Mr. Warren began work at my home in early January. It's nearly July and the problem has not been solved. Yes, I am a fool for working with him for so long, but frankly, I've been burned by so many nuisance wildlife removal folks (at this home and others) that I didn't know who else to call. And I didn't want to start over yet again.

If you have a small, quick job, you will think the world of Mr. Warren. He's polite and timely (at first) and seems very knowledgeable about his trade. But if you have a job that turns out to be difficult, you will be hard pressed to get anywhere with this guy.

As I work and it is not easy for me to get back to meet someone to check traps every day or so, we agreed to a schedule. Mr. Warren was to either email me what was in the traps and what was done or leave me a note on the door. The first couple visits were great. Then one day, I got no note and no email and it was h*** or high water to get him on the phone. Almost a week later and I finally get him and he was really sick. Of course, I was understanding. He promised to be back on schedule the following week.

Long story short, it's been a round robin of him saying he will be coming on certain days, he comes once and then the next time I get no note, no email, no call. Then I can't get him on the phone. I finally had my husband call him from his cell stating he had a rodent problem he needed help with - Mr. Warren didn't know it was my husband and thought it was a new customer. He called back within the hour. Since then, it's been this same scenario, over and over. He says he's coming and maybe he does a time or two and then he doesn't. What rat is going to go into a trap that isn't kept fresh?

I must be a fool for continuing to call this guy, but every time I finally got ahold of him, he was so nice and polite that I thought maybe this would finally be the time he'd make good on the situation and deal with this once and for all. But I also noticed that even after days of not coming, he could never come today...it was always tomorrow or the next day or after he finishes this other job. I couldn't figure out how my job was never a priority. I was always after some other job.

Several weeks ago, after a come to Jesus email, Mr. Warren said he's lost more time and money coming out to check these traps and that he really needed to just go ahead and do a full seal up of the house and that in 7-10 days our problem would be solved. He said it would be cheaper for him to just do the seal up than to continue on this way. So, they come out, they seal it up and came back to check the traps once (they caught one more). After that, he didn't come back. We thought it was finally solved, but in a few days low and behold they worked their way back in. When I finally get him on the phone, he admits that he didn't think the rear exclusion work (the large portion of the rear of the home is open to the crawlspace and a contractor had put wire mesh in place in hopes of excluding the rodents) done by our contractor was proper, but that he'd hoped it was enough. Since they'd gotten back in, he said that would all need to be redone the right way. He said he was coming by to do that and that it would take an afternoon. I thought he came - now after another company looked at it today and showed me how improper it was, I'm not sure if he ever re-did it or not.

After I thought he had come out to re-do the rear exclusion, I was certain that I was still hearing activity and I tried calling Mr. Warren to discuss. I've been calling him now for 3 weeks and he won't return my calls. This weekend, I can hear the rats just running around in the ceiling - there is no doubt they've returned. And, there is no way this guy hasn't gotten my calls.

If the job is beyond your ability or you've decided that you just don't want to do it any more, have the common decency to call me and quit - do not just fail to call me back. That is completely unprofessional. As I said, I'm the fool that dealt with his not showing up when he was supposed to and not returning my calls b/c I was so desperate to not have to call yet another company. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this guy. If your job turns out to be easy, you would most certainly think this guy is the bees knees. But if your job turns out to be much more than a couple visits, you will be sorry. He will not show up, he will not return your calls - and then when he finally does, he'll be so nice, you'll think you're the crazy one, but trust me. He's just going to check out on you.
