We had our roof replaced with architectural shingles, incorporating a solar fan and ridge vents. We are happy with the outcome, but did have some complaints about the workmanship initially and the professionalism of the crew. Only one person on the crew spoke english so it was very hard to communicate. Also, the crew did not initially install the ridge vent system or the solar fan correctly: My husband had to show the crew how to do it (either they didn't know or were taking short cuts). The foreman was very derogative towards my husband but when we talked to Tim Bates about it, Tim immediately made sure everything was corrected and apologized for the foreman. Overall, we are happy with the roof and the price, but feel the crew should be trained in proper ridge vent and solar fan installation and also feel the communication barrier was problematic

I had a great experience with Tim Bates Roofing. They did an excellent installation of the architectural roof shingles from Owens Corning. Tim Bates came out and went over the proposal with me and he showed me my choices of colors and shingles. He went over the replacement skylights I would need and discussed the solar attic fan with me.
The crews came early and worked until it was dark they kept everything cleaned up and neat around my house and yard, protecting my plants and picked up any derbris that fell off the roof. The crew was professional and friendly.
Our new roof is beautiful and we are so happy with it. I will call Tim Bates Roofing for any future roofing I might need.
