Had some trouble booking a date -- all on our end -- but once it was booked everything went wonderfully. On time, quick, professional, got the job done to a shine. (Honestly no idea how they got stuff so clean so quickly -- but then if I did, I wouldn't need them!) They even worked around our poor terrified dog without complaint! Excellent responsiveness. Having them back for a regular cleaning next week. <br />

The consultation and subsequent cleanings have been great! We are very happy with their service. They do a good job and are very receptive to feedback/concerns and address them promptly. We will continue to use them for our bi-weekly cleaning and I have recommended them to family and friends. We also have two dogs - and not a problem for them. Thanks Laura!! <br />

I was due to visit my 82 year-old mother in Cleveland and wanted to have her house cleaned while I was there. I live in Portland, OR so turned to AL to make those arrangements. I found The Cleaner Scene and contacted Laura directly. I explained the situation to her and we agreed to a Saturday at 10 am appointment. My mother takes care of my developmentally disabled brother and I needed to make some very specific arrangements that Saturday morning for driving my mom and brother somewhere and then making it back to mom's house to let Laura in. Laura texted me one hour before she was due to come saying that she would be there at 11 am because she had an errand to run. She ended up arriving at 11:30. This caused a tremendous amount of inconvenience, including my mom and brother waiting over an hour for me to pick them back up. The job she and her husband did was ok. I was disappointed with Laura's explanation about why she was an hour and a half late - "couldn't be avoided" sounded lame to me given the circumstances. <br />

"I was late without a doubt. I apologized numerous times. She was upset, understandably, but said it was ok. That morning I had a unexpected but very necessary appointment come up. We arrived, cleaned, everyone was pleasant. She seemed very satisfied when we finished and even asked me to find a spot on my schedule to preform regular visits to her moms house. I was in the process of doing that when this review was posted. I am confused as to how we went from trying to form a long term working relationship to this bad review."

Laura and Mike have been coming to us for several years and have always done a very good job. Laura cleans the kitchen and bathrooms and Mike does the dusting and vacuuming. They are very dependable and show up on time. Laura always calls if the service needs to be rescheduled for some reason. When I have left a message, she has always returned my call. After we moved to our new house, we asked them to come and clean there. I also like the fact that they are willing to do special projects at a very reasonable price. My husband and I are very satisfied with their work. <br />

They have been a great service provider for us. My husband works from home and is on the phone often when they come. They are quiet and respectful of his space. They do a great job quickly and without any disruption. They bring all their own supplies and have made great recommendations for longer term maintenance of specialty surfaces based on their experience. They are easy to get in touch with by phone, text or email and always respond quickly. They are professionals and I highly recommend them. <br />

Mike and Laurie are very thorough in their work. They wash or vacuum each floor and dust all the furniture, including all the items on shelves or on the walls. They also, on special occasion, have washed windows and blinds and put up clean curtains. Mike and Laurie also do other jobs for me such as bringing the porch chairs and flower box to the garage in the Fall, and then back to the porch in the Spring. If I have something heavy to go down to, or up from, the basement, they will do that also. I look forward to their coming each month. <br /> <br /> <br />

Laura cleans two floors of my house. We have a large dog and two cats, <br /> so it's not easy. She does a terrific job, is professional, <br /> communicative and kind. There is no drama with her like so any other <br /> house cleaners.I highly recommend her. <br />

Terrible. The floors weren't done. The outside of the toilets weren't done. The inside of the shower wasn't touched. The kitchen sink was left with pistachio shells in it. The wastepaper containers weren't emptied. Bed pillows left on the floor. One room was COMPLETELY untouched. I came home and the more I walked around, the madder I became. It was $100 for vacuuming. When I contacted Laura, response was, "I didn't know you wanted the floors done"...??? I have never, ever had a cleaning service be surprised that they were supposed to clean the surfaces of the house.... I spent the afternoon cleaning my house... which is what I'd paid them to do. ps. house is about 2300 sq. ft.... and there is one large room that they didn't have to do as there isn't anything in it. 2 ppl for 2 hours have PLENTY of time to clean it well. <br /> <br /> <br />

It shocks me however that members of Angie's List can write a review (especially a negative one) when they have never met or even spoken to me. I have NEVER completed work at the listed address nor had any contact with the individual listed as the member. There is a real problem when anyone can come along and try to tarnish a companies reputation without cause."

I desperately needed a cleaning lady for a move-in, and called all over Cleveland to find one. Laura was the only one that made the effort to squeeze me in for two hours. She was booked with back-to-back appointments and no wonder! She was SO. THOROUGH. She was polite, but immediately down to business, and bonus: super easy to talk to. She'll give some cleaning tips if you want them for in-between visits... I look forward to booking her on a regular basis. <br />
