Greg and his crew were terrific. Stayed in communication throughout. He called me to give a quote about 10 seconds after I hit send on the Angie's List request, and the job was completed in short order. Fair price, excellent work. The job ended up going beyond the scope of the initial quote. Greg gave me what I needed, not what I asked for. Very appreciative.

We worked primarily with Chris who served as both the project manager as well as doing a substantial amount of the work himself.  <br /> I chose Yellow Rose initially because of my interaction with him and his willingness and enthusiasm for our project and criteria.  Our main stipulation was that all original, 1930s era tile and details be kept intact while fixing extensive mold and water damage and replacing fixtures, as well as addressing some poor workmanship that had been done in the past.  What I was most impressed with during the process was Chris's dedication to solving any and all problems and his ability to do so.  There was never any point where I was concerned that the work would not get done or would not get done at the quality level I expected.  The one big hitch was that removing the original shower/tub fixtures was far more time consuming than anticipated (the plumbing was, apparently, also original!), and while this did add time and cost, Chris got it done.  He also spent a substantial amount of time correcting issues with the grouting not being done up to his personal standards - something that, honestly, neither my husband nor I would have ever noticed! <br /> There were a few instances when the timing of the work wasn't ideal, however I have to balance that with all the workers being willing and able to do things like stay late on weekend nights to complete a job that turned out to be more complicated than anticipated.  Another big plus for me was that Chris was really respectful of our home and mindful of our aged, skittish cat - which was a huge relief!  <br /> I feel I should mention that Chris is quite young, but don't let that put you off or concern you.  His professionalism, skill, and dedication shine through during every conversation and interaction - and he's also really entertaining and personable! <br />

<p>Called  them and let them know that my column paint job was bubbly and smeared.  The vinyl installed was dripping water </p> <p>around the exterior and is now showing black marks. Company reassured me the problems would be taken care of but they</p> <p>have not been back. We have very high ceilings in our entry way and great room.  They did a great job with both drywall repair and paint.  Brenda did an outstanding job.  She is very knowledgeable in both drywall and paint as well as many other interior finishing jobs.  She also takes great pride in her work.  She touched up a few things after the first coat of paint because it didn't meet her standards. <br />

They said that they’re going to finish the door, but they never finished the door and they left it without a frame on the outside.  They were responsive at the beginning, but then they started not answering the phone calls.  In the beginning, they used to call me back and then at the end when there was a lot of problems and issues with the city, they wouldn’t call back.

bbThey were the <strong>only</strong> company that called me back and listened to my problem and came the next day and explained everything to me and then explained it all to my husband.  I would hire them again.  Everyone was very polite.  They showed me where the wall needed to be tuckpointed.  Even the inspector came and checked it afterward.  <br />

Jeffrey showed up on time for appointment, the day before. Reviewed damage to roof and gave me a very competitive quote. He and his crew showed up the next day (Thanksgiving!), on time, completing all the repairs and tidying up before leaving.

On our back balcony porch we had rain coming through the ceiling below into the mud room.  Talked to Johnny at Yellow Rose on Monday and he was out to give an estimate the following day at a time convenient to me.  After assessing the porch/roof Johnny gave me several options along with his recommendation which is what we went with.  He called me soon after to confirm that the work would be done the next day and explained my color choices for the new roof.  The next day (Wednesday), Johnny was out with the supplies and materials in the morning (between 8 and 9am I believe).  The guy who was going to be doing the work (I believe Bob was his name) showed up shortly after and then Johnny left.  Bob worked all day removing the old railings, tearing out the old roof, putting the new one on (along with a new plywood deck and drip edge) and then reattached the railings.  He was friendly and cleaned up all of his mess during and after the job.   <br /> <br /> We've been through a few heavy rainstorms since the work was done and no leaks.  Plus the porch looks way better and now we are comfortable sitting out there again.

Yellow Rose was very responsive, professional, and a pleasure to deal with.  A quote was received in a very short amount of time, and we hired them out of 4 different bids.  While they weren't the lowest bid, their quote was comprehensive, and we didn't have a bunch of "added" costs after the fact.  The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time, and they completely cleaned up after the job was done.  We would definitely hire them again!

Prompt and  had good price.  They were going to get the job done in a couple of days.  I was going to use them but ended up having a friend of a friend do the work.

Fantastic.  Shawn was punctual, thorough and very professional.  Really knew his stuff.  They gave me a fair estimate, started on time and showed up with a fantastic and prepared crew.  They finished the job quickly and their work fit in so well with the original architecture, it's perfect. Everyone was very nice, professional and focused on customer service, which is not so common as it should be. <br />

It didn’t go too well. I asked them to come back because I had a leakage around my porch. They didn’t come back to fix that. The paint job was kinda messed up on one of the tillers.

All work was completed in one day.  Team arrived around 9:00am, they were polite and got right to work.  I was a little confused because when the team left there were still materials and debris in the front and back of the house.  Next morning I called Johnny (foreman) and he told me that they had one more thing to do.  Sure enough a workman showed up not long afterward finished the work and removed the debris.  One odd thing, they had to cut some tree and bush branches and instead of putting them near the street, someone hid them between the bushes and my house.  Overall good job, but they could use a little work in the communication area. <br />

d had it fixed The Yellow Rose did everything they were asked to do promptly and always with a great attitude.  When we came across problems with the size of the mantle he suggested several different options.  The crew was careful in our house, but when a window frame got bumped they immediately contacted the window company and had the frame fixed.  They finished in two weeks which I found remarkable considering the work they did.  I would recommend them and would use them again. <br />

The story is already told, I received an phone call & called back. We set up an appointment for a quote. <br /> They came up, gave my wife the details of what they would do & how they would do it. <br /> I received a quote thru the email, compare them to others who just called & did not follow up like they did. <br /> I called them up, went over there quote & came to an agreement. <br /> We made an appointment for the work, they came up & did it, we payed them. <br /> Polite people, great work. <br />

The old chimney was in a very bad shape, causing condensation and leaking water into the attic. I obtained estimates from a couple of chimney repair companies, but did not appreciate their lack of concern when I told them about the water leaks in the attic.  None were interested in examining the indoor problems.  I then called the Yellow Rose, who immediately responded to my call and came in twice to examine what turned out to be a host of problems. Ron and his crew were courteous and professional, and performed the work in half a day. The estimated cost was initially higher than what I actually paid because, when performing the work , the crew found that a small cricket foundation already existed upon which they could build from, and they showed me pictures of the cricket work, deducted about $200 from the overall price, and provided me with a new written proposal.  A few weeks later, and after the attic dried up completely, it rained and rained and gusted for a whole day. Not even a single drop of moisture in the attic. So very pleased with the Yellow Rose and with Ron and his crew!

Rick from Yellow Rose in Dearborn Hgts,MI came out gave us an estimate of $300 that was in line with what the inspector had quoted to vent the exhause to the outside through our roof .  Rick also repaired the PVC vent pipe the builder had just left hanging hich was dripping water onto my upper bedroom ceiling.  This however, wasn't mentioned in the inspector's report which Rick caught.  We asked when he could do the repair, his reply was, "right now, just tell me where the nearest Home Depot is so I can get the necessary parts.  He did the repair, but also fixed a broken door to the upstairs bedroom which I didn't ask him to do.  His reply, "I saw it needed repairing, it wasn't major, so I just did it while I was up there."  He didn't even charge me for the door repair. He said it was so minor.  This is my kind of service person. <br /> <br /> The $300 included all the parts and labor.  My roof is very steep, it had been raining for several days and in Michigan that can be tricky and dangerous, but Rick handled it well. <br /> <br /> Rick was professional, punctual, courteous and pleasant to work with.  We plan to use Yellow Rose again, but will insist that our service be done by Rick.

Ron was very professional. Took his time, did extras that were not in the contract and did a great job.

I would use him again.
