First time I worked with Tim he did a good job, but this time was awful. My kitchen floors needed repair and refinishing. I came home to a huge hole in the floor and where he had patched was just a cut out square of wood pieces. Not feathering or blending or staining, just a big patch. I explained that the floors had to be feathered in to keep the original look. Because there's no sub-floor Tim tried to feather in small pieces but it didn't work. I stepped completely through the floor. Long story short, for $1,000 he sanded my dining room...that's it...a space that's maybe 10 x10. Now I am paying a new company to come in redo the dining room, add sub floor in the kitchen and replace the wood. If you only need sand and polyurethane you might be ok, but I wouldn't risk it.
Response from Tim Bradley Quality Floors LLC
"If I had known his house did not have sub floor I would have not tried to just repair the floor, but replace it as he is have done. I spent $210.00 on heart pine flooring alone."

Tim did an excellent job with the install and took what I consider an appropriate amount of time to complete the instal.
Tim and his associate were able to come in and install the tile in a short time window and complete the job at the agreed budget. The work looks great and will definitely have him back to do tile work in the master bath.

Was able to start project earlier than expected and worked continuously until it was complete. Huge difference before and after.

Tim and helper started on 4/19 at 3:30 p.m. tacking and removing any tiny paint spots left by the finish painters. Started first coat of finish around 5:30, and finished at 7 p.m.
Tim only came back at 8:30 a.m. on 4/20, and finished 2nd coat around 10:15 a.m. Came back at 2 p.m. and finished the third coat by 3:30 p.m. Told to stay off floor for 3 days if possible to allow for total hardening.
Floors look absolutely beautiful.

The floors were sanded and refinished as I expected. The house is old and some areas had water damage. He did a very good job minimizing the damage. Only one area did not totally clean up...that was not his fault....the floor was too heavily damaged to clean up completely. One thing you need to consider if you are going to refinish wood floor is the dust. I recommend you have this done when the house is empty if at all possible. He does try to minimize the dust, but it's almost impossible to get it all. You WILL have sanding dust when the job is finished.

Scheduled to start Monday however was not able to begin until Tuesday. I did not receive a call letting me know of the one day delay. Floors were sanded and stained by the end of the week and the finish was applied the following Monday and Tuesday.
A couple of pieces of wood had small flaws. I wish that these pieces had not been used. I did not notice until contractor was gone, but there were three marks on walls (which had just been painted) and a chunk of sheetrock knocked off in a closet. Otherwise, the quality was fine. Price was affordable....and area was cleaned.

Tim was recommended to us by a neighbor who had used him. He came by soon after we called for an estimate. He gave us a great quote and we lined him up right then to do the floors. The whole process for both rooms took 3 days. We were able to put furniture back on the floors on day 5. Overall, a very good experience.
