We couldn't be happier. The owner came out and measured, then came out again to make sure of his measurements. We picked out vinyl tile from the showroom to replace an old wood laminate floor. The crew, Steve and Dwayne, were very professional. They made sure to ask questions about what we wanted. They went right to work and cleaned everything up each day and went over what they did before going home. I was so happy with their attention to detail to make sure everything looked right. The end result was super! They are artisans in their profession.

They do great work, very precise. I would suggest they do a full walk through following a job to ensure every thing works correctly, e.g. they nailed our pocket doors closed. Additionally, the sales guy said they could match our kitchen floor to match the product we picked out. When they sent the company out to do the staining, we all learned they could not match the color, so we had to spend a lot more money to have everything match.
It went great. They installed vinyl flooring in the bathroom & outside hallway up & downstairs. They responded quickly & got me a quote the same day. The job was scheduled for the following week. Everything was done professionally. I would recommend them again.

,Although the area was not that big, the house is old and involved a lot of work that wouldn't be necessary in a newer home due to the manner of past construction practices. Steve and Dewayne were knowledgeable and the craftsmanship and attention to detail utilized was excellent. I had many questions which were answered courteously. Customer service with Mike and Jim was prompt and courteous. I was very happy with the results and would hire this company again, if needed, and recommend them to others.
There was a issue with the floor and the owner had me come in and select another floor. They had the floor sent next day so I did not have to wait. The floor was installed the next. It was beautiful.
After having been delighted with the Floor Mart's installation of vinyl flooring in two upstairs bathrooms a few years ago, we returned to them when we needed to replace the carpet in our living room and library, as well as the vinyl flooring in our kitchen. Both are large areas and both required a lot of trimming and fitting. Once again, we were extremely pleased, beginning with the knowledge of everyone at the showroom, as well as the selection. We thought the price quoted was fair. The installers who did the kitchen, as well as the ones who did the carpet, were absolutely amazing. They were highly professional, hard workers, who were impeccable in their work and in the way they left our house. There wasn't a bit of debris anywhere from their projects. Looking at the kitchen vinyl and the living room carpet, I can't find any seams, although I know they are there. These guys are more than good! Well done, Floor Mart! You are Number 1 with us!
Overall it was a positive experience. We're pleased with the carpet we chose and really like the free endless supply of stain remover (it's the best stain remover I've ever used which is key when you have three cats). There were only a few issues that came up. The first was that the carpet did not come in on time for installation which meant we had to push it back. They offered us a discount as compensation for the inconvenience which we appreciated. The issue really was a miscommunication on what exactly the discount would be. They offered a flat dollar amount and free furniture moving. But at this point it was a day before installation was supposed to occur so we had already taken it upon ourselves to move all the furniture onto our hardwood floors. I suggested getting the amount that the furniture movers would charge as a discount instead but they didn't agree and refused to do any more or even split the difference. I figured then they'd at least cover moving the furniture back from the hardwoods but that also seemed to be a problem because they weren't able to provide movers for the time we'd be home to direct the furniture layout. In the end they sent one guy to help my husband move the heaviest pieces and we did the rest ourselves.
The second issue that came up was a carpet seam in the upstairs hallway. When they finished installation I noticed there was a large gap in the middle of the hallway. I called to complain and spoke to a woman who said that was impossible. There is no way there could be a seam in my hallway. I assured her there was. She said I was mistaken and that this must be the result of the end of a roll of carpet where the carpet is bent back and there is a crease which can appear like a seam but will eventually return to normal with some vacuuming. She told me to vacuum it more. We vacuumed it excessively but I also examined it more and I could clearly see both the cut ends of each section of carpet as well as carpet glue coming up in the seam. I called the woman again and told her repeatedly that this was most definitely a seam. She said it wasn?t. Very upset at this point, I asked for her to send one of the owners to just take a look at it because they would definitely see it was a seam. She said this wasn?t an option. I offered to send a picture on my phone which she also refused. Frustrated and practically in tears I wasn?t sure what I could do. I finally called one more time and this time when I spoke to her she said ?oh, yeah, I know that?s a seam. The carpet isn?t long enough to make the whole width of the hallway so they had to put a seam there.? I was flabbergasted at the sudden about-face without so much as an acknowledgement that I had been right in my insistence for the past week. Finally in agreement that it was a seam, I explained that it was a poor seam that needed to be redone. The installer was redeployed and the seam was fixed (he actually had to replace a large chunk of carpet to fix the seam because the carpet was cut too short which resulted in the extremely visible seam which he agreed was unacceptable).
Despite the few issues, the experience was positive enough that when we finished our basement in April of 2012, we hired them again to install carpet in a much smaller area which was completed without issue.
Everything went well. The installer noticed a problem with the way an estimate was taken for a fancier stair we have stepping down into our living room. It took longer for them to do it the correct way instead of the estimated way but they did it for the same estimated cost and I was glad they pointed out the difference.
I ended up paying $2600 for the flooring. They did a good job. They cleaned up after well. They had to come back and fix the door because it wouldn't close right which was nice. I would use them again.

The whole process was positive. Cathy was my sales person or I should say adviser. She helped me decide what I needed and educated me about what was available and the differences among them. I am quite pleased with how it all turned out. I was particularly impressed with the floor installer. Portions of my floors were levelness-challenged. He showed me the problems and suggested solutions. Had he not been as professional, he could have ignored the problems and gone ahead without the fixes. The result was perfect. I couldn't be happier with The Floormart.
