I had problems connecting with the initial appointment for an estimate. Despite having a firm appointment, he didn't show because he couldn't reach me on my cell phone to confirm the day of the appointment. After this rough start, Matt was more than helpful as the parameters of the job changed several times. They showed up on time and their work was excellent! <br /> <br /> Unfortunately, clean up was unsatisfactory. Excess lumber was left in the driveway, dust was not cleaned up properly and nails were left on the driveway where they were working. After meeting with the project manager twice, these issues were resolved.

The project manager, Tom, made a thorough review of the site prior to beginning work. All work was done on schedule and in a professional manner. The team leader was skilled, responsive and helpful. Very pleased with process and results.

I contracted The Painting Pro's through Home Depot to apply Behr 2 Part Epoxy to my single car garage [9 x 21]. I felt the price was high but not knowing much about the product. I relied on the experts to tell me which product [1 part epoxy, 2 part epoxy or concrete stain] would best suit my needs. The painters arrived as scheduled on the first day to "condition" the concrete. The second day they applied the epoxy. When they finished I thought it looked as though I could see the concrete color through the exoxy in certain spots. I mentioned it but was told to wait until it dried. After 24 hours, I was sure it needed an additional coat. I called The Painting Pros Rep, Dan Fox who said he'd have someone come and look at the job. The gentleman who came to look at it agreed that an additional coat would remedy the problem. I had only contracted to have one coat applied but again I relied on an expert to tell me what I needed. The Painting Pros were not willing to apply an additional coat unless I purchased the material and Dan said he had to talk them in to the labor. Eventually, Dan got Behr to give him the product & someone came out and applied the 2 nd coat. Of course they were scheduled to arrive between 9 or 10 am and after an entire day of waiting he arrived at 4:50 pm. For the amount of $$ I spent on this project, the entire work time was about 3 hours total. I should not have had to deal with this. I did not drive on the floor after the 2nd coat was applied for 4 days, I was told to wait 2 or 3 days. Now, I noticed that where my tires sit, the epoxy is completely gone right down to the concrete which is exactly why I chose to use the Behr 2 Part Epoxy at a considerable price difference. I feel I totally overpaid for the disappointing result and the hassle. I am not happy. I have notified Home Depot.

The quality of the work was excellent, but their communication and management was terrible. Once the guy came and gave us the estimate, he stopped returning our calls. I had to call them repeatedly to set everything up, and there was miscommunication about what exactly we wanted. The representative who came out failed to tell the painters what we wanted, and he was very difficult to work with. Although the quality of the work was high, I would not use them again based on dealing with the representative.

This was very favorable experience. They were careful of flowers and plants and cleaned up after themselves. We had to call them back because one place the paint bubbled, but they came right out and repaired it at no extra cost.

Painting Pros managed to get paint over all surfaces - my wood floors, brick fireplace, leather couch, windows, carpeting, bathroom tiles, doorknobs, etc. Two windows were broken, as well as three sets of custom blinds, and bathroom linoleum. The walls weren't completely painted and I primer is evident on most walls. Furthermore, the paint used on the ceilings was too heavy and, as a result, much of it has fallen. When I contacted the company, I received NO response. When I contacted them AGAIN, I finally received a response and two representatives from the company came out to my house. They were shocked by the horrible work and vowed to repair the damage and have their insurance company contact me. I should also note, the foreman claimed they don't use paint sprayers (a lie) so my paint-covered doorknobs had to have been covered another way. I informed him I installed them DAYS before they were out. Surprisingly, the insurance company never contacted me. Also, when they came out to "repair" the job, NOTHING was fixed. I've never been so disgusted with a company or its work. Also, during the painting of my house, I returned the first day from work to find my house was not habitable. I was stuck living in a hotel for three days and was never told that might be the case. I chose the company based on all of the positive reports the representative toted along -a few were mediocre, so I thought they were honest. However, my opinion was never sought.

"THESE PICTURES THAT WERE POSTED DO NOT ACCURATELY PORTRAY THE JOB. MRS. CONNOLLY HAD SEVERE WATER DAMAGE IN HER HOME AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES. SHE ASKED US TO DO TOUCH UPS IN AREAS AND NOT REPAINT THE ENTIRE AREA. THIS CAUSED YOU TO BE ABLE TO SEE WHERE THE PAINT WAS APPLIED. THIS IS A VERY OLD HOUSE AND THE OVER SPRAY AND PAINT ON THE DOORKNOB THAT YOU SEE WAS FROM A PAST PAINT JOB. WE HAVE MADE EVERY ATTEMPT TO HELP THIS CUSTOMER. NO INSURANCE COMPANY WAS CALLED BECAUSE THERE WAS NO DAMAGE IN THE HOME. UNFORTUNATELY THIS CUSTOMER DID NOT GO WITH OUR RECOMMENDATION OF A COMPLETE PAINT JOB AND TRIED TO PIECE THINGS TOGETHER."

The manager was a very nice guy. He worked with us financially. They have a warranty. The only problem was a language barrier. The supervisor could speak English, but it was hard to convey information at times.

They came when they said they would. They worked so hard. They would get here at 7:30 and work for 12 hours. They would only stop to eat lunch for a few minutes. They let me have one of the Sherwin Williams designers come to my house and they paid for my services. They were very nice and they did a good job. I thought that the price was good. With Painting Pros, they brought in six people and they were very pleasant to work with. We would use them again. They did every single thing we pointed out.

Phone solicitation. Quote. Workers arrived on schedule. Completed activity per quotation. Left empty paint cans behind. The replaced top rails have warped, lifting from the deck fence. The painted metal supports were painted with a non-drying substance.

Crew came the day they committed. Since the house was vacant, I asked them if they would prefer to spray ceilings, which they jumped at since it saved them a lot of labor. They wound up spraying almost the entire interior. I assumed they pass some of this savings to me, but they did not so I asked them to include exterior windows at no charge. The field manager and his supervisor offered a token discount, so I went to the owner. I explained I saved him a day or two of labor so I would like him to share some of those savings with me. He agreed and they painted my windows outside which took maybe four hours.

My main complaint is about the estimator, Mr. Fox. When he came to give the estimate he told me that I could have all the work done in one day. He promised a crew of 5 would be done before my house guests arrived at the end of the week. He said if I wasn't satisfied with the colors they would repaint. The crew didn't show up until 11 on the day that they were supposed to start. They could only paint one room that day because they didn't have the paint. They didn't tape any of the rooms. They assured me that it would be done the next day. When the crew hadn't arrived at 10 on the second morning and my company was arriving the next morning I called Mr. Fox. He promised it would get done. In the process, they rushed their work. I think they could have done a better job if they didn't feel the pressure to get the job done. They didn't finish in at the end of the day. They put up the wrong color in one of the bedrooms, it was probably my fault to not write the colors for each room.

We used painting pros to come in and finish a job that another contractor left unfinished. It was a 4 day job and the finished product turned out great. Terrible experience with "The Painting Pros." They were never on time and I had to call the office to see when they would arrive, wasting my time. Over priced and the work was shoddy and unprofessional. I have taken photographs of the cracking and peeling and especially the miss matched paint and they are available for review. I had friends over for the holidays and told everyone to look at this mess and urged everyone to tell their friends that this was the work of the Painting Pros.
