Thor Contracting did not perform the service. The HVAC specialist left the company and works independently. Through the assistance of Angle's List, I was able to contact him and have the service performed. Even though he no longer worked for Thor Construction he honored the special deal. He was very knowledgeable about the system.

Went very well. They first worked to find out why existing units didn't work and provided a clear explanation of the problem with my options to either fix those unit or replace with new. I chose to replace the units and the work was done promptly and well. The units have worked great since the install and I have no complaints. I would hire again.

Very good clean professional ppl work was great very clean installation cheapest price out five different local family owned a/c an heat company's over closed to a thousand dollar difference in price and same equipment that the other five company's offer great family owned business will have Thor do my yearly maintenance on it my family thanks you guys again ??????????

In my experience (for my area) it's difficult to get anyone to return calls let alone come out for the job, especially a small job like mine. Chris came out the same day I called. He was quick and professional. His price was more than reasonable. I was thrilled to find out he did other work in addition to heating and cooling . I'll be using him again for my future projects.

Can't say enough good things. Chris returned calls and was here for the estimate and the start of work when he said. This was a central A/C to Heat pump conversion with new duct work in a tight attic space. They did a great job at a very fair price. It's working great and I am happy with the new system.

Unfortunately there was some additional work that needed to be done to fit the humidifier to our heating system. But Thor put together a good plan and gave us a reasonable quote for the additional work needed. The only negative was that they didn't patch up the holes they made in the drywall when they re-ran the water line. That would have been preferable. But overall, I'm pleased with their professionalism and end work product. I will definitely be calling them again for future work.

From the beginning, Chris (Thor HVAC) engaged in a very professional communication to coordinate a date that was agreeable for all parties. My residence is in a very rural part of WV, off the beaten path. Chris coordinated with me on the day of the service to ensure he had the correct directions and arrived at the agreed upon time. Collectively, he inspected the interior and exterior systems and while he didn't find any problems he identified a potential problem in the distant future and offered several options that will resolve the problem. He wasn't trying to make a pressure sale, if anything he clearly stated the potential problem and identified what I needed to watch out to for, indicating that it would be time for corrective measures. I'm keeping Chris' information for a future heating solution and look forward to the working with him in the future. You won't go wrong with Thor or Chris...money well spent.

We signed the contract on Tuesday and two days later, Chris and his crew were at our house installing the new unit. Both Chris and Shawn were on-time, polite, professional, and helpful. The entire install was done in about six hours. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the product (Amana Heating & Air Conditioning System), the price, and the service. Thor Contracting did an excellent job installing the new unit and removing the existing system. We would definitely hire Thor Contracting again in the future.

The entire process of installing a full Heating and A/C unit as well as running ducts throughout the entire house went quickly and smoothly. The guys doing the installation were incredibly knowledgable, professional, and did great work from beginning to end as well as answered any questions I had in a thoughtful and intelligent manor. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

These guys were great. Right from the start they were very attentive and informative. They came in and gave me a price, and encouraged me to research other providers in the area and make the decision I was comfortable with. I cant say enough great things about these guys. From the beginning they were very attentive and informative. They came in and gave me a price, explained what needed to happen and encouraged me to research other local companies and make the best decision for me. When I decided to use Thor Contracting, they were there making things happen. The whole job lasted only two days...WOW!!! They were very courteous and professional, and not to mention respectful of my home. They laid out dropcloths and kept my things safe. Highly recommend these guys!!!
