They did a great job for a fair price.

wanted to give credit where credit is due. We - me & my wife - decided to remodel one of our investment properties. It needed a lot of work ( roof, exterior & interior paint, drive way, floors, kitchen, bathrooms and of course plumbing and electrical ). It was a lot of work that was way over our budget based on the estimates that we had from 8 contractors. Until we contracted with KO Remodel. We made an appointment with Max who stopped by with 3 of his crew. It took them a couple of hours to come up with an initial estimate that we were able to accept. Let me tell you guys, at the end we were happy with the job. The cost was within our budget, the time to finish the project was reasonable. We gladly do recommend Max and his crew anytime.

They did a great job. We worked together and came up with a good plan and they executed everything perfectly.

Our entire house had severe termite damage. They work with reporting damages to insurance, moving out and back into the home all while doing a great job on the repairs and remodeling. . We know have a wonderfully updated home free of all termite damages

After having to fire a previous contractor for extremely slow work that was awful, KO came on board having to redo some work and finish the entire job. KO was very fast, extremely dependable and saved me a lot of money because of their well placed vendor connections, efficient workmen and artisans, and expert advice. I could not be happier with the work done. I will not use anyone else in the future!

Hi, To cut to the chase, Max from KO Remodeling came in after making the appointment ON TIME. Me & my spouse expressed the look we we’re going for. He spent time explaining to us how to achieve our goals like a professional Project Manager ( as far as the materials, time to expect, the cost and the stages). He was thorough. Even getting rid of the waste was done perfectly. He recommended a couple of places and met us there which made it easy for us to choose the colors and materials. He even used his discount with the supplier and applied it to our invoice! The project started on time and was delivered on time as we agreed. The end result was as promised. My wife was very happy with the crew and even made them lunch a couple of times to show our gratitude. I honestly can say that Max/KO REMODELING was the best choice for our project and I will recommend him to anyone. Omar X.

The team that they came in was all professional. Did a great job, very neat and clean, the work was perfect and I was very pleased. They were top notch. I like the way that when they started a job, they made sure to complete it within the day and the manger would stop by and check on the job to make sure that everything was all handled right.

They are very punctual, They were on time, I like the guy because the communication was good with my wife and my wife was very happy with them. The job was good and the pricing was good, I would recommend them to anyone. The staff were friendly, they also speak other language, very clean and neat, very professional. The safety is number 1 for them when they are doing the work especially when I have 2 young kids in the house.

I am extremely pleased with the work performed by Tile Zone and their installers. Everyone was very professional. The workers showed up when expected and they were respectful of my home. There pricing was reasonable compared to many other places. I am glad I chose them and I plan on using them again for a master bath remodel before the end of the year.

They have remodeled our tub to stand up shower. And we really love it. We have selected the white marble look tiles from Tilezone and the guys have installed them. We love love our new mbathroom

The experience was excellent. He could not have been more helpful and I would definitely use them again for any flooring need. Their price was reasonable compared to other estimates we got.

<p>I was nervous with this deal because they came out with really basic tools, but they did a gorgeous job with it. They did it with a hand wheel and did everything by hand, they didn't even bring a tile saw. It's gorgeous. You would never know it was done this way. You can tell he is good at what he does. </p>

We had a couple of hiccups with them. I wouldn’t be going back with them. The granite was over a week late. They kept delaying when they were supposed to come and when they came out, the granite was the wrong size so he had to end up getting a new one and come in again the next day. When they finally installed it, they actually chipped some of the tiles and backsplash that were already there. It was a mess. I think their pricing was fair. I always had to call them to find out what was going on. People said they were good but the installer that we happened to use wasn't very good.

Tile Zone replaced 750 sq. ft. of flooring in our kitchen, living room, breakfast area, laundry room, and 2 bath rooms. In addition, they adjusted 3 doors and replaced our wood fireplace surround with tile. We chose 20? tiles laid at a 45 degree angle. <br /> They received a poor rating because the tile is not flat and level and they did a poor job on the fireplace. They did adjust the doors to our satisfaction. <br /> Tile Zone has 3 locations in the Houston area. We purchased our tile flooring from Rico, at 13326 Westheimer. In our first conversation, I informed Rico that I was an Angie?s List member and I would submit a review. <br /> They started the tile and carpet removal on Monday. They left the debris on our driveway in front of the garage until Wednesday afternoon, only removing it after we complained for 2 days. On Saturday I called Danny (the project manager) to inform him that our only working toilet was leaking. He said they would take care of it on Monday. We turned off the water supply after each use. They stopped the leak on Monday.  <br /> I did not let them place the t-molding between the tile and wood flooring because it was not stained, it was not wide enough, and the crew cut it crooked. <br /> When I paid the final bill we had a disagreement about 18 square feet of crack suppression membrane that they placed. When I had the conversation about adding the membrane with Danny, we did not discuss the price. At the end of the job, Rico asked me to pay $25.00 per square foot. I offered to pay $3.00 per square foot, based on a previous bid from a different flooring contractor. Rico was offended by my offer. He told me to pay nothing for the crack suppression. <br /> <br /> <br />

They were easy to work with, we bought the tile and they did a great job installing .

DO NOT GIVE MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE. THEY DO NOT CARE AND THE WORK IS BAD <br />

Kyle is absolutely fabulous and was very, very, helpful. He wants you to get want you want and works with you. He's very price competitive. He showed up when he was supposed to come and when they were supposed to bring the flooring they brought it. When I walked into the showroom he had this little tiny shower made out of this glass tile and I loved the tiles and knew that was exactly what I wanted for my backsplash. My granite is black and my backsplash looks fabulous and it turned out better than I ever thought. The granite guy came to checkout the job that they did and said the backsplash looked fabulous and wanted to take some pictures to put it on his website. Everybody loves it that sees it.

The work on the floors, tubs and showers was very good. The fireplace looked great when finished. They never told me they were not experienced in fireplaces so I had no reason to believe these professionals didn't know what they were doing. We didn't move into the house until mid-December 2005 and we had a mild winter so we didn't use the fireplace hardly at all. We had some mild winters in 2006 and '07 as well. In January of 2010, after having a pretty cold winter and having used the fireplace quite a bit, the tiles started crashing to the floor. These were marble, ceramic tiles purchased from them as well. We have now lost approximately 20-25 tiles because they were improperly installed and could not withstand heat! The grout started separating and the tiles loosened and fell off. We haven't used the fireplace since and I made numerous calls to the manager/owner, SAM SAMARA, and he never would return my calls. Finally, I managed to catch him and he told me to send him my invoice which I did and of course he never called back. I called back several times until I caught him and then he said he had a 90 day warranty (Absurd!) and he will not fix the fireplace or refund my money. He refuses to accept any responsibility. He never mentioned a warranty when we contracted with him, and there is no mention of it on his invoice. We didn't move in until after the 90 days expired anyway. A fireplace should last more than 4 years! This is not mechanical, for Pete's sake. No motor to wear out. No parts to go bad. Just bad workmanship. I hired an attorney and she sent him pictures, and he told her he had a 2 year warranty. What happened to the 90-day warranty? Basically, he said "TOO BAD". He won't even come look at it. Now he won't return her calls. It would probably cost him $200-300, if that much, to reinstall it and save his reputation but now that he has a VERY UNSATISFACTORY BBB RATING, he has nothing to lose but his business (and he can always open another one under a different name). Please DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE CROOKED. I understand he owns the used car lot next door to Tile Zone on Westheimer and operates it the same way. He'll sell you a bad car and take your money and won't refund it the next day when the car falls apart. We WILL be taking him to court.

The new counter tops that were installed are dark marble. They were difficult to install because they have different dimensions than the old counter tops and are rather heavy. Everything Tile Zone did was done well except that in the process of sanding the tiles down after installation, one area was sanded too vigorously, and now it is dull in that one spot. All of the workers, however, were extraordinarily nice, which made up for the mistake somewhat.
