Tim's Handyman Services

Excellent work. Worked with Tim and distributor for glass panel/frame type. Tim was recommended by Rystin Construction (Henderson NV) -- who I found by looking at door manufacturers and they were listed as a distributor for a few door manufacturers. After discussion with both parties, I could just change out the glass panel vs. the total door. I have 3 more doors with same panel types to be completed. I am very happy with door, having him do more work and will recommend him to others. He also repaired a loose tile in bathroom, was able to reset with grout I had. Overall, very pleased. He is very busy with other jobs, but worth the wait.

I'd give him an "A" overall and across the board.  He did everything I wanted him to do.  I'd use him again.

Tim and Mike came by and did an awesome job and his estimate was right on point.  I even through in few extra dollars and they were nice enough to breakdown and remove a bookcase from me that I was unable to get down the steps.  <br /> I hope to hear from him soon because I plan on changing out the stair railing on the wall and some upcoming electrical. <br /> Thanks Guys <br />

When I called to make an appointment, Tim returned my call right away.  Told him that my front door had leaked water in the house the last rainfall we had and the baseboard near the front door needed replacing.   Also, I was hoping he could seal the front door and possibly look at my gutters to see if he could determine why the water was just pouring off, splashing on the ground and hitting the front door and coming in the house from underneath the door.  I was hoping they just needed cleaning. <br /> He made the appointment two weeks later and said he would be here at 8:00am.  He called me two days before the appointment to confirm he would be here, which I appreciated. <br /> On the day of the appointment, he called me at 8:30 and said they were five miles away and he needed to get gas and would be there soon.  By 8:45am they arrived, looked at the situation and said they would be back.  One hour later, they were back and had decided to place a gutter on top of the gutter I already have to stop the water from hitting the front porch.  I also asked if he would clean the gutter he was looking at.  Within 20 to 25 minutes, they had placed about three feet of gutter on top of the gutter already there, replaced the 21/2 foot baseboard and vacuumed the two gutters.  I had asked him if he would seal the front door to make sure the water does not come in from the bottom again,  He said it didn't need it.  <br /> Without making sure that what they did with the gutter worked, they handed me a bill and left.  <br /> Because I have a condition where I am unable to walk very well, it took me a few minutes to really check things out and clean and repair some things.  I was not happy and called Tim within 5 minutes.  I told him that he put a dent it the gutter that I originally had.  He said the next time I call him out for a job he will try and fix it. <br />  I guess I am stuck fixing the front door.  Have no idea if the gutter is going to work, but at least the baseboard looks good. <br /> <br /> 7/6/2014 <br /> I need to update since we just had some rain.  Gutters that Tim put on top of my already there gutters did not work.  After paying Tim $190.00 for a small piece of baseboard and their using my caulking, I will have to get someone else out here to fix the gutter.  I would always make sure to get someone who is licensed from now on.  Needless to say, I am very upset.

Like others, I found Tim on Angie's List. I got lucky - called him Saturday morning, and by 10 a.m. he was here. (I had earlier sent him a message via Angie's List but never received a response. I had also called him Friday & hadn't received call back, hence my Saturday call. So only a slight downgrade for responsiveness - but he IS busy and for good reason.) Within minutes, he had correctly diagnosed the problem with both toilets. Luckily, he had the parts for one - otherwise, I might have to wait until May when he had time to come back. Someone tried to force my slider door open, which bent both metal door frame as well as caused crack in wall. He said he could not bend metal back - I'm just going to leave as-is. He caulked door, and I will paint it later after it dries. He was fast, no nonsense and I liked him. Will definitely use again. Price reasonable too. Now my landlord knows about him too & he may get business from him as well. <br />

We found Tim on Angie's List and couldn't be happier. He is great at what he does and takes action. Tim has a two week wait list because he is so good but he is worth the wait. Tim came to our house, assessed the job and quickly replaced the toilet. He also changed out lighting pictures, touched up or walls and fixed the floor in our guest bath (on prior visits and at additional costs). He is professional and solution oriented and we love him! <br />

I'm glad I consulted Angie's list before hiring a handyman.  Tim was the highest rated handyman on here and he deserves every bit of his rating.  He made two trips to our house.  On the first, he fixed a door that was sticking; our back door.  I had also wanted him to fix the front doors (metal) that were sticking too.  However, that was not really possible because we had some cracks in the door jamb that I had not noticed.  He showed me and explained that he needed to replace the doors, casing and trim.  I also asked him to put down new thresholds for the front and back doors.  He called his door supplier and gave me an estimate that day and put me on the schedule for 12/27.  He's a very busy guy (because he's so good), so scheduling is a bit far out.  It was worth the wait. <br /> On the day he was scheduled to work, Tim and his associate showed up 15 minutes early.  They were very kind and courteous.  We didn't even talk about what to do with the old doors, so I just thought I would wait and see what happened.  They demoed out the old front doors and hauled them off (put them in the trailer while they finished the job).  Then they installed the new front doors which we had ordered.  They are fiberglass and very nice.  Much quieter.  Tim installed the new hardware we had purchased, the peep hole, which the door company had forgotten to drill and the new thresholds, both front and back.  He even let me pick out the trim for the new front doors. I went with his suggestion between the different styles and it looks AMAZING!  They did a SUPER job cleaning up.  No construction debris anywhere, the only dust I found was on the door, but I'm guessing he didn't want to attack that with a Shop-Vac because it would have marked it.  No biggie, I wiped it off with a cloth.  If Angie's List had an A+, Tim would get one.   <br /> I have flipped over 30 houses in my former life in Kansas.  I never had a tradesman or handyman with Tim's skill level or depth of knowledge.  He would have made my life a lot easier in the old days.  We will hire him again next time we need something.  Just thinking I have a couple of stuck windows he could fix...   <br /> Tim's Handyman Service, in Henderson, is the BEST!  You can't go wrong with them.  Don't hesitate.  Call them first. <br />

They were professional, fast and on time to do the work. They will be back on Thursday to replace a kitchen sink. I would highly recommend their services.

It went very well.  He was totally responsive to our questions and gave good suggestions.  He returned my calls promptly and was pleasant and friendly.  The paint job looked good. <br />

o were going to charge me 3 times what I paid Tim.Tim was very professional and brought Justin (or maybe Dustin) with him.  We agreed I would pay him for 8 hrs labor regardless of how long the jobs took. This was to ensure they weren't rushed and my jobs were done correctly. It was my idea since I had a lot of honey-do's to complete.  They arrived on time and started with finding a leak on my tile roof that caused water damage during heavy rains.  After 1/2 hour the leak was found and repaired. The roof was put back together. They then replaced a 4 X 4 piece of drywall, texture and completed. GFI's were next then help with moving furniture.  They showed up at 9 am and were done by 3 pm.  I was extremely happy with them as people and the quality of their work. I would use them in a heartbeat again whenever I am in need of some help.  I received several bids from roofers and drywall experts wh <br />

Tim and "helper" came on time, got right to work. Came back next day within an hr. of calling him that fan wasn't working right in L.R. old remote was faulty. I bought a new one, Tim replaced it.

Tim is always on time and professional. He normally comes to give an estimate before each job. Getting on the schedule is the only problem, as he is always booked up. He never leaves the job unfinished and he is professional and quick. I will continue to use him in the future. <br />

Tim and Justin arrived close to the agreed arrival time. Previous job had a glitch. I told them what I wanted and they got right to work. I had some specific requests that they were able to accommodate while installing my blinds. They didn't waste time but completed each project and then moved onto the next. After not hearing back from another company, Bond Heating and Airconditioning, who I  had left 2 messages for, I called this company <br /> on 4/25/13; it was after hours so I expected to leave a message but, Tim answered the phone. He and his worker, Justin, came out the next day, even called me to let me know they were on the way...very considerate and impressive. They installed the thermostat and left. I shall use them again if need be and recommend them to others. <br /> <br />
