Bee's Knees Landscaping Design LLC

I contacted Bees Knees Landscape for annual spring weed spray and specifically requested a price/quote beforehand, which I did not receive. Based on past work together, I reasonably expected the same rate consistently charged for similar seasonal services, approximately $400. Deobrah asked if this included weed pulling and I responded that I had very little weeds. While on site, Deborah asked if she could also pull cactus and trim a bush. I agreed to these minor additions under the assumption that they would result in a modest increase, not a drastically expanded scope of work. At no point did I authorize—charges totaling $1,400. I asked twice how much it would be with no response. Because I did not receive a quote, did not authorize the significant price increase, and was provided a minimal itemized explanation of the charges, I am formally disputing the invoice amount. I shared my grave concern with Deborah. I asked for her address to send her a formal dispute letter. Deborah communicates via text, and refused to share it with me after multiple requests. She became rude and unprofessional. I am requesting 1. A detailed, itemized invoice showing: o Labor hours and hourly rates o Materials used and costs o Equipment or disposal charges o Any fees associated with the cactus removal or bush trimming 2. If any pesticides or herbicides were applied, please provide: o The exact product names/labels o Your New Mexico Commercial Pesticide Applicator license number, if applicable Once I receive and review the itemized breakdown, I am prepared to remit a fair payment that reflects the work I agreed to. At this time, the $1,400 total is not justified or authorized. I do want to add I have outside cameras that show my yard, and the hours worked. If we cannot resolve this between us, I will pursue assistance through the New Mexico Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division, the Better Business Bureau, or, if necessary, Small Claims Court. However, I would prefer to settle this amicably and directly.

Deborah of Bees Knees is one of those pros who works very hard and accomplishes a TON in a short time. Her work is dependable and flawless, which makes the expense worth it. I would recommend her as a landscape gardener to anyone. (She charges $65 an hour but does more work than a team of 2 or 3)

My daughter's yard was suffering and needed a lot of work but Ms. Knees did a terrific job. Even got compliments from the neighbors.

This is without a doubt the best Iâ ve ever encountered. The work is superb. The place looks spotless the moment theyâ re done working so when they go away you canâ t tell that anyone is working on your yard falls the hundreds and hundreds of the planted and the elms they got rid of and weeds they got rid of the new clients the door for the end. Deborah is highly responsive and very thoughtful in her approach to landscape design. She did an excellent job in transforming the front of our house by designing two beautiful large garden areas with natural rock retaining walls, use of hardscaping materials and great combination of perennial, annual, shrubs and bushes. We truly could not be happier, and to be candid we are very picky about design. Deborah spent all the time she needed to get it right, and she takes immense pride in her work product. We very much look forward to working with her again. She is FANTASTIC!!
