<p>They said they do cleaning, but we only needed help with getting it started. I guess they provided some advice on that. They were terrible. The guy was here on time. He won't refund our money, when we called to ask for our money back he said that we live in a good zip code where we are able to afford it. He said that he don't have any money and can't give us $99 back.  </p>

They did a wonderful job. Prompt and thorough.

Very well. I bought through Angies List. I scheduled myself, as I needed to get this done within the week I called. I talked to the owner, Martin, who was so nice and in the process of moving his shop from Gilroy to Morgan Hill. Because I wanted this done relatively fast, I said I was flexible and could meet anytime, suggesting if they are out near Los Gatos, perhaps they could squeeze me in. He said in fact, he thought they might be in the next week or so, and he would text me. Well, the very next day, I got a text and met his guys and they did a good job. Plus they took the time to show me how the gas fireplace works. I was very pleased. Martin was very responsive continually and kept me posted or had his guys call to update me on time to meet. Martin also knows everything about BBQ's, so if your BBQ stops working, there is no better place to call for that too! I know I will!

The owner was hard to deal with, with a million excuses for almost everything. He didn't seem especially familiar with Angie's List or what the deal was. However, upon prodding, a competent worker did come out and get the fireplace started. He wanted us to pay for transportation from Gilroy + &125/hr. However, finally he took the $99 as promised on Angie's list. More communication needed between Angie's List and vendor.

I got them off Angie's List because I needed someone to fix this barbeque and it is too big to take anywhere. They had to come here -it was like a house call.

They did an amazing job. I use my grill almost everyday for everything from simple burgers to marinated duck so you can imagine the grease and carbon that will develop over time. While I clean my grill after each use and attempt a deep clean every few months, I could not get my grill to look as good as it was in its first few months of use. And after 4 years, the buildup of grease and carbon on both the grill box and burners made cooking inefficient and allowed for frequent flare ups, sometimes ruining the meal. The BBQ Doctors took my grill to their shop and in the space of a week miraculously turned back the clock. The grates, flavor bars, inside and burners look like new, the carbon and grease residue is gone. All my burners light quickly and completely, with out any dead spots - a problem I had before. They finished the work earlier then I expected and right on budget. I highly recommend the BBQ Doctors to anyone that wants to extend the life of their grill; I will be using then again. <br />

The service turned out fine. He came out last weekend, and I think the offer had actually expired a few weeks before hand, but he said he had been backed up with work that he was honoring all requests. He came out and it was a quick thing because he expects what was there, it was not hooked up to a log fireplace. So, it was just a gas burner to start a log fire, but he checked it out to make sure that it was working properly so everything was fine. It was quick and efficient.

It was a difficult issue, the holidays hit and there was the usual holiday chaos and we re-contacted them after the holiday and then i got sick, it took a little longer than i had anticipated but the contact was good. There was no extra cost. The people were positive, he was very professional and personable, he answered my questions. I have no complaints for what he did.

Went ok, friendly and professional. However, wasn't able to really fix the holes in the burners that were preventing the gas from getting all around the burner easily. But for $49 I still got my money's worth. <br />

Everything went well. The BBQ Doctors arrived on time, and quickly and professionally inspected and cleaned our fireplace. <br />

The experience was good. I like that he was able to fix the problem. He seemed to be knowledgeable. It was a big deal purchase. He got the problem solved.

It went fairly smoothly.  Some bumps with getting together but nothing outstanding. <br /> HOWEVER.............he never did pick up the old BBQ as promised.  (1/26/14)

Service performed took approx. 90 minutes. <br />

I think this provider mostly deals with grills but seemed knowledgeable and proficient with my gas log fireplace.  He and his helper did the jobs listed in an expedient manner and left me feeling satisfied with their work, especially the look of the fire itself. <br />

He was very friendly but cost were way above estimate and he (his helper who did  not seem to know what he was doing broke one part. See above <br />
