Overall, Tim Hogan's delivered once again. There were a couple hiccups in communication as the tile installer wasn't properly equipped to remove the existing hardwood in the location, then when the wood installers did remove it trying to work over each other. Outside of that, the crews did a great job again. This was our second purchase with Tim Hogan's, and we'll likely be using them again once we replace the rest of the flooring.

It went very smoothly. We were given the expectation that the tile take up would be time consuming and messy. Indeed it was. However, once the tile was removed and the floor prepped, the hardwood was installed in one day. The installer came back the following day to install the quarter round and transitions. It turned out beautifully. I think what impressed my wife and I the most was the excellent finishing work they performed.

They put down carpet and laminate, and they did an excellent job. The last day they brought in extra men to make sure everything got done correctly and quickly. I was very satisfied.

After a bad experience with EMPIRE TODAY I called up Tim Hogan's to do the job. They came out with samples and I was very happy with the sales person. I scheduled an install and they came out when they said they would and did a great job! <br /> The price was very good and the installation went very smooth! I'm happy and even though I'm writing this review late after the fact, I felt like doing so because when I bought my new (to me) house I called them first to come give me a quote! Hopefully soon I'll be writing yet another good review for them as the last time went so well!

<p>Solon Freeman came to my house quickly to give me an estimate for replacing carpet in 3 bedrooms. He brought samples and was very knowledgeable and professional. I was able to get my carpet installed the following 2 Saturdays. The installers arrived about 15 minutes earlier than scheduled time, had me check carpet to make sure it was what I ordered, and began moving my furniture. They were very careful and really knew how to move it without any damage. They pulled up old carpet and swept floor before installing pad. I asked them to also sweep after pad was installed and they did. After carpet was installed they vacuumed it. The furniture was placed back where I wanted it. They helped me place covers on my mattress/box springs. The same men came the next Saturday. So, they installed the other two bedrooms doing everything as I had asked previously. No mess was left anywhere after both installations. Great customer service!</p> <br />

The tile that I selected for my kitchen renovation was a special order. It was important to know when the merchandise would arrive, when the installer would be on site and the time it would take to complete the project. All work was completed within the estimated time frame. I was advised when the merchandise arrived at the business, the installer was on site as scheduled, completed the job when promised and did a fantastic job. The company owner made a personal visit to evaluate the project to ensure that I was satisfied with the quality of the work. <br />

After ten years, the builder grade carpet that our shady home contractor shoddily installed when he built our home was in desperate need of replacement. It was bunching up in spots, wearing in others, and even had stains where the wood floor installers got glue on it around the doorway. It looked terrible. I searched Angies List and found the Tim Hogan was rated very highly and luckily they were the closest to me as well. I went in their show room having not a clue as how to buy carpet, but a fantastically patient sales associate named Amy (?) walked me through the different types, piles, pads, etc. I felt no pressure from her at all. She came to my house and measured the room and gave me a quote that was more than reasonable, and brought the samples back out so that I could see then with my new paint colors. She helped me select a fantastic carpet with a great warranty, that I hope lasts for a whie. The installers came a week later and had the job done in less than one afternoon. They hauled away all the old carpet and mess, and even replaced my old furniture back into the spots it had occupied. Overall we are very pleased. <br />

After scheduling a 8am appointment manager decided on day of install to do another carpet install in my time slot. His decision was made without informing me. Making installers arrive at my home 4 hours late. Finishing late evening. Manager also lied when I called to complain. Also Light fixture was broken by installers. Untrustworthy operation.

"I am very sorry that [removed member name] is unsatisfied. His carpet was installed on December 23 the day before we closed for the holiday. We schedule are jobs before 12 and after 12. Our crews arrive at our store between 8-9 and then procede to the job. I appologize that he was told 8 am. We did complete a job that morning and then went to [removed member name] home. The salesman [removed member name] spoke to was not aware of the crews schedule. [removed member name] was upset and wanted a large discount for us ariving late unfortunately we were unable to give him a large discount since we had already discounted his price and the carpet was sold based upon an empty house and [removed member name] had began moving in over the weekend resulting in us incurring additional costs which normally would have been charged but were not resusting in a savings to [removed member name] of $450. [removed member name] was satisfied when the job was complete and paid his renaining balance in full. I appologize for the poor communication and have made changes to address that this does not happen in the future. I work very hard to provide the best service posible and am deeply saddened when we do not achrive that goal. The most important thing is that [removed member name] carpet was installed on the day promised and installed properly as shown by him paying the COD in full. came to work on time, removed and hauled away all old carpet and pad. installed new laminate,trim and quarter round. cleaned up all mess. everthing turned out excellant. very glad we had the work done. the salesperson brought samples and explained all the differences. <br />

The entire process took a couple of weeks. The carpet only took a day. The stairs took the longest - about a week or two. The carpeting was very straightforward - the crews were on time, professional, and did good work.They got in & got out. I was very impressed with them. On the stair part of the job, there was poor communication between sales and labor as to what the job entailed. We had some issues with proper paint and getting the stairs to look right. The laborers weren't painters - they didn't know the difference between oil based paints and laytex paints; we had both types on our stairs. The salesman had to get a professional interior painter to correct the paint job on our stairs.

"We installed hardwood stairs and risers in [member name removed] home. After the stairs were installed the trim on the sides of the stairs needed to be repainted. This is not something we normally do however since this was not communicated we agreed to paint the trim but not being professionall painters we matched the paint with latex rather than oil based paint. At that time we hired professional painters to complete the painting. I appologize for any inconvience and now if there is a painting issues we use professional painters."

Very professional salespeople....no one is pushy, they simply tell you the best carpet for your needs and budget. Everyone was on time for their appointments (measurement for quote and installation). I liked how we didn't have to wait weeks for installation. I told them which date worked best for me (which was the following week) and they put me on the books. There is one thing I think the installers can improve upon....when they brought the new carpet out of the van, they unrolled in in the driveway, but proceeded to continue to walk on the new carpet with their workmen shoes as they went back and forth to their van for tools. I know carpet is made to be walked on, but it was a bit awkward for me to see my new carpet being walked on while outside. With that said, they still did an outstanding job and I will use them again. <br />
