Cindy Matchinis was wonderful to work with! She was available when it was convenient to my schedule. Very warm and very professional. It was a very long process only because inventory in Williamsburg was limited. Once we found our home, the process went extremely fast and smooth thanks to Cindy.

My recent experience with the Melton Team was the best (of my five sales or purchases with them) by far; amazing, considering it had the most “glitches!” I had a townhouse to sell that needed repairs, and Erin was instrumental in communicating with the HOA to make sure they were done. Even when the HOA balked, changed their contact person, and generally tried to give us the runaround, Erin was tenacious. All the work that I’d tried to get done over the past few years was completed in a matter of weeks, and on time for closing. When the closing date kept changing due to buyer’s paperwork, Erin kept me informed constantly. I always felt confident that the closing would happen without any unnecessary delays. Throughout the process, Erin explained every step, process, figure, and every bit of paperwork. Not being a financial genius myself, it was very reassuring to know that she had everything under control. I trust Erin completely, and I’ve relied on her five times now for her outstanding knowledge, integrity, and abilities. She is also a joy to work with; she is professional, efficient, patient…and so nice! I would never consider changing realtors…and I hope many others will work with her for their property sale or purchase!

Erin Melton made the entire process of buying my first home so easy. Erin was quick to respond to every email, text, and phone call. When showing us homes, Erin gave me all the information I needed and was always honest and straight-forward. I never felt like she was just trying to push a sale. Although buying a home is an extremely daunting and seemingly overwhelming process, Erin walked me through it step by step, answered all of my questions, and explained everything in a way that was easy for me to understand. I was recommended to Erin by a close friend of mine, and I am so glad that I chose her to help me find my first home. I would recommend Erin to anyone in need of a real estate agent. She is so personable and attentive, and even met with me on a weekend to show me homes when my work schedule didn't allow me to meet with her any other time.

First and foremost I have to say...WOW. Erin Melton was recommended to me by a dear friend who is also a realtor. At the time I didn't think anyone could be as great at their job as my friend is. Well Erin quickly showed me how fantastic she is at what she does! She was available to me with my millions of questions and had an answer for every single one. She doesn't waste any time!! Once my husband and I met with her we immediately knew she was the realtor for us. She already had listings ready for us to go through at that first meeting. In just a few days she had lined up showings for us at 8 different properties. We found our dream home in 2 days!! She was there for us every step of the way. We felt completely at ease with her, and found her to be extremely professional, trustworthy and a ton of fun! Buying a home is a huge decision with a process that can be very stressful and worrisome. Erin made every step of the process seamless and exciting! From our initial meeting, Cindy Matchinis of Team Melton was upbeat, diligent and offered a wealth of helpful ideas and suggestions. Cindy kept us updated regularly. Unfortunately, the buyers’ agent fell short of the mark and when the buyers contacted Cindy for help, Cindy's directed them to their agent's broker and we were able to move forward. Cindy was always on top of whatever we needed of her! She is very friendly, welcomes communication, and takes your concerns to heart. She did a lot of legwork for us and was very quick to respond when we had questions or ideas. It was very comforting to see that while we were walking through homes she would go over things with us, with a fine tooth comb! She didn't try to pressure us and was always working -with- us. I would absolutely, without hesitation recommend her services to anyone in the area needing a realtor.

Erin, Bryant, and the Melton team were the perfect fit for us when it came time to sell our lovely home and look for our next adventure. Simply put, the entire process could not have gone better. Even though we were admittedly a bit demanding, and the other seller was being a bit difficult, the team managed it all very well. We got our full asking for our sale, and purchase our dream house for less than we thought possible. In the selling process: From start to finish we could tell that we had the right team. Erin met with us and presented her ideas to get our home sold fast. Beautiful flyers, "bring your own fork" tasting events, wine party open houses.. a number of great ideas. Of course none of them were needed as we didn't have time when our home was under contract in 8 days! Bryant spent the better part of the day getting great photos of our home, paying attention to all of the details that made for an impressive listing. In the buying process: Through everyone's busy schedule there was never a time when Erin wasn't available to answer questions, and most impressively nenever a day that we wanted to view a home that she wasn't able to get us in. Erin and Bryant both worked hard to make sure that we were some of the first in the door when a new potential home popped up. Contract negotiations went as smoothly as they could, and in the end we have a beautiful home, and absolutely no regrets with our decision to work with the Melton team. We would highly recommend them to anyone, any day

<p>Erin is a consummate professional and very good at her job. I contacted her based on good reviews on Angie's list and it served me well. She was very easy to work with, thorough in her approach, and did not put any pressure on me as the seller. She was always prompt in responding to my questions and on time when we needed to meet and I appreciate her respect for my time.</p> <p>She provided a lot of helpful advice on what to do and not to do in terms of updating the 1965 home to ready it for sale. She linked me up with a painter who did a wonderful job painting the house. She thoroughly researched the market of comparable properties sold or being sold in the area and provided details to help my decisions on selling price and strategy for listing.</p> <p>Once the house was listed, she kept me up to date with weekly emails summarizing views and responses from other realtors who had seen the house. She explained the process every step of the way and gave me a real sense of confidence of her abilities and style. </p> <p>Best of all, she closed the deal this week. I recommend her to anyone needing a realtor in the Virginia peninsula area. Thanks Erin for making it happen.</p>

<p>Amazing experience listing with the Melton Team! From the first meeting to follow-ups after closing, there is nothing more I could have asked for in a Realtor. Prior to listing with Erin, she had a wonderful presentation with comps and seller?s estimated cost forms based on several selling prices. Compared to other Realtors her professionalism and experience were clearly superior. </p> <p>She walked through the entire property and gave us a very honest opinion on what needed to occur to sell the house for the desired price. We did everything she recommended, including painting the entire downstairs, power-washing the house and driveway, replacing two windows, landscaping the front and back yard and several other small items. While it required a good amount of money the return on investment was worth every penny! The house immediately started showing the day listed and was under contract within two weeks. </p> <p>Erin responded immediately to every question and concern that we had no matter what time of day. When she went on vacation out of country she made sure we had positive contact with her assistant if any questions arose and she even text from the airport when she came back. Her professionalism and dedication to our house and experience was outstanding. I could not have asked for a better experience. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. </p> <br />

Closing was complicated by an outstanding title issue, she patiently worked through the issue with me, the buyer, and the title companies until it was resolved. Our house had been for sale for three months with several showings but never a bid. We were concerned, but after firing our first realtor we interviewed three agents. The Melton Team was impressive right from the get-go. So we hired them and were happy we did. <br /> The Melton Team came to speak with us, shared their impressions, what they believed we needed to do to attract buyers, and we listened to them intently. Their suggestions were very doable and not expensive. Two weeks on the market they had a significant number of showings and an offer on the house. <br /> Once the offer came in, we listened to their great advice. We consulted with them every step of the way, and finally we had a contract on the house. <br /> They are professionals in every thing they do for you. Selling our house looked like it might be a nightmare, but with the Melton Team, they made an impossibility, a possibility, then a sale. From the beginning Erin was there to answer all of my questions, and explained the process that was ahead of us. Erin was very precise and professional in listing all of the things needed to get the home into top condition to show and sell it was a lot of work and at times tedious and stressful but in the end was all well worth it. Once all of the preparations were done and we were ready to place the home on the market, pictures where taken and the listing was made. Within days we had our first showing, and in less than two weeks had an offer on the house for nearly asking price which would have never happened without Erin's guidance, knowledge and attention to detail. Once the offer was accepted Erin was right there with us to explain all of the procedures and answer all the questions we had for her, in a language we could understand. And made sure that all of the legal documents and other paperwork where correct and in order from my side of the seller as well as the buyers. The entire process with Erin Melton and the team at RE/MAX Peninsula was swift, precise and professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Virginia, then you HAVE to meet Erin Melton! </p> <p>It took us 5 months to find just the right place, but Erin was there to help us every step of the way. She never got tired of hearing from us and was always quick to respond to texts, emails, phone calls, etc. She listened to what we wanted and worked tirelessly to help us find it. She spent countless nights and weekends driving us around town and showing us homes. Her familiarity with the neighborhoods and communities was invaluable. When the search was done and we finally found the right home (we're really picky), she seemed to go into overdrive making sure that all of the minor details needed to get us through closing were attended to in a timely and efficient manner.
