Matt and his team did a phenomenal job. Going into the project, my biggest concern about hiring a contractor was reliability—I had heard too many stories about contractors not showing up or following through. Matt completely put those fears to rest. He was always available to discuss any concerns and personally visited the job site to make sure everything met my expectations. His top priority was ensuring I was happy with the work. Even months after the project was completed, when a small issue came up, Matt followed through and made sure it was corrected. I had completely gutted my kitchen, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Matt and his team did a fantastic job on our kitchen and bathrooms, the great thing about Matt is his communication is top notch, probably the best for a residential contractor. Whenever we needed to chat he was always available and if he wasn’t he would shoot me a text to say he would call back, which he always did. The work quality was very good and his guys were always very respectful. His pricing was very fair and competitive and if there was a change we discussed pricing before any work got completed. The project was also competed on time which is also a very important piece to the puzzle, especially with a house full of kids and pets. Doing a project at home can be a daunting experience but if you choose Matt and the team I assure you all will go smoothly.

The most important thing when doing renovation is communication. Matt is excellent at this , always answers his phone and deal with questions and concerns immediately. Highly recommended for your next big project.

Review for Matt – The Finish Guys We recently had Matt from The Finish Guys build a pool house in our backyard, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Matt was always on top of every detail throughout the project. He consistently answered the phone whenever I had questions and made sure to stop by regularly as each phase was being completed. He coordinated smoothly with inspectors, kept the project moving, and ensured everything was completed in a timely manner. His communication, professionalism, and reliability made the whole process stress-free. Overall, working with Matt was a great experience. Hired Matthew Lin owner and operator of The Finish Guy LLC for a basement renovation. We had a detailed contract with a payment schedule . Matt requested a $25,000 deposit we gave it to He was trying to request another $20,000 by day number 4 of the job , going against his own contract . He never came to the job site and checked on his men . He wasn?t given us proper material that was promised in our contract trying to give us cheaper items then what we had outlined in our contract !! He forged my fiancé?s signature on the plumbing, electrical and fire permits, lying, putting all his contact information were is should be the homeowner info LIEING trying to say the homeowner was doing all their own work . I?m limited as to how many words I can write in this review ! Ultimately, we took them to court. He was ordered to pay us back $12,500 He defaulted on payment schedule. I had to put a lien against him.

Matt built a sunroom addition for us. We met many contractors before finalizing with Matt and we surely feel good about our decision. Matt's best quality is his flexibility. He wants his customer to be satisfied and happy with the project. He is very energetic and shows care and respect to customer's requests. He is very detailed on his quote. Though all may not finish per the details (in the quote), it is built well and per the code. Matt is personable and will spend time with you explaining and answering questions. His crew is professional, he may though hire helpers for smaller tasks of the project. His framing team is excellent. In terms of timeline, these projects always take longer than planned. Most of the delays are due to scheduling township inspections (and re-inspections). Expect some delays due to Matt's team availability due other projects they are trying to finish. I am very pleased working with Matt for our sunroom project. I highly recommend him.

Excellent work very professional

These guys were great. We had some water damage and needed to get our kitchen back up and running. Matt the owner came the same day we called and helped provide us with multiple options. After moving forward, they showed up on time daily and finished the renovation within the quoted time frame. They didn’t cut corners and were the most competitive in price. Matt was on site daily and provided updates and progress. I would recommend them to my family and friends. I’ve already had them install a portico in my back yard and will do future projects with them. Can’t thank them enough.

Excellent work and helped provide realistic quotes to get a better insurance settlement after storm damage. Very friendly team that is responsive and easy to work with.
