We’re extremely satisfied with Framous Brothers’ work converting our screened-in patio into a studio for my wife’s esthetics business, Sunrise Esthetics, LLC. Owner Henry Eiland kept us informed every step and clearly cared about the outcome. What stood out was his integrity: partway through, Henry’s own home burned down, yet he stayed committed to finishing the job right — even absorbing an extra $5,000–$6,000 in unscoped plumbing and electrical costs rather than passing it on. We returned the discount he’d offered once we saw what he’d taken on. Final result: a beautifully finished studio for around $14,000 — thousands less than other quotes. Highly recommend.

April 10, 2026: After signing the contract, Henry requested 15% for the first payment instead of the contracted 10%. It took him one week to deliver the initial floorplan, despite promising it within one day. April 30, 2026: I raised questions about the floorplan and requested a meeting or call to discuss it. I also inquired about the permit status. Henry responded that he had already paid for permitting to start. May 4, 2026: In a group chat with the designer, Henry stated that he would prepay the permits and that they had already purchased rebar and plywood for the forms. May 12, 2026: Henry texted me in the morning that Jesus would be digging that day. I took the day off work and sent multiple texts throughout the day, but Jesus never arrived. May 13, 2026: At 6:30 AM, Henry texted that Jesus was on the property. The area was not cleared, but I got up to meet them. A worker marked the perimeter with green spray paint and left. Two men arrived around 11:30 AM and adjusted the marked lines at least once. My mother and I expressed concern about a nearby tree and tree pot close to the border. Jesus said he would speak with Henry. I also texted Henry about the issue, but he showed no concern. The excavator began work around noon and left by approximately 1:00 PM. May 15, 2026: Henry requested a second payment for rebar, footings, and stem walls. Instead of the contracted 30%, he asked for approximately 31%. He also mentioned additional costs for electrical work beyond the fixed contract price, blaming the City and stating he had been arguing with them. May 19, 2026: Henry collected the second payment. He discussed the dug-up phone line and tree issues but showed little concern. He suggested starting more work without permits, which my mother and I declined, insisting everything remain legal and permitted. He mentioned he would pick up rebar after leaving. May 20 22, 2026: I requested a written breakdown of the additional electrical costs. Henry provided explanations, but after back-and-forth communication (including noting the recently updated electrical panel on the main house), I asked for an in-person meeting. Henry responded that he would know more after hearing from the City and would keep me posted. May 26, 2026: I visited the City of Phoenix permit department and confirmed that no permits had been submitted. I sent Henry a formal demand letter requesting a full accounting of funds, a refund for incomplete work, and a mutual termination agreement. Henry began calling, texting, and emailing, refusing any refund and claiming work would continue. Late May Early June 2026: We exchanged multiple emails. I continued requesting an accounting, refund, or mutual termination and warned of filing complaints with the ROC, Attorney General, and Angie s List. Henry responded with threats of placing a mechanic s lien on the property, charging extra overhead, and holding me responsible for permit fees. June 7, 2026: After receiving no receipts, invoices, or refund, I formally terminated the contract and prepared complaints with the ROC and Attorney General s office. Attempts to serve demand letters via process server at the address Henry provided (Walker Way) were unsuccessful, as the address appeared invalid. July 21, 2026: The ROC conducted an inspection. July 22, 2026: The ROC dismissed the complaint.

Henry and his team were wonderful to work with. They communicated clearly, did what they said they would do and showed up on time. The finished work was exactly what we wanted. We couldn't be happier. This project was unique as it involved replacing the decorative roof beams in an interior atrium, siding/trim repair and painting. Atriums are rare, so this didn't fit in with any normal Angi projects. The Framous Builders are framers, but they took on the additional tasks without question and did a fantastic job. We will not hesitate to reach out to Henry in the future.

Henry and his team are wonderful to work with. They communicate well, explain what and why as well as show up when they say they will. Their work is top notch. They do more than framing as our project required many different skills. They did them all well.

This was my first time ever hiring contractors, and honestly I was very scared of getting scammed or taken advantage of. From day one, Henry and his team?Will and Heath,were genuinely friendly, respectful, and patient throughout the entire project. I wasn?t always sure what I was doing or what decisions to make, and they never pressured me once. They took the time to explain things, understood my concerns, and made the whole process feel safe and stress free. The build-out came out absolutely perfect, and I couldn?t be happier with how everything turned out. I?m beyond grateful I chose them. They put up wood panels onto a wall, had to work around and extend a dual light switch. They had to get a bit creative so the panels ended at same spot on both sides of the wall. Project turned out great. Genuinely nice people to work with.

Everybody was very professional and got everything done in a timely and efficient manner. I was made aware of all the updates and progress throughout the whole process which was very much appreciated. The price is well worth the work they completed. Will most definitely be reaching back out with any future projects I would like completed!
