My name is Dr. Jemima Goodwin and my fiancee is Kelly Clason. We hired Nelson Acosta of Texcon Concrete from your website (972) 837-5102) . You had him as an approved vendor of which I have screenshots. He got the first check on April 28th to completely re-do the driveway. We are now $16,000 out of pocket. The driveway is still not done. He makes all quigmire of excuses under the sun. I have contacted BBB, FTC and the Attorney General's office. We have also reported this insanity to Bedford police. I will be involving Angi's list in all mentions and possible litigation. You literally still have him on your platform as of today, 08/28/2025 at 1pm. Why would you have a good on your website and crown him as " approved"? He has all sorts of horrible reviews all over the internet. He also asks for money upfront. We trusted Angi's list and this is what we got. I need a resolve to this issue. He texted my fiance today with more excuses. Claiming he can't find the people to pour the concrete, until September 9th. This is atrocious and completely out of pocket. At this point we just want our money back. We have not been able to take out our boat nor bikes, all summer as the driveway is all dug out- our garage is on the back side of the driveway. The See attached screenshots. One of his excuses is he took off for 10 days to go to Miami to put his mom in hospice. Then he apparently hurt his back was another excuse' then the rain' then he can't find contractors- always something. Thanks.

Delays, wrong stain for patio ending up having to redo it myself

Things started off slow but very professional work, kind, in the end reliable and we could see working with him again.

Nelson was great to work with. He explained everything along the and answered all my question. His price was not the lowest or the highest of the three quotes i got. Being that the project was small he did most of the work with his son helping out along the way. I would definitely hire him again for another concrete project.

Horrible!!!! He requested a deposit up front. He needed more money to cover the cost of materials. Then he claimed the materials were on back order. Then he claimed the rain prevented him from completing the work. It has been 2 months and the work is not completed.

We tore out driveway and sidewalk. And repaired a large nasty crack on porch. I got exactly what I asked for and he blended in repair to match sidewalk and driveway. A good job.

It went great. He has done a great job. He's very respectful. He did majority of work. Approximately, it took 4-5.

It was very good. They did a good job. They showed up on time.

This contractor is a complete rip off. The two week job turned into a three month ordeal that was never finished. The contractor will not return phone calls, or show up when scheduled. I gave money upfront and the person not only will not complete the job but will not refund my money. I have since filed a police report and they’re pursuing him. Found another review for him on build zoom where he cheated a woman exactly how he cheated me. Do not do business with this man or his company unless you want to lose your money and not have your project completed.
