The Yard Guy

Please read until the end to save yourself some hassle. I previously had hundreds of trees mulched down on my property and needed the mulch cleared & leveled so that I could spread grass seed. Chris said if I rented a skid steer he could get it done in 2 days for $400. I spent over $1000 on a skid steer rental & the first day of the job someone else came out to work the skid steer for 5 hours & finished maybe 1/4 of the job. Chris was adamant about "getting it done" in 2 days but after the 2nd day the job was still unfinished. on the 3rd day he tried to say they were done even though I still have huge pieces of mulch & concrete throughout the property & unleveled ground. Chris's employees stated they don't know why he said this big of a job could be finished in 2 days & that after the 3rd day they needed 2 more days to be done. he now refuses to come finish the job unless I pay him for 2 days of work and reimburse him for fuel. now I am out of pocket for the rental & have an unfinished job that looks terrible.

Knocked down a large part of my neighbors fence, did not repair it as they promised both me and my neighbors, failed to haul away lumber, and when confronted about this, gave us the run around for over a week and finally responded by telling us ‘fix it yourself cheap b****’. Worst possible experience. These are unprofessional scammers.

Please read until the end. The tree got removed but in the process branches were dropped on the roof which concerns me that it damaged the roof. Additionally, a branch broke several slats and the horizontal bar on our wood fence. Chris said the fence would be fixed and the tree hauled off the Wednesday after the work was done. I wanted to pay after that had happened, but Chris was going out of town for Christmas and wanted the check first so I paid him. Nothing happened on Wednesday so I texted Chris on Thursday and he said he couldn't get a hold of his guy and he would do it himself when he got back. I texted a couple days after Christmas asking what the plan was and got no response. I texted again 4 days after Christmas and said I was getting frustrated that nothing had been done yet. I said that this was why I had wanted to wait and pay after the fence had been fixed and the stumps hauled off. He responded "You can fix it yourself, cheap b****".

I hired The Yard Guy to mow my lawn front and back, to clean up my bushes, and trim the front tree. I was very pleased with the precision of his work, especially with my tree. It looked professionally done and not like someone just came and did a chop job. I will definitely be recommending him and hiring him for future work.

I was quite pleased with how my yard was cut. Many times other services will unevenly cut the grass leaving behind an unsightly mess. The Yard Guy has new equipment which did a marvelous job. Even cut, nice trim job, and good cleanup. He also trimmed up a couple of trees with low hanging branches and some deadwood. I agreed with his suggestions on where to cut and what to trim. He made an extra effort to cleanup all the tree litter which I greatly appreciate. Give him a try you may be pleasantly pleased. Thumbs up.
