They first gave a fairly detailed quote, then in about a month came back to do the work. They use a pier system and do all the excavation by hand so it does not tear up the yard. Takes a little longer but in the end i was very good work. Had to add on a lot of pipe, that should have been noted on the contract and agreed to before it was done, but in the end they only charged for the actual pipe used to pier to foundation. Very good at clean up. Recommend them highly if you want a fair and honest job. <br /> <br />

I spent about $3000 on that work. The job went pretty fine. They did a good job of showing up on time and cleaned up things pretty well. The price for the job seemed to be pretty good and they did not try to oversell. They were also prompt.

I felt that everything was worth it. they were very nice people. The owner came right in and work with them to, and I was very impressed with how hard they worked and they got the job. We were entirely satisfied.

The sales representative was very knowledgeable and considerate on the subject at hand, and was also on time to our appointment. The proposal was explained to me step by step and at no point did the proposal seem confusing or unreasonable. I needed the job to be done ASAP because of other work that needed to be done on my house, and they were able to start and finish the job within 4 days of our appointment. The job itself only took 2 days. The laborers were prompt and cleaned their area after each day. When the job was completed I was amazed at how their equipment was able to raise and roll back my chimney and adjoining wall almost completely back to the way it had been before it settled after all of these storms. I would recommend this type of work for settling homes or businesses to insure their value.

Now we have to pay someone to come out and uncover it again, do the finishing masonry work and fill in the cracks.

"Sorry that you feel this way. the porch had settled about 3" in a 12' area. We installed the piers to prevent any further settlement so you would not experience any more collateral damage from the foundation settling such as your windows not aligned, framing and siding not aligned, roof leaking where it had separated, cracks in the slab, brick and block. When I had spoken to you, I told you we do not do any finishing masonry work and you replied that you had another company that was going to do the finishing work along with fixing your framing siding & roof. My proposals signed by you state Install (5) steel piers for settlement on porch. Pour cement footings to be able to install piers on porch area. We dug out the area poured footings then installed the piers and back filled the area. There are on some occasions we'll do some extra things for the homeowners if we see it as a potential problem such as replacing or adding downspout extensions as we did for you on 2 of the 3 downspouts that were no longer functioning properly. Once again sorry that you feel this way. David Bergquist."

The salesman was very polite and on time. He took his time with me and explained what he was going to do thoroughly. When he did the work it was neat and specific. We were very happy with the work and the price of the job.
