Removal of dead trees and large limbs went o.k., but clean-up was less than satisfactory. I filled a fifty gallon trash container after they left with small branches, etc. Communications between the scheduler and Forman on the job was poor since the Forman didn’t know about the de-compacting , so crew wasn’t prepared and had to come back with the right equipment. I also inquired about trimming and shaping of shrubs and the Forman asked me to contact him for a quote. A couple of days later, I called, asked for him and was told that he was no longer with the Company. I was told that the owner would come and provide a quote. Two cancelled appointments and one no show with no call has prompted to write this review.

It was a difficult job plus they were hampered by rain but did a good job. Nice guys on the crew. Good job on cleanup. They felled two trees in some very tight areas. One tree was leaning 45 degrees and the other was a split tree that grew twisted. Big crew and plenty of equipment. I give them high marks.

Crew arrived at the designated time. I discussed my expectations regarding the trimming, mostly involved removing lower limbs and thinning the canopy. The result was exactly what we discussed. I am very pleased with the results. I highly recommend Tim Young Tree Service.

Tim Young is an angry, spiteful, bitter man who spews bigotry and racism. He wanted the world to know how much he hates anyone that isn't white, conservative, and Christian. So now I'm telling the world. I would never feel comfortable with him setting foot on my property again.

Excellent. Tim was able to come out and provide an estimate to trim some trees away from our home that was touching our roof. They were able to ***** our property needs and also advise us of future tree work that would need to be done in the future. We definitely plan to use Tim Young Tree service in the future as we have bunch of tree on our property.

DID A FANTIZATED JOB

Everything went according to plan. The employees did their jobs. However, months later, the owner of the company saw my husband on the street in the neighborhood and in a blind rage, out of control, began screaming and banging so **** ** the side of his truck I thought he would dent it. He yelled obscene and shocking profanities about Mexicans, about immigrants, about African Americans, about Obama, about liberals. He used language I have never heard in my life, not even in movies. I think that if we had made any aggressive gesture, verbally or physically, he would have moved to hurt us gravely. I was afraid for my life. This came out of the blue. We paid $8,000 for the two trees to be felled and removed in our back yard. Sadly, my husband knew the owner 10 years ago. They were friendly. The owner had agreed to cut down a small tree in front yard of new house. We had not heard from him since. Because of this gesture, we had hired his company to do this new job. We were surprised by the aggressive behavior. Be careful.

Nate and a team of 6 showed up on time and had the tree down and yard cleaned within an hour.

This is the 2nd time that I used Tim Young Tree Service and the service was great again. You can trust them to take down large trees.

I had three trees removed and one trimmed up. Service was done timely, cleanly and professionally.

Jeff Hutchins was the certified arborist who met me the day after I contacted the company, and he was prompt and very helpful. He reviewed the situation with me, created a plan and estimate on the spot, and added the Angie's List discount without me having to ask for it. They were able to get to my yard in less than a week (delayed only by strong storms), and did a great job. They were professional, responsive, and cleaned up thoroughly. And my interactions with their office were courteous and customer-focused. I would use them again and recommend them to others. I have seen other reviews that said they were less expensive than many of the other companies, and I found that to be true as well. Just make sure you are comparing to a local company with an arborist, and not someone travelling through the neighborhood from out of town.

They did an amazing job!! They arrived exactly when they said they would, and made sure to call ahead to let us know they were on their way. It took them about 30 minutes to remove both trees, and they cut them down far enough that the stumps are flush with our grass so everything looks nice and neat. They also picked up all of the mess and even used a leaf-blower to leave our yard looking better than it did when they arrived. I'm extremely happy with the work they did and I would definitely hire them again. I also have to give kudos to the office staff who was extremely helpful and fast with their responses and even gave us some information on the best place to get replacement trees. Overall a really get experience!

The job that this company did was absolutely fantastic. When they finished all the trimming, they did a great job cleaning up the areas. I could not believe this was our house. It was absolutely the most beautiful work that I have ever seen.

These guys did a great job and their cleanup is A!!. I will be hiring them again for a larger job of limb removal and pruning.

Great! They came for the initial visit on time. The work was scheduled in a timely fashion, then performed as scheduled even though it was a nasty, rainy day.

A group of about five men drove up in three large trucks, introduced themselves and went to work. Skillfully, they cut down the two large magnolia trees and dropped them without harming my house or fencing which were in close proximity. The dead limb was removed carefully so that my neighbors garage and our shared wrought iron fencing was not damaged. The truck of the downed trees were cut close to the ground. Clean up of leaves, wood chips and saw dust was very good.

It went well. All debre removed , response to request was good. Everything done in timely manner.

These guys are professionals and were the best price of 4 quotes. They took down a huge limb overhanging my roof VERY carefully and safely. They even did a little extra trimming for me. The crew went out of their way to clean up my yard and even raked a good portion of my beach. The two owners were on the job and both were up in the trees. They are pros. This is one of the very few contractors I would unequivocally recommend.

They were quick to respond, the workers were extremely friendly and hardworking. I am going to hire them again to do a little more soon.

The initial walk around with Jeff went well. The initial visit was for removal of a Bradford pair that was too close to the house, but we found another smaller tree and some sapling that needed removal and some branches removed over the garage. We also discussed stump removal by a different company and spraying to be coordinated by Tim Young. The spraying was for shot holes in the leaves on an unidentified tree (box elder?). The work done by Tim Vincent was excellent and timely for $1747.50. An extra $175 was to be paid to Brandon Parson Tree Stump Removal and spraying by Sniders. Things fell apart and weeks went by before the stump was ground. The original delay was supposed to be to have someone come out and mark the water, electric lines. When we called after a few weeks to have the stump ground and the subsequent spraying, the line marking occurred within a day and everything went quickly, suggesting Tim Young dropped the ball. I then got a call from Jeff of Tim Young telling us the shot holes in the leaves were from fungus and not an insect and this was not life threatening to the tree and they no longer recommended spraying. Thanks for that correction instead of spending another $275 needlessly. Overall, this was an OK experience. The tree removal was first rate and so was the grinding of the stump. There was no urgency, so the slippage in schedule was at most a minor annoyance. Tim Young staff were courteous and helpful for every stage. I'm sure if timing were important, I could have called earlier to hasten the overall process.

Great, team did a beautiful Job, could hardly tell they had been there they did such a great job cleaning up

It went extremely well. I was very sensitive to the fact that this tree was in my backyard, which had just been recently seeded and had new grass. I didn't want large equipment back there. They came in on foot, removed and cut up the tree, then removed it by hand from the backyard and left me the mulch. I was very appreciative of their consideration. They were quick and efficient.
