The agreed-upon scope of work was: reduce height of laurel trees/hedge (HUGE) by 10 , cut out large trunks and branches within the hedge and haul everything away. We have everything in writing via emails and texts. This work is FAR from done! He did not finish trimming the height from the top of the hedge - because he admitted that couldnâ t reach with his regular pole saw and ladder. He could not reach the top of the very tall hedges in order to trim the top of them all, so he told me he ordered a saw extension so that he could do the work properly. That never happened. He also did not finish cutting out the trunks and branches from the inside of the hedge that we discussed and also marked with flags. He left several large limbs teetering on the top of the hedge, which will likely fall down during the next heavy wind. There are many cut branches and trunks within the hedge, as well. They did not even complete the haul-away. He required me to pay the full amount before he would agree to come back and finish. I went against my better judgment and did it, and wish I had not. He repeatedly promised to come back and finish our work, but has just disappeared into thin air. No responses, has not shown up, nothing. I finally got one reply from him to a Demand Letter that we sent him, wherein he promised to refund us in full ASAP . That was a month ago, and have not received a response or payment from him after more of my calls and messages to him. I even sent him PayPal requests to make it easy. Nothing but broken promises which left us without a large amount of money, and a much bigger mess than we had to begin with! Not to mention the endless hours I have spent making contacts to try to rectify this. This has really been stressful, as well. I also contacted the Landscape Contractors Board and found out that they are not licensed to do much of anything. They have done lots of unlicensed work in our neighborhood that I am aware of. At least the Board has them on their radar now, for operating without a license. In spite of all of the time and frustration we have experienced, this is my first public review of them. I have held off on reporting anything negative, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and hoping Favid would come through on his promises. I regret that, as well. This situation has been going on for almost 3 months now, and we have exhausted nearly every avenue to work this out with them - now I am filing with the Better Business Bureau. If nothing comes from that, we will file with Small Claims Court. In the very beginning, when I interviewed them at our site visit, I was excited to work with him. I do not know what happened, but what a stressful mess this has become! Unfortunately, I cannot come up with anything positive to say. We do not have any more money to pay another company to come out and finish the work, so now our backyard is not only in disarray, but dangerous because of all of the large cut trunks and branches throughout and on top of this huge and very tall hedge!

I hired them to work for a full day. They arrived late (without contacting me) and only worked for 2 1/2 hours. They said they would return at a later date to finish the project. I have called and emailed many times over the last few weeks and I get a message that they are unavailable. I would NOT recommend them.

Very professional and hard working. Dave did a great job on a knurly hedge removal. A very nice man.

They responded promptly to our request and came the next day to evaluate what we needed done. They completed the work in a timely manner and the work done far exceeded our expectations, we hired them for biweekly yard maintenance.

On the first service, a $40 charge was added to my bill that was not previously discussed. This was dumping fee for hauling away the yard debris which was grass and weeds. My Yard Debris receptacle could have been used instead or he could have told me there was going to be an additional charge. For the second arranged service date He showed up for a 10-minute mow of my small grassy space but did not touch any weeds. There was no charge for this. The third appointment was a no show. When I emailed to find out why I got a response that said it was a miscommunication and he would be on site the following day. He again did not show up the following day for this appointment and I have had no communication from him.

The project very good but they didn't clean up all that they did and that is my only complaint they did a very good job of what they did do I would hire them again

They went out of their way to help me in the time I needed the job to be finished. I appreciated that.

The guys at Timberline were prompt, responsive, and great to work with! They did an excellent job on our front and back yard and we are hiring them for more work. Definitely recommend.

These guys are the best. Nice people, great work and very affordable. My yard became a disaster area after I got to the point a few years ago where I couldnâ t keep up with its maintenance. I was really ashamed to have it looking so neglected. The Timberline guys came by, and transformed it back into a very respectable yard and garden. I will definitely call them back in the future.
