The Floor Pavilion

Everything went as planned, no surprises and excellent work.

First of all, The Floor Pavilion was one of the only flooring/remodeling companies to even contact me back when I was contacting companies for estimates. Not only did they contact me back, they did so very promptly and very professionally. Clarence came out for a free estimate within a couple days, and we went to the showroom to pick out our flooring the following weekend. Clarence immediately recognized us and made sure to guide us through flooring selection with one of his associates. They answered my MANY questions and were great to work with. We had a final quote that was extremely fair and scheduled the work. Clarence let us know they also did basic remodeling work as part of the flooring install, and they were able to take care of removing wall tiles for us, as well as replacing our bathroom sink and toilet with brand new ones we purchased. Frankie did all of our bathroom work. He showed up exactly on time, and was so nice to even offer to allow us time to paint our bathroom before he put the new fixtures back in which was a HUGE lifesaver as the bathroom is so small, I wouldn't have even been able to get the ladder in the space with the sink/toilet back in. Frankie did a lot of extras to make sure our space was right and we're so pleased with how our bathroom turned out! Highly recommend The Floor Pavilion for prompt and professional service!

In May 2017, our washing machine malfunctioned and dumped approximately 70 gallons of water into half of our home. We contacted The Floor Pavilion because they were a one-stop shop. We purchased our flooring and carpet directly though them and they contracted the painters and installers. We had to work with our insurance company to get the funds for repairs and requested an itemized breakdown of repairs from The Floor Pavilion to submit to them for approval. The quote provided by The Floor Pavilion exceeded by far the amount allocated by our insurance company. We were able to remove some items from their quote and modify it so we could minimize our out of pocket expenses. For example, The Floor Pavilion quoted us $3,000.00 to move and store our furniture during the repairs. We were able to hire movers and storage ourselves for $1,000.00. This is just one example of a difference in price that we found it was better to handle ourselves. However, if you wish to just have them handle everything for you, I believe that they will do a good job, but be prepared that you will pay considerably for the convenience. The one problem that we did experience was scheduling the work. The company has several jobs going on at the same time and that made it problematic. We locked in our dates for the vinyl flooring to be done on Thursday; carpet replaced/installed on Friday and the painting and drywall work on Monday. The flooring and carpet installation went smoothly, but on Monday the painters did not show up at the 7:30 am appointment time. I called the Floor Pavilion and they told me that they had rescheduled the painting for the following day on Tuesday. This was news to me and since I had taken vacation time and hired the movers based on the schedule provided by them and it threw everything off. There was no apology for the inconvenience or delay. In addition, we had to reschedule Phase 2 of the reconstruction to be completed at a later date. I believe that the work done was excellent and I would rehire The Floor Pavilion again, but I would advise any Angie’s List member to be prepared for any additional costs or potential delays in scheduling from our experience.

We found the Floor Pavilion staff to be very helpful, professional, and honest with all the information we needed to make decisions. We would absolutely use their services again in the future and have full confidence in the quality of the work and products.

The floor was installed very quickly, no questions about running it under appliances where applicable. Quite friendly and informative installer.

Rugs look much better. Very helpful as always. I have used them before to install a kitchen back splash. I would use them again and plan to in the future for other flooring projects. <br />

I brought in a 6X8 area rug, handmade in Greece and more than 40 years old. It smelled mildew from where it had been in storage for 15 years. After examining the rug, the sales associate told me she was concerned that the colors might run when the rug was cleaned. She indicated that they would test a small portion before cleaning the entire rug, and let me know if there was a problem. About a week after dropping off the rug, I got a call that it was ready. No problem with the colors, and the rug looks and smells great! <br />

They were wonderful. I love their showroom. They have a lot of samples and a lot of great options that I can go and look. They were really accommodating to our schedule for when we needed to have it installed. We split the installation before and after the holidays. There was one thing but it wasn't even an issue. Our toilet wasn't reset even and so they came back and fixed it very quickly. I have nothing but good things to say.

They are wonderful. Everything about them is wonderful. They are nice. They are patient. They call back and do what they say. They do everything a company should do. It is basically refreshing because people are not nice like businesses anymore and they still are. They understand customer service. I want everybody to only use them.

Outstanding to work with from start to finish.  Mark showed up as planned to measure and talk about what I wanted to do.  Called later that day to indicate he had pulled some samples for me to evaluate.  Once decision was made, clear communication about the ordering of materials, time they would be delivered and scheduling of installation.    Installed show up on time, was professional and consulted with me every step of the way. When I left for vacation during the install, I was confident my home would be taken care of until the job was finished.  I could not be more pleased with the results.  I would highly recommend them and plan to use them when its time to install carpet in another section of my house. The selection in his store is amazing, I can't wait to begin that project. <br />

It went well. Had three different dates for work since there were three different products being used. The counters and kitchen look great and the carpet work went well. <br />

<strong>AWESOME.<br /> </strong> <br /> Dennis was extremely helpful in assisting us choose our new flooring.  He was knowledgeable and explained differences between flooring types.  Dennis was at our house taking measurements, and scheduling the work quickly.  He was very easy to work with. <br /> Bill arrived on time each day and was very diligent about doing a good job.  These floors look GREAT and it is A+ quality work.  He also got rid of the flooring creaks and I am so happy about that! <br /> When we are ready for additional work, we will be going back to Dennis at The Floor Pavilion! <br /> <br />

After 14 years, I needed to get new floor treatments and opted for a combination of hardwood and carpeting. Floor Pavilion was recommended by a neighbor. I was pleased with the wide selection available and chose an engineered hardwood for my main living areas and carpeting for my master bedroom and den. Both installers (hardwood and carpet) work directly for Floor Pavilion and they were very professional, clean and pleasant. There were no "gotchas", no hidden additional costs and everything went smoothly. I love the work they did and am quite pleased. They were a little bit higher in cost than some of the big box stores, but I feel I got great service, product and workmanship for the best value. I was so pleased, I am going to have them do my kitchen backsplash! <br />

Our family is enjoying the finished product and are very thankful that we got in contact with Mark and his team. We would gladly work with Mark and his team again in the future. <br />

They were very knowlegable, their prices were fair, and they were very careful in explaining the various grades of carpet. They installed carpet throughout my house. They weren't the cheapest but I felt they offered the best value. Their team of installers was professional, did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves.

Their service was very good and their performance went well.

They are fabulous.  They are customer focused. They work until the customer is pleased. They are honest and dependable.  The have the highest quality staff that comes in my home.  I have never felt uncomfortable. They are professional and very knowledgeable. They are top drawer. I have no intentions of not using their services.
