Texas Classic Floors LLC (Kenneth Razor, owner) has left us with an absolute FLOORING DISASTER and we would not recommend this company. The flooring installation is JUNK!!!!!!! We chose this company based on their quoted price and 2 year warranty on installation, a claimed affiliation with the National Wood Flooring Association, and repeated statements that company was insured and bonded. We agreed to pay 50% at project start and the balance upon job completion.
The painting of the ceiling is incomplete resulting from it not being taped properly and blatant missed spots. The flooring is incomplete and was not installed properly. It sinks, rises, squeaks, and shifts when you walk on it (our 9 lb. cat can walk across it and you can see the floor move). The entire floor runs c***-eyed and the entire floor is locked in with no room for expansion. The installed shoe molding pulls away from the baseboards and appears unprofessional. Several transitional pieces are missing and one that we thought had been installed was just placed in position and there our tacks pressing up through the floor which is an obvious safety issue, especially with a toddler around the house. Our china cabinet and hutch was damaged when it crashed during the relocation of furniture. The chandelier was pulled out of the ceiling when the unit fell. One of our living room chairs has several red fingerprint stains on it. Mr. Razor documented the damage and signed a written statement that the company would repair/replace damaged china cabinet and hutch and entire dining room set if necessary. Mr. Razor left the job site stating that insurance would be filed and he promised to return the next morning to complete job and then he failed to do so. Without our approval, a bank envelope that contained final job payment had been taken from the kitchen which was away from the work area. The work area was not cleaned and we were left with a big dusty mess which took us 2 days to clean up. This job is far from being completed. We have made multiple attempts to contact Mr. Razor and he is unresponsive and now his phone number has been ?temporarily disconnected.?
We hired a state certified flooring inspector to assess the flooring and based on that inspection, the entire flooring has to come out and totally reinstalled. We will need to procure an additional several hundred square feet of laminate due to this installer?s incompetence.
Kenneth was recommended to me by an old friend after a bad experience with a different contractor. Kenneth was very attentive, met me at the flooring store he recommended the same day I called him and helped me (patiently) for me to finally pick a color I liked. This took a LONG time, and he stayed with me, educated me on the different kinds of flooring, he was very, very patient! He came, he measured and he gave me a very reasonable estimate. I had workers at my house at that time, and these workers took some of the existing carpet out, but, not all and left ALL the carpet nails exposed! I have two young boys! Kenneth heard about it from me and volunteered to come the next day and removed all existing carpet nails out to make my house safe for the kiddos. Kenneth also gave me good advice on some of the other projects, something he didn't have to do, as he wasn't doing the work. He is very knowledgeable, friendly yet professional. Finally the day came to install my wood, Kenny and his counter part, who I call big Teddy (he is a big Teddy Bear!) did the job in two days, were very cleaned! They did a GREAT job! The floors look amazing! WE are very pleased, so I would recommend him to any of my friends. And, we will use Kenneth company for our next job!

We needed to remodel a townhouse by replacing the upstairs bathroom floor and replacing an old kitchen stove and other appliances. Last year we remodeled and installed 12" granite tile and 8" granite backsplash. When the stove was removed, it left a large space from the counter top to the bottom of the microhood without any backsplash. Kenneth helped us match the granite, picked it up from the supplier and installed the new backsplash. It looks great and no one can tell that it wasn't all installed at the same time. The bath tile floor was very precisely installed. In summary, we were very impressed with the professionalism of the service and the competent job that was performed.

They were quick to respond to request for repair. Gave an estimate and did repair same week for a fair price. I would recommend their services to others.
