The Moving Man

They did a lot of work in the time that they were here. I thought the price was really great compared to other quotes I'd received. They were really really great, I was really impressed with them. I was a little hesitant but they were very easy-going and answered any questions we had.

Adam was nice and professional and performed his estimate in a timely manner. The estimate was very close to what we agreed on. There were a couple of things that bothered me: 1.) The man that came in to do paperwork before the start of the move was very unprofessional. Almost the first thing out of his mouth was the fact that they expected tips. 2.) I was charged for 5 men and should have been charged for 4 as there were 2 of them that their work only equaled one person - they always seemed to be doing something that had nothing to do with moving my stuff. I DO NOT believe that the trucks should be tidied up and all their blankets folded and put away on my dime. They should have waited until my move was completely finished and time stopped before doing any of this work. 3.) One of the guys had a really bad attitude and would barely speak to me or answer questions and was negative about a lot of the items and where I wanted them put into my house. As it turned out, the items did indeed fit where I needed them to go..... BUT, these three items aside, they did an good job and in a timely manner. I would recommend them to use as your home mover. They took proper care of my furniture and electronics and were never careless. They broke down and put some of my furniture back together and did it well. Their prices are very reasonable. With the exception of one (maybe he was having a bad day???), all of the other men were very kind, courteous, and respectful. Just little tweaking is needed in their service.

I was hoping to find someone to move some furniture from one house to another after work, and I needed the furniture moved within a few days. Adam gave me a fair price and said he was available after work. The movers showed up on time, were professional, and rearranged some existing heavy furniture while they were there. No complaints and I would definitely use them again.

Loaders were supposed to arrive between 9:00 -10:00am. They did not arrive until 11:30am. They said they were having trouble finding help for my last minute appointment. I had scheduled the service a MONTH ahead of time. The 3 man crew did move very fast and it appeared they did a good job until we began unpacking our belongings. Wood furniture was placed on top of metal items without any furniture blankets which we provided. Several pieces of furniture were scratched and chipped. Several dishes were broken. We have moved several times and always packed the same way and never had an issue before.

Shane & Joel were great!!! They were very easy to talk to and did a excellent job. They were even nice enough to set some heavy items in their place for me. Definitely will recommend & use again.

These guys were fantastic. We needed a complex move from and to multiple locations. They were on time, professional, fast, careful, and very reasonably priced. Will use them again in a heartbeat.

The destination house was only a mile away, so it was easy for us (the homeowners) to move many of the smaller items and packed boxes ourselves. We boxed and packed most of our items and moved them before moving day. The Moving Man crew moved all of the furniture (standard items plus lots of bookcases) and some of the heavier book boxes. There was a three man crew who did a great job. They arrived on time, were friendly and helpful. They worked quickly and efficiently throughout the day. Items were well padded, and they had floor coverings to protect the wood floors and padding for doorways and doors.

Excellent service, professional movers. Treated everything with extra care, especially the piano. They were curtious, punctual, and very hard working, even though it was 100+ degrees that day. I entrusted them with some very hard to move heavy furniture pieces and they went above and beyond to ensure all arrived in excellent condition. Highly recommend them!

Fantastic! The two men who came were super hard workers and very helpful. They hustled to get the work done but were careful with what we needed moved. I called around to several movers and Adam gave me a more affordable estimate than most so I was worried they wouldn't be as good. However, the reviews on Angie's List helped me to go ahead and choose the Moving Man. I liked the fact that he wouldn't charge for a full hour should we have happened to go over the 2 hours asked for and would only charge for 1/2 hour. I appreciated the responsiveness of this company, the affordable price and the great work by the men who came to do our move. Thank you!

I called them early Monday morning before their posted hours and they sent a crew over within two hours of my call and they were GREAT!! They arrived and went over the contract with me, explaining all in detail and then got straight to work. Joel and Shawn took great care of our belongings and were very mindful of all doors and corners. Would ABSOLUTELY refer them and use them again (not that I want to move anytime soon.

Adam Cuevas allowed me to reserved man-power and trucks many months in advance. As plans changed Adam worked with me to re-confirm new dates. Adam's crews provided all equipment, boxes, wrapping paper, shrink-wrap, blankets, tools, brains, and muscle to make this move happen. Each day the movers worked very carefully, were on-time, and were very pleasant to spend time around. No move is ever incident free, and yes, we did have a couple of minor dings to 2 of our dressers, (I haven't contacted Adam about this yet but I am sure he'll quickly complete all appropriate repairs.) But I must say that Adam Cuevas and "The Moving Man" is the finest moving company I have ever worked with!

Adam, JoJo and crew did a fabulous job. They saw pretty quickly that my uhaul was not going to hold everything that I needed out of my house. The guys reorganized my things in the uhaul so tight that a lot more of my stuff fit. They were courteous to me, my house, and my things. I would highly recommend using The Moving Man.

They were faster than the other moving company I used.

Called on short notice. Adam Cuevas was very responsive and professional. Scheduled, pre-check, showed up on time. Three movers, Joe-Joe, Gerald, and Daryl were all friendly, right down to business, took care on moving tables, desks, and large glass pieces. Started at 9:30 a.m. and worked straight through until 3:00 p.m. unloading at new location. Had needed materials, packed efficiently, and were cordial and professional while working throughout the day.
