I had a terrible, terrible time with her. I had to fire her. Which I never hired her. She billed me, but I never had a contract with her. She started the work and she texted out the bill. She said, “I do bills!” I had done work with her before and that’s why I called her back. Then I had asked her to come in and do some work for me. She came in and I had wanted her to do some extensive work for me, but she had come in and when she came in she brought another lady with her. Which I didn’t want her to bring, to do some things, that doesn’t even work for her company. The worker that was with her, I had a broken glass on my door. He was talking to me about, which I even asked her to fix. He said, “I know this person in a glass company and I can get glass for you!” After she had sent me a bill she had put that on the bill as saying I hired her to do that. Then she brought lumber to the house that I didn’t even order to start on the job. In the meantime, my husband had a stroke and I was at CenterPoint and we were trying to work out a contract. She couldn’t even call me during working hours. I gave her from 8 pm that night until 10 am the next morning to call me, and she never called. She ordered those materials and then charged me for sending them back, because she was going to do work to tear my porch down and rescreen it, and then charge me for that. She never did give me a figure on how much she wanted for the work. The only thing she did was come in and help me box some things up. My husband was going to have to come home and we were going to move some things out and take them to a storage shed. I helped her box all those things up, put them in a box and take them to a storage shed. That was the only work that she had done, that she had done with me. Then I had found out that her license had even been pulled in Jefferson county several years ago at the courthouse for work she had done. I will never use her again. Then she billed me for $1,570 to just haul a trailer, my trailer no less to a storage unit, and unload stuff into my storage unit that I had packed myself. I haven’t paid her. I asked her how much it was going to be and I said, “I need you to send me a statement, and an itemized bill of what it was going to be for you to do the labor and the work, and the materials!” She said, “I text things out and I don’t itemize!” I said, “Well, I don’t do business that way!” She said, “Well, I do things texting and a had shack!” I said, “Well, I just don’t do business that way!” She said, “I do have where I texted you and you didn’t reply and it’s on my phone. Give me your phone and I’ll show you, I’ll put it on your phone!” So, she took her phone and took a picture of what she had on my phone and put what she had itemized out, which was not an itemization. It was just what she was going to do, the work she had planned to do with me. She took a picture of that and put it on my phone. I couldn’t believe it. It was so unprofessional. I’d thought she had lost her mind. A text and a hand shack! That’s when I was coming home from the nursing home and that was 10 am. I had given her time to call and give me a price and I was paying cash and she didn’t want to go through Angie’s List. I called her and said, “Well, you do work through Angie’s List!” She said, “I’d rather not go through Angie’s List!” I said, “Well, the last time we went through Angie’s List!” It was totally overpriced. Responsiveness would be an “F” too, because there was none, she texted out everything. I don’t response to text and she didn’t want to discuss price. I wanted a cut in price because
