He is willing to take on any project and then some. My honest feeling is that his enthusiasm somewhat outpaces his expertise and experience. He is a diligent worker and stays with the project. His painting went well though speed seems to trump care and preparation (He painted over some unsanded spackle repairs). My main problem was that instead of the two painters that were advertised, it was him and what I believe was his girlfriend who was inexperienced and sometimes just watched him paint. It should have been advertised as one painter and a helper. The price though was very reasonable and the finished product was adequate. He is likable and I believe honest and trustworthy. I would use him again especially if it was a project that just needed to be knocked out.

Daniel was extraordinary. His diverse skills make him the "perfect" handyman capable of almost everything around the house. The overall quality of his work is excellent. He is timely coming when he says he will and calling if for any reason he is delayed. What's more he is a delightful person who will happily do whatever asked at very reasonable prices. I have several more projects for him including all of the needs of finishing a framed out basement, and I have absolute confidence in the excellence of his work.

I feel so fortunate to have made contact with Daniel Loving of "That Guy" on Angie's List. He is very knowledgeable and professional and did a great job pressure washing and staining my deck. I was very impressed with his attention to detail and his work ethic. He called to confirm each appointment and let me know exactly when he would arrive. When deciding on a day to stain my deck he had looked ahead at the weather forecast to offer options when it likely wouldn't rain. He even noticed other issues with my house and offered to help me with them. On the day he arrived to stain the deck, I embarrassingly realized I had totally forgotten to buy stain. Daniel took it all in stride and drove to Home Depot (not a quick trip) and bought stain and still finished the job that day. The deal I bought on Angie's list was for one coat of stain, but he provided a second coat for a very reasonable price. He had a helper with him that day and he was also very hard working, respectful and professional. More importantly "That Guy" is a super nice and friendly guy. My neighbors even commented that they liked that he smiled and waved when they were out in their yard and he drove by. My dogs even thought he was the greatest! I would highly recommend Daniel Loving and "That Guy."

A very professional and complete job. Also had this contractor paint the interior of my home. Removed all the old rotted wood re-secured the stringers comma cut and installed new deck board. Absolute perfect job. Cleaned up after the installation with not a single piece of scrap wood left lying around. Highly recommend Daniel. I've already made arrangements for him to paint my entire exterior

I hired That Guy twice, both times he called to confirm the appointment, and was at least 15 minutes early both times, patiently waiting in the driveway. He worked very efficiently, was neat and clean, leaving my home with the job finished, cleaned and tidy, and on schedule. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. I was so impressed, I sent in reviews both times, as I know how important it is to have someone you can trust into your home. I hope those reviews haven't been lost?

Very satisfied with the work that Daniel did. He arrived on time, worked consistently throughout the day and left the job-site clean. I would recommend him and plan to use him again. The only slight criticism would be that the promotional was billed as two painters when in actuality it is a painter and his helper. But don't let that deter you. We feel we got very good value for the work that was done and a good finished product. We are pleased.

We called Daniel on Monday, he came out that day and gave us an estimate and said it would take 3 days. He started on Wednesday and arrived promptly at 8:30 putting in a full day and worked hard throughout the whole project. He was friendly, professional and informative when we asked questions. We are more than satisfied with the results and would definitely hire him again.

Dan Loving called me that very night to confirm the painting date I requested. We agreed to begin at 8:30am on my requested date. He sent me a text message the night before to confirm our appointment, and showed up promptly and ready to work. I had emptied the room as much as possible so he got to work right away, covering everything not to be painted for protection, covered my floors and furniture. He worked very quickly and efficiently, and the room looks Fabulous! He was finished in a much shorter time than I expected, cleaned up perfectly after himself, and was just a gracious pleasure to have in my home. I would not hesitate to hire him again, as a matter of fact I have started looking for things I have pushed aside and will call and book him immediately. Thank You Dan and Thank You Angie's List. Really good a lot faster than I thought it would luckily they were able to do most of it while I was at work. They did a really good job cleaning up all of the dust and mess also.
