Called back the same day and two huge tree limbs 30 feet up in the air damaged by a storm taken down the day they said it would. Tree less than 10 feet from guy wire holding a pole up across Rt. 6A and difficult to get to. They were professional, left what we wanted and cleaned up the right of way to boot! Used them in the past and will use them in the future when the need arises. Good People!

Tim's team arrived on time. We reviewed what needed to be done with Joseph, the foreman and chief arborist. The Basswood tree to come down was covered in lichen and wouldn't leaf-out. It was close to the house, and they couldn't use their bucket truck, so they had to climb it. The tree was systematically dismantled and the limbs and trunk were ground up. They pruned a very large white pine whose limbs were over the house and threatening. The limbs were ground up. Afterward, the crew raked up the debris and used a leaf blower to finish the cleanup. Tim's team is professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. We will definitely use them again.

I got him from Angie's List.  I liked him and I think everything worked great.  He came out and we did a detailed work down the yard looking at what should be done.  I was concerned about some of the big trees because of hurricanes so there were some trees that I wanted taken down and some I wasn't sure to take down.  He just gave me a lot of good advice.  He took down two really big oak trees which were right next to the house and trimmed two other big trees that were next to the house.  I really didn't want to lose so he didn't just cut of branches but he kind of cleaned them out so that they weren't so compact and so that wind blows throw them.  He trimmed all the branches of some oak trees at the back that were hanging over the deck.  He ground three stumps from trees that I had taken down as well as one that he took down.  The price I thought was reasonable and right on.  They came; they were very efficient and cleaned up very well.  They were friendly and did a great job.  I recommend him to anybody.  Somebody else that used his service on Angie's List said he didn't call to tell them know the day he was coming.  I asked him to call but I also told him that we don't leave cars in the driveway because it would block it and they did not call to let us know which day they were coming but just showed up.

For the past 28 years my husband has handled all the tree and yard work for our 2.3 acres. This past year he had shoulder surgery and can no longer do the work. We called several companies for estimates and felt quite comfortable with Tim Baker and Sons. (He was not the least expensive but we felt we would get quality work done.)  The 5 guys that came and did the work were great and finished just when they said they would. My only complaint was the lack of a phone call to schedule the work, the workers were given the slip and just showed up. I had specifically asked Tim to call me the day before to arrange it. They would have gotten all A's if he had done that. We certainly are very pleased and would call them again. The estimate quoted was just what we paid and the yard was left very clean and neat. I took many pictures but don't see a place to post them.. <br />

Had a contruction project with critical scheduling of tree removal so foundation could be poured. They arrive on time and do the work as quoted. <br />

Monday, I had a few contractors stop by for an estimate. I don't usually decide on a contractor based on price. Tim Baker was very responsive in getting back to me, and when he arrived I was impressed with his professionalism. His service offered the most value so I decided to go with him. They showed up on Thursday and took down the tree real quickly. They ground the stump, and as a professional courtesy they ground a few other stumps in the yard. They did everything I asked, and with such efficiency I couldn't be happier with their service. I would recommend them to anyone. Great crew! Great Business!

He was excellent. His price was $400 cheaper than any other quote I got. He did a great job. He was very efficient. He came right out, gave me the quote and told me he would come the next week to do the job. He came out when he said he would and he cleaned up everything.

They had a contract that somebody they contract out to them to come out to do my trees and he was going to fertilize the trees. So I was having big heavy tank full of fertilizer on the truck. He went into the yard and I had a big track in the yard that was soft. He could have driven out little better but it just irritated me as I had to clean that up. So that started right off that I was upset about him and that was the driver. I liked the office staff and the person who took care of the telephone as he was very professional.
