About us
The Cabinet Lady is a licensed General Contractor. We are capable of large projects needing wall, window, and door relocations. We also do smaller jobs that simply require replacing cabinets and countertops. Since we are a Design / Build company, the services of a Designer are included in your project price. The Designer will work with you to produce 3D renderings, as well as accompany you to the stone and tile stores. We offer over 80 stock cabinet choices for budget minded clients, as well as semi-custom and full custom for clients wanting something specific. All of our cabinets (stock and custom) come with wood doors, soft close doors and drawers, dove tailed drawers, and plywood carcass in our standard price. We offer a choice of quartz, granite, dolomite, or quartzite countertops. Our work is completed by employees - not subcontractors. This assures you of better coordination between the different trades. Please visit our website to see hundreds of "Before and After" photos.

"Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Sometimes, a client has been living in a home for so long that it is hard for them to visualize new ideas. Our job (wearing our "Designer" hat) is to share new ideas in layout, colors, and styles. It is always satisfying to work with a client that is open to exploring new ideas. And when the client is thrilled with the final results, then that makes everything even better."
"Thank you so much for a great review. It was wonderful to see the transformation from your 1940s kitchen and bathroom to your new spaces today. They are now so much brighter and more organized."
"I'm so glad that you like the transformation of your kitchen as well as the additional storage cabinets. We're looking forward to adding that extra bathroom when you are ready."
"Unfortunately, there has been a big misunderstanding. In 2014, we did your kitchen. You loved your kitchen (see the previous review here or on my website www.thecabinetlady.biz). At that time, I told you there was a small amount of leftover material to do two small vanities or one large vanity. There was never enough leftover material to do three bathroom vanities. You told me that you were not ready to spend the money for the vanities, and I agreed to hold the material for you. For years, I stayed in contact with you and we stored your leftover piece for free. But you were never ready to spend the money to fabricate and install the vanity tops. In 2019 (5 years later), you contacted me about doing the vanity top and doing a bench under your low kitchen window. By that time, the piece had broken during a move. I told you that we would need to get a new piece, and I could not guarantee that we could exactly match the kitchen granite after all those years (since it is a natural material). I never laughed at you, and I was willing to give you a discounted material price (but you would still have to pay for fabrication and installation, the same as if we had done the vanity top at the same time as the kitchen). You said that you would think about which of these various projects you wanted to do. I never heard back from you. Now, it is 2 additional years after that meeting regarding the bathroom vanity top. And this is the first time you are reaching out to me."
"Thank you for the review. We look forward to working with you on the next one."

"Thank you so much for a nice review. We are looking forward to working with you on your home."
"Thank you for the review. It was great being able to give you so much more storage. I have been using the completed photo of your kitchen to show people how they can add a playful pop of color in using backsplash tile."
"Thank you for the review. I always strive to give my clients more than they expect for their money. Sometimes prospective clients hesitate to pay the consultation fee (although it is applied 100% towards their kitchen order). But I have never had a client say that the consultation was not well worth the money that they paid."
"Thank you for the review. I'm glad to have been able to help you out with your remodel."
"Thank you for the review. I'm glad we had the opportunity to remodel your kitchen. The difference in appearance and function is amazing. I'm sure you will get a lot of enjoyment out of it for years to come."
"Thank you for your Angie's List review. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with."
"Thank you for your great Angie's List review."
"I'm sorry for any misunderstanding. You purchased a coupon for a kitchen remodeling consultation. When I contacted you to set up an appointment, you stated that you only wanted new countertops. I agreed to honor the half price coupon even for countertops only. I drove 45 minutes and met with you after work. I spent 30 minutes taking photos, measuring your kitchen, discussing different materials, and discussing edge options. I then invited you out to my car where I had brought over 100 samples to narrow done the choices. Although I felt that a simpler quartz countertop would look better with the multi color tile backsplash you already chose, you only wanted to look at busier granite patterns. None of them matched well to the tile. Thus, I offered to personally meet with you at 3 different stone yards and a tile store to help coordinate a look that you would like. You selected two granite patterns for price comparison purpose, even though you knew you did not want those exact patterns. Then we went back into your house. We did not bring in any samples since none of them matched you backsplash tile.. You asked if I could do a rendering showing different mosaic backsplash patterns and countertop patterns. I explained to you that there are hundreds of granite colors and hundreds of mosaic backsplash colors, and that my computer program has some, but not anything that matched your choices. I stated that the best way to see the various color combinations was to visit the stone yards in person. I agreed to price out two granite choices in prefab and slab to help give you a range of prices. After an hour, I left your house but the granite yards were closed by that time. The next day I sent you prices and addresses for the stone yards. I once again extended an offer to meet you at the yards in person. I did not hear back from you, and then you posted your review."
"Thank you for your review. I look forward to working with you on future projects."
"Thank you for the kind review. We are happy to get started when you are ready."
