"Regarding the B on price. This member received a large discount due to the time of year. This job was done during the ice/snow storm in January 11 and estimated approximately 1 week prior. I would not do this job for this price any other time of year other than Dec-Jan time frame. I did it to stay busy. Regarding hardware removal, light fixture removal etc. It's difficult to find a painter to remove door knobs, window treatment bases and drop light bases. We do it because I believe that it is a better process and leads to a higher quality finish. Not all jobs call for it, however it is a quality step in the process. This was a new home. Some of the fixtures were not hung properly and they were pointed out to the member. We re-hung the fixtures better than they were hung originally. Regarding our cleanup skills. We cleanup after ourselves. The paint that this member is referring to was from the builders painters. I showed this to the member during the walk through and took videos and pictures. The paint that this member is referring to is not our paint, not our mess. Regarding the gob of paint in the sink. This sink was covered from the beginning to the end of the job. We never used this sink to clean up. The sink that we used was in the laundry room with the approval of the member. We do not leave paint gobs in sinks or anywhere else. The paint is from the builders painters. The home was painted by the builder a month or so before we painted the home correctly."
