They promised to provide good service. We had agreed upon what would be done and the material prior to 09/05/2014. They said they could do all of it under the Big Deal I had purchased through Angie's List. They did not show up when they were supposed to. I had to pay more than what was agreed upon. They started out so professional and then backed out on what we had agreed upon. Very unprofessional and very frustrating. I would not recommend them to anyone. They did not even do the work themselves, They hired outside of their company. The workers told me they were charging me too much. The people that did the actual work were wonderful. But this contractor was horrible.

The site visit went fine but there was no followup.  The Angie's deal said they would prepare plans.  For $50, I wasn't expecting much but it seemed like they lost all interest when I expressed interest in moving along slowly rather than a big project immediately. <br />

They were good. There was an issue initially in the scheduling. But other than that everything went fine. The gentleman who handled us was very informative. He knew his stuff and emailed me the print of what he has come up with and with his suggestions. I have no complaints at all about the company.

Okay.. Diagram was provided by contractor not architect. Nothing very special.  He was professional and trustworthy, but I didn't feel the results were very creative. <br />

They did a good job and had some good ideas.

The service did not go so well. He left the door to his vehicle open indicating he did not plan on spending much time with me. He did not seem professional at all. I feel like the guy sent out was part of their regular crew or very knowledgeable about what I needed. He was only out for about 10 minutes. I never received the design or plans that I had purchased. I had no problem scheduling the deal, but I feel like I did not get my money’s worth at all.

Terrible, never again with this company.

I set up the appointment with Jeanette, who was incredibly friendly and pleasant each time I spoke with her.  Unfortunately I don't recall the name of the gentleman who came by to discuss our yard options, but he was throrough, knowledgeable, very friendly, and was an excellent listener, hearing what we wanted to do rather than pushing ideas of what he wanted to do.  He was also willing to propose different options based on our budget.  I think we will be looking at using Turf Terminators to transition to a hardscape, but I would absolutely love to use Tip Top once the hardscape is in place for some accent landscaping.  It was a true pleasure working with them! <br />

This 1-hour backyard landscaping consultation was helpful and gave us a better sense of our options for improving our drainage, retaining walls, and vegetation. We ended up deciding not to pursue further landscaping work at the present time, but we may do so in the future. <br />

The original appointment had to be rearranged due to the provider falling ill. On the new day he turned up on time and was friendly, professional and helpful. There was a big gap, however, between the cost to implement the plans he came up with and the amount of money I had for the project. This meant there never any chance of our doing business together but the provider did leave me with a sketch of how my yard could end up looking. <br />

It went well. He spent time with me providing a blueprint of possibilities for my exterior landscaping. He was at the home for about an hour to an hour and a half. The only problem with the experience is that we had to schedule/reschedule. We scheduled a month in advance, and he was sick and couldn’t make it. They called me up and asked if I could come immediately (the same day) and I wanted to stick to the schedule we’d set up the 2nd time. It seemed a little unprofessional.

It didn't go too well. The sketch was of very poor quality and done very quickly. He said he would get back to me with plan samples, but he never did. It was more advertisement than service.

They came by an hour late twice. Their estimate for the project was 2x higher than other bids. They made me feel that my project was not big enough for them to do. He did have interesting ideas, but when I asked for the bid on the project, he became frustrated and a bit aggresive. When I declined to have them do the job, I started recieving phone calls from other contractors to do the job and do not appreciate that. They did come back a third time with the owner of the company, and provided a more accurate estimate and told me the original person who I delt with that provided the estimate had since been laid off.

At first David Cohen (Project Manager) was very professional and on time as he listened to our exterior renovation wish list. He was very knowledgeable in terms of sketching a draft design using his laptop and creating a mock up of our vision.  After we were complete, he promised he would deliver me the the drawings and official quote so we can move forward with finalizing our different price options. Let's just say months have gone by with constant follow ups with the PM and back office only promising me they will send it to me soon and that they were super busy. I was very patient, however it came to a point  that their delay diminished my trust in them,and I was at a point I just wanted to get my $49 dollar refund and move on (since they never delivered any drawings or written price). The request for refund, lead to more weeks of follow up with their back office yielding more frustration by promising they would call me back, or that they already sent a check (which I never received). They even played the same game when Angie's List when I escalated to have them send me  the check again.  4 months later, hours of my frustration and $49 dollars out of my pocket I'm still at a point, which I'm hoping Angie's List can fix. <br /> Its also frustrating when businesses run these deals and they can't keep up with the demand and at the end it hurts the members and their reputation. <br /> Pros: <br /> - They seem very knowledgeable with projects <br /> Cons: <br /> -Their back office is very unorganized (lack of follow up or accountability) <br /> -Lack of honesty. If the job was not enough for them to make a lot of profit on, just be honest and I'll get another bid. I felt like no matter how interested we were with with the PM on the plans, he put our project on the back burner. <br /> <br /> <br />

I wish I had read yelp reviews before I signed up with company.  This being my first time in dealing with contractor, I should have let a person who understand contracts read mine before I signed it.  Things I thought I was purchasing turned out to not be a part of contract.  Example, I wanted pocket doors for bathroom. Contract stated " stall pocket doors".  I thought that meant  purchasing and installing doors were part of contract.  That was not the case.  It meant in addition to what I paid for I  now had to purchase pocket door and frame.  I thought shower fixtures were part of remodel, not in contract so those were items I had to purchase. <br /> New sink and medicine cabinet installed by contractor were new but cheap.  My old sink and cabinet cost more than what was installed.  Sometimes I had to go to home depot with workers to pick up parts for them to do their job.  It took several inspections (2 or 3) for the electrical to pass inspection in the bathroom.  The finished product  was fine but getting there was too much of a problem and to much out of pocket spending.  Trash and debris were hauled away in timely manner.  Workers (C & S) were courteous and professional.  This experience has taught me to let a knowledgable person read contract before I sign one in the future. <br /> I wrote a progress review in September that stated everything was coming along fine.  Soon after that things did not remain fine.   <br /> AGAIN MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THE CONTRACT STATES AND IT IS WHAT YOU EXPECT. <br />
