email and had to report them several times for fraud cause they somehow got my account number.

So purchased a home gym through Walmart- paid for ANGI to come set it up. Was supposed to be two people but only one lady showed up. She was super sweet but what should have taken 2 1/2 hours took 3 1/2. When all was done it wasn’t Angi that provided services but some place called ‘Handyman’…. Who the hell has my information now right?!?! Got emails from both Angi AND the Handyman company so now I’m like what the ….. will never use them again… oh and by the way… if your provider is not done in the allotted time- doesn’t matter if only one person showed for a two person job… you can get charged for any overages! OR if that provider decides they have enough they can just leave with the job incomplete…. Nope… not using them again!!!! Only reason I have a star is because it won’t let me leave none at all….

Had no idea how the process was supposed to go thru as the first home buyer. I bumped into Angi as a source of resources. Soon I've got 3 offers with details of what the scope of works were. Move forward, the inspection went on pretty smooth. We have learned lots of cool stuff, especially, we've got a control on what we want and whom we can trust. I will definitely come use the platform again for my home in the future.
