Jeremy took our deposit but never came back to complete the fence installation! He basically stole our money.

<p><strong>AWESOME JOB </strong></p> <p>I called Tex Wood Fence Company and an estimator came the same day and quoted me a price. Due to the rainy weather, their crew arrived about 10 days later and did an excellent job. Although they were short handed, the work was still completed in two days.  We really appreciate the hard work that you guys have done for us and the fact that they worked long hours after 9pm each day so they could complete such a LARGE job in a timely manner. The holes for the poles was very hard to dig due to the concrete underneath them. I can?t tell you how nice it was to have this level of service from a fence company, something we just don?t normally see anymore.</p> <p>We have received lots of compliments on our new fence and we will CERTAINLY recommend you to others!?</p>

<br /> This was the best quality fence I have ever had built. My yard was vey difficult, due to trees and roots. However, the guys were able to complete the project on time. They also cleaned up the mess from the old fence, and stacked it neatly on the curb. In addition to the quality work, the price was very competitive.

Jeremy was who we was working with very smart  guy he kept us updated from start to finish on the build will definitely recommend this company.

Great! The first day the guys cleaned the fence in and out in about 3 hours. Second day the guys stained the fence. Will definitely use this company again in the future.

We called 4-5 different fencing companies for quotes as far back as November of 2014.  Our first child was born later that month and put a hold on our fence replacing plan. <br /> Jeremy's quote was the best (price-wise) but was also the most professional and transparent in the work he planned to do and how it was priced.  Jeremy also listened to what it was we were looking to have done instead of taking a "replace it all" attitude like a few of the other companies we called. <br /> We were finally ready to start work in May of 2015 and called Jeremy back to have him take another look at the fencing project.  He returned again, re-walked through the work we wanted to have done, and we agreed on a price and plan. <br /> Jeremy and his crew only took a day (not even a full day at that!) to do the demo and haul off, build, clean and straighten.  They worked quickly, professionally, as a team, were respectful of my yard (and my neighbor's yards) in the process.  The quality of the fencing section they put up is top notch. After letting the cedar cure, Jeremy and his crew returned about 2 months later to stain and tackle a few remaining odds and ends.  Again, quality is top notch.  Very happy with final results. <br /> Not only did Jeremy do this work for us and our property, but he also effectively worked with my neighbors as we share the fencing.  Both sets of neighbors had their own special sets of requests which Jeremy and his crew accommodated and both sets of neighbors were happy with the respectfulness, timeliness, and quality of the final results.   <br /> The only hiccup was that a couple of times we reached out to Jeremy and didn't hear back for a few days.  However, being fair, I think that we (as customers) weren't the easiest to deal with as we had a number of questions, follow up questions, special requests, complexities, confirmations, etc. and I'm sure Jeremy and his crew were busy working other jobs.  In the end, Jeremy obliged all of our special requests, which we really appreciated.  When he was onsite, Jeremy and his team delivered what they committed to, and that's more important to me than a quick phone response. <br /> Overall, highly recommend and would definitely use again. <br />

<strong>Pre-Installation:</strong>  Jeremy was very professional with clear and polite communication both by phone and on-line. He reviewed the measurements of the 50' x 6' old side fence between my house and the neighbor's accurately and provided an estimate. <br /> <strong>During Installation</strong>: The old fence was taken down and away nicely  As he was ready to put the new fence up I asked him if he could put the fence in about 1-2 inches above the ground to assist my weed-eater and they did it fittingly. <br /> <strong>Post Installation</strong>: Shortly, after his team left I looked around and couldn't find one nail or any concrete on the yard.  A while later my neighbor reviewed his side and complimented the installation. The fence was put up firm and solid even with my backyard having down slope. Their work was 100% perfect. <br />

I contacted Tex Wood Fence for an estimate to replace my backyard wood fence which was old, missing several panels and leaning to the point that it was falling over. I spoke with Jeremy at the company.  He was very professional and informative.  He said he would visit my home and provide me with an estimate within the next couple of days.  He contacted me within a few days after he'd been by my home and provided me with an estimate and explained what all the costs were for.  My neighbor's bushes on one side of my home would also have to be trimmed in order for a new fence to be installed.  Jeremy quoted a price for those services in the  event that my neighbor was unable or unwilling to cut back his shrubbery. Jeremy indicated that the work required half downpayment all the services prior to the beginning of the work and then the balance due upon completion. He also estimated that he would have to schedule my work about 3-4 weeks later.  The timing worked well for me since I was leaving for vacation the following week. I mailed a check for the downpayment and left town.  When I returned to Dallas, Jeremy contacted me to say that he could move the work forward and begin a week earlier than planned.  He was able to take down the old fence, discard the debris and replace the fence with an 8 foot wood fence with steel poles and two gates in the two days he originally estimated it would take.  He lost one day because of torrential rain storms, but still it only took two days of work. He was very punctual, kept in communication with me regarding the progress, was always professional, and did an excellent job.  I am considering have the fence stained and will definitely contact the Tex Wood Fence company to do this additional work. <br />

I built a home 2 years ago.  In the design of my pool we created a unique wood structure to hide pool equipment.  It measures 13ft x 8ft. The stain I choose was very dark and I paid over $1000 to redo within 6 months.  The same thing happened again so I decided to find someone on Angie's List.  Texas Wood Fencing not only did the job for $360, but they educated me on why it kept fading and fixed the problem!  I will use them in the future. <br />

Estimate was completed promptly.   Work started following week.    Work completed same day.   Had issue with one board which I didn't notice on walk-through.    They returned following week and fixed to satisfaction.    Price was reasonable.    Work was completed when promised.   Quality of work was excellent.   I would recommend to anyone. <br />

Jeremy was very responsive and answered all questions. This is a rental property and we did it all by phone and photos. He was the most willing to work with me as opposed to other vendors, as my goal was not to replace the entire fence. <br />

Jeremy came out; measured and gave us an estimate. They were by far the best quote we got for a 6' cedar board on board fence including a 6" base board and trim board at the top as well as staining and sealing, and demo and removal of the existing fence. <br /> Their boys came out on Thursday to demo our existing fence during a downpour. They managed to get it all taken down before the the weather just got too bad to continue. They came back to set the posts on Friday. Then Saturday morning there were there bright and early to check the posts- they were good to go for installation. The crew worked nonstop for hours and hours installing all of the pieces that make up the fence. Sadly, just as the got to the final section, they discovered that their supplier had shorted them about 19 boards. They installed all they had, which was basically the main boards. They came back the afternoon of Mother's Day to finish. The fence looks amazing. I'm completely pleased with the job they did.  <br /> The only thing that disappointed me was the coupon that I wanted to use for a free "gate insert" in one gate. Our ideas of what constitutes "gate insert" were not at all the same. When I Google images for "gate insert" every one that comes up shows inserts that you can see through- in other words, a hole is cut in the gate and the decorative insert is inserted into the gate where you can see through to the yard. We picked out the insert and I was surprised when I saw that they had just mounted it to the outside of the gate and put a frame around it. It was pretty, but absolutely not what I expected or wanted. I had them remove it. My husband is ordering inserts that he will install himself. Just be aware of this if you use Tex Wood (which I wholeheartedly recommend). <br /> The guys were very polite and respectful and were careful to be sure all trash was removed when they were done. I'm very satisfied with the job they did. <br />

<p>Excellent job all around..</p> <p> I called to make an appointment for an estimate.  Since I knew my staining needs, 8ft by 96ft,  </p> <p>Jeremy was able to give me an estimate over the phone.  We setup an appointment so he could review the job.</p> <p>Sections stained was new cedar wood/capped on metal post and allowed to weather a couple months before staining.</p> <p>We agreed on price, stain color, and a date to perform the work.  Since the winter weather being what it is in Dallas, the job was delayed until the  temperature was good and fence was dry to apply the stain.</p> <p>Jeremy kept me updated via phone and email as to when the weather would allow for staining.</p> <p>I was impressed the way they covered up everything with tarps around the fence including covering up the swimming pool and spa to </p> <p>keep the stain/chemicals out of the pool.</p> <p>  They checked to make sure my neighbors did not have any vehicles parked within range of the spraying.</p> <p>FUTURE:  I have minor repairs to make too the remaining sections of fence.  Once completed I will call TEX WOOD FENCE to clean and stain the remaining fence.  </p> <p>THE STAINED FENCE LOOKS GREAT !!</p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p>

Tex Wood did a great job of staining our new fence addition at one of our rental houses. He coordinated with the tenant to perform the work and kept me informed every step of the way. Plan to hire them again for more work at my personal residence. The new fence stain looks great. <br />

I initally called Tex Wood Fence Co for a quote to replace our fence. We had a section that was leaning that need straightening and also wanted to replace four wood poles with metal poles.  On the first call I left a message and my call was returned within a couple of hours.  Jeremy gave me a general estimate over the phone, but I went ahead and scheduled an appointment to receive a quote for all the work that needed to be done.  Jeremy came over the next day, took a look at the fence and provided me with a quote before he left.  My husband and I felt the quote provided was very reasonable so the following day we called Jeremy to let him know we wanted Tex Wood Fence Co to replace our fence. Jeremy obtained the necessary permits from the city and would have started work the following week, but because my husband and I had a scheduling conflict we post-poned it a week.  It took Jeremy and his crew to tear down, replace poles and reset numerous poles two days.  We couldn't be more happy with the final result or the process and professionalism displayed by Tex Wood Fence Co, Jeremy and his crew.  Without hesitation we would hire them again. <br />

I put in a few requests on Angie's List for a quote to have a our fence stained.  Jeremy from Tex Wood Fence Co. responded within 24 hours and promptly sent over a quote.  However, the quote was higher than a few others we got, but I really liked his customer service, responsiveness, and expert knowledge.  I let him know that we had lower offers and he matched the lowest price!  He was more than willing to bring over samples of the stain colors and even sent me addresses of fences in my area that they had stained so I could see a finished product.  They scheduled a date within a week of the signed contract, took payment over the phone, followed up with their work and e-mail me receipts.   I couldn't be happier with the outcome!  The quality of their work and customer service is excellent!! <br />

Fence went in as scheduled. Practical problems with neighbor's boundary stones were handled well. Crew was easy to work with and easy to communicate with during the two days. <br /> I had one followup visit to mop up some small adjustments I wanted, and they were very responsive and satisfied my requests. <br /> Jeremy was very decent to work with during the quote and installation phases. He is a dedicated worker, and project leader. <br />

I give them all B's and will use them again in the future.
