Craig the installer did a great job. I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the windows were - i picked window source's mid-tier level window. The day after my windows were installed the first storm of the season (snow, rain & ice) arrived and the windows completely performed as they should. I never realized what in eyesore my old windows were until i had these installed. i cant even tell how the wrapping on the windows improved the look of my house! I would definitely recommend window source & i did to a family member. Also, their quote process was quick, 1/2 hour to get a price. Window Source wasn't on my radar while i was requesting quotes on angie's list but they came up as a recommendation & i can't tell you how glad i am I hired Window Source to install all my new windows. A friend had windows installed by a popular chain & Window Source beat the quality and look hands down! If you are like me nervous about hiring a contractor you really know nothing about - i am here to tell you will be happy you hired Window Source. Thank you window source for making my 55 year old house look new!!!

We hired Windows Source to replace all our doors (4) and windows (20) including 1 large bay window. They also did our entire house in vinyl cedar siding. Our entire home was upgraded by WS. Service was incredible and install was perfect. We highly recommend Window Source.

After 6 months, several windows did not lock. Calls were not returned. It took several calls to get service technician to come out to repair. Several (almost new) windows had to be replaced. The product is poor quality and the customer service is not spectacular. I would not recommend to anyone looking for windows.

Skip and his son Jonah did all the work over a period of a few weeks, due to inclement weather. I cannot speak highly enough of how good they were, I would hire back again in a heartbeat. Hard working, very friendly and professional in every way. On the back sliding glass door, Skip noticed that the screen did not close properly and there was a flaw on the hardware of the door which needs to be replaced. I believe Andrea in their office has ordered said items and we are now waiting to hear when they will be fitted.

From the first contact to the finished job, everything was perfect. They are responsive, professional and provide quality products, The two installers were amazing and respectful. They installed, kept everything clean as they went along, and when they left, you would have never known they were there (with the exception of beautiful windows). We received a lot for what we paid! My husband is more informed about glass than any of the people we had in to give us estimates (he holds multiple patents that are glass related), and The Window Source windows are just as good, ,f not better, than those costing 2 and 3 times as much.

The entire process from the initial meeting with the owner Skip, to installation, to the cleanup, was terrific! Having already experienced some AWFUL sales tactics, and receiving some eye-popping estimates from a few other window companies, my guard was immediately up when Skip arrived for my initial estimate. I was pleasantly surprised to get a real down-to-earth estimate from Skip and a no-pressure sales approach. We signed the contract the next day and within seven weeks, we were getting our new windows installed. Installers Craig and Bruce were incredible professionals and had all but one window installed in two days. The only bump in the road was one incorrectly sized window (one small mistake with a 26 window job to me is quite acceptable). Skip made everything right immediately and had a new window on order within 3 days...it was installed 3 weeks later and looks as great as the others. We chose the triple pane option, and they are of very high quality. In fact, a family member that was previously a window installer himself was very impressed with the window construction and the quality of the installation. Since the installation, our cooling bills have already decreased substantially...and we look forward to the impact on our heating costs this winter. I highly recommend trying the Window Source for your window needs. We intend to call on Skip again when it's time to replace our front entry door. Do not let the low price fool you - you truly get honest-to-goodness sales and service and a high quality product!

The installation of the windows went flawless. Craig the installer worked alone for the first two out of three days of the install. I do not know how he is paid for his work, but it certantly is not enough. If I were to open my own business, he would be the first person I would hire. Craig was prompt, efficient and took great pride in his work, and it showed. The windows look great from both the inside and outside. Would definately hire this company again

good installer, minimal mess. Only thing I would ding the windows for is that the installer could have wiped some of the smudge marks and caulking marks off the window. Also, some of the windows had a little debris inside the windows between the panes. Not really that noticable until you get real up and close.

It was replaced but not by the same size patio door as was replaced. The width of the door was the same but the height was at least 6" less.

Don, the salesman, was pleasant, well-informed and very helpful. We are in a Portland historic district and he provided all the needed material for approval. There was a delay in the installation due to a hurricane in the south. After resetting the installation appointment, the installation was done in 2 1/2 days. The installers were polite, helpful and very efficient. They did have some installation problems with the size of some windows, but contacted the company owner who gave the go ahead to complete their work by the next morning. When finished everything was cleaned up and all questions were answered. The Window Source is an excellent company and I highly recommend it.

We will be utilizing the Window Source again. The customer service, both at the sales side, and whenever I called the office, extending to the installers, was top rate. The windows were installed as explained, and the individuals were prompt, thorough, and cleaned up the site after they completed the job. I had six standard windows installed, as well as a custom bay window for the kitchen. I would highly recommend going with this company. <br />

I was first attracted to Window Source by their comprehensive web site that actually gave a price for their entry level window and included easily understood information at all levels of quality and content. I emailed for a consultation and Skip Longacre promptly replied and scheduled a visit to my home. He listened carefully to my project goals, my budget and offered professional advice on the most practical way to proceed. It was a no pressure sales consultation where I was very impressed by Skip's pride in his company, the quality of his employees and their work ethic. When Skip gave me the estimate for the entry level windows, I was pleased that it matched his actual website advertising. I was also shocked that for only a bit more I could get all twenty-one exterior window frames completely sided and sealed to the new replacement windows. The cost was so reasonable that I chose to purchase a custom built and installed garden window for the kitchen. The complete installation took two days and I could not have been happier with the installers progress through the house from room to room. As each window was prepared, all debris was immediately removed and the area was wiped and vacuumed clean continually. I was especially impressed by the installers sealing of each window installation around the frame before installation and internally and externally after installation. A highlight of the project was their finish carpentry on the garden window interior. The quality of their finish work was so good that I just chose to polyurethane the entire interior sill and frame. The garden window is gorgeous. From consultation, to pricing, to fit, to installation, and professionalism, Skip Longacre and his team have provided an A+++ window replacement experience. As an additional note, Skip honored me with a very sincere presentation of his company's Veteran's discount. Everyone we dealt with at The Window Source of NH was personable and professional. The work was completed on time and on budget. In our experience, no project ever goes perfectly (especially in an older home with lots of surprises), but what matters to us is how any issues are handled along the way. This project went as close to perfect as we could hope, and the minor issues were handled quickly and professionally. There was one issue that related to the delivery of the windows, and they were proactive in informing us about the issue and making sure that our order was completed accurately without sacrificing on quality. <br /> From the very beginning, Skip made it clear to us that he values our business, and he was happy to respond to any questions or concerns we had at any point in the process. After dealing with various contractors on many renovations, we found Skip to be one of the most responsive to our questions and concerns. <br /> Our installer, Craig, worked at a consistent pace (neither rushed nor slow), and he was knowledgeable about the work he was doing. Craig showed respect for our property and furniture throughout his work. While any project of this type will result in dust and debris, Craig made a genuine effort to clean up and to minimize the mess. <br /> Another reason we chose The Window Source of NH is because of their warranty, which is good as long as we own our home and can be transferred one-time to a new owner. We thought this would be a great selling point if we ever have to sell our home. We haven?t had any issues that would require us to use the warranty, but we will update this review if we do. Work went well-- they always followed up-- installment was good-- though it rained the first day and they were miserable...they did plug along. They skipped the next day due to rain but Josh--the install guy-came the day later and did a v good job--v careful and well done-- no leaks --no cracks-- the windows worked v well over the brutal winter-- cost was great and quality of windows seems great so far.
