It went very bad. The kitchen counter top is missing a support bracket, the trim-work has not been done around the counter top, and the ceiling work has not started. I have already paid for this work to be done. It has been four weeks and they will not come out to finish the work. I have call them numerous times and they do not show up when promised. They tell me they are stuck in traffic, and make many excuses. At this point I want my money back. I will never use them again.

The actual work done seems fine, but this was a painful process which took way too long. we first hired these guys in September to do a relatively straightforward repair abd coating job on our chimney. We agreed on a date they would come and as requested, left full payment for the job since it was going o take just a day or two. The crew came in late afternoon, started some of the work but then it was late and they left, saying thy would come back in a day or two with all the necessary equipment. That began the saga. It then took a full 3 months before the job was complete. In between, there were numerous planned visits, each one of which wound up with the job not being complete due to wet weather, other jobs running later than expected, or not having the necessary ladder/equipment. I found myself constantly poking them via e-mail to find out when thy'd be coming back. The fact tat they took and cashed our check for full payment on the first day made me believe there would be some urgency to complete the job, but there simply wasn't. The only thing saving this from being a completely rough review is that the workers themselves were always friendly, courteous and professional when they arrived.

We recently purchased a home and hired The Three Masons in September to help with various projects including a bath remodel, interior casing work and new construction of an entry way portico. Based on our two contracts there were 20 tasks involved. Three months later 15 of the tasks have either not been started or not completed. The most costly of the projects included construction of a portico for our front entry way. The portico was to be built exactly to our architects design specification. The Three Masons spent a week building the portico but it wasn't built to the specification. All the major support elements were missing including the four L-straps which connects the vertical house wall to the wood brackets, footings for the support posts, and the ridge beam support. Visually, the gable returns differed in height by two full inches giving the portico a leaning look. Even the trim work was improperly installed with mismatching mitered ends and offset bead board. One of their employees tried to mask the fact that they didn't use a solid piece of trim over the front door by placing a keystone cutout over the split in the trim pieces. When we asked John, the owner, about the installation of the L-straps he told me that they had been installed but when we removed the support posts they were actually missing. Once we bought up the issues to John everything stopped. No one returned our phone calls, no one showed up to complete the remaining work, We could barely get a response from the office in email and when we did it was all false promises of John calling or stopping by which never occurred. Last time we tried to leave a message his message box was full and was no longer accepting new messages. It was 16 degrees the other night and we had a hole in our roof to the attic for which I had to stuff with insulation to keep out the cold and animals. Due to abandonment, we had no other choice than to hire someone else to replace the structure and have it built properly. Almost a month later we have had no contact and we have still not received our sizeable deposit for services not rendered.

Was very happy with the work. Did everything that was in the quote. The people who worked on the job were professional and explained what was being done. Job was done in a timely manner. Cleaned up after work was done.

The guys from Three Masons showed up and were already setting up when I was told to expect them. I talked with the guys a bit on the work to be done and showed them the different locations for fixing the clapboards on the house. The quickly took care of the issues and everything has been great since. One thing that had been happening in the past when a windy storm came through the area that the clapboards would shake and make a noise. All of that got fixed with the work they did. They then went on to fixing up the molding around my front door which had rotted and install the extension setup needed for my storm door. They were quick and everything was installed nicely. We did a quick tour around after the completed all the projects and I paid them the final payment. I was very happy with the work that was done.

Booked job for 8-9AM but no one showed. I called, they said they would come at 1, then at 3, they showed at 4:30. They didn't finish and said they would come back first thing the next morning. Showed up at 2:30 with no phone call. Said they would give me a discount for the inconvenience but never did. Terrible customer service.

John and his team were very professional and they went the extra mile to customize and setup/install my LG Dryer and LG Washer. They have to cut and redo my dryer vent and setup the LG Side-Kick with the washer. The result as extremely clean and beautiful! They did an excellent job and I will hire them again on my next project!

We just had a project completed by the Three Masons! We had started residing the house this summer, but time and the weather got away from us so we called the Three Masons to finish siding about half of our house. They were great! Showed up on time and put in an honest days work. They gave us a great estimate, were friendly, and cleaned up after each day! They were friendly, did a great work, and very helpful! Even working in the bitter cold and rain, they did not miss a beat! One day we went grocery shopping and they finished bringing up our groceries without being asked! We definitely plan to use them for future projects!

The work was continually interrupted and not continuous. I was told they would return and they would not show up. I was held hostage at the house because they would say they were going to come and not show up. There was constant rework because of the poor quality of the work. What should have been a 4 day job max dragged on for 1.5 months, 2hrs here, 4 hrs there, multiple no shows. I finally told the contractor not return and will have the work finished by someone else.

They seem to do excellent work, from what I can tell, and they are attentive, observant, considerate. I am giving them a B on punctuality only because they sometimes show up later than expected, etc., but they have to juggle a lot of jobs at the same time, so I am not convinced that it would be humanly possible to predict their schedule more accurately than they do. I would (and will) hire them again.

Was very pleased with the work done by the Three Masons, first day they came right on time and the work they did was great. Had some scheduling issues due to weather but they were responsive with their follow up. If I didn't hear from John, I heard from Stephanie with follow up steps. The crew was punctual, courteous, and very considerate. The repairs look wonderful, and I could not be happier with the result. They even oiled a sliding door panel that was sticking. The office was also very helpful and easy to deal with. I have already recommended this firm to a friend and will be delighted to use them for future projects.

These guys are great. We had a number of small things to do around the house and they did an excellent job on all of the work. Very easy to work with. I set up an appointment by email to get a quote. John came out and made us feel very at ease about what had to be done. He had a number of suggestions that were very helpful. The quote was reasonable. Work was scheduled a few weeks out. Joey and Sean came and did the carpentry work the first day. Excellent work, they cared about doing things right, cleaned up when done. John came out the next few days to do the electrical and finish work. Again, excellent quality. He found a few other things we needed and took care of them right away. My only regret is that I didn't find Three Masons 10 years ago. We have a 50 year old house that is in very good condition, but still always needs repair and updating. Its always been hard to find someone competent to do these small jobs. From now on I will only use them for this work.
