I paid for the services, then had a personal issue that prevented me from scheduling for a long time. When I did get in contact with him I asked if he would like to refund me or do the work. He said he would call me to schedule the work. I have reached out numerous times via text and email to check in about scheduling, and he always said "I'll let you know when I am in your area." That was in March, 2019. It is now September, 2019.

He doesn’t stand by his work, won’t return phone calls and won’t come and fix any problems that arise from his work.

I had purchased a pre-paid special for one room to be painted for $125 through Angie's List. I have a very difficult work schedule and had to continue to pursue TJ Brown company to get a time scheduled. When the date arrive to have my room painted, the person assigned to paint the room did not have his painting supplies. He also stated he did not know what he was there to do. I had to provide spackling compound as well as sandpaper. Thank goodness he had a ladder, drop cloth, and paint rollers. I was very disappointed in this company. I would not use them again.

Very professional work performed. Neat, cleaned up, finished on time. Tom was very prompt with communication and ensuring our needs/requests were met.

The painter was professional and skilled. He did a full 8 hours worth of work. I will have them come out again.

He was always easy to reach, got back to me immediately and was here when he said he’d be. Very professional and cleaned up afterwards. Fantastic job!

Job ran smoothly, it was completed in a timely manner and the finished result was excellent.

Although prior to the day of service we walked through the job and got confirmation from them the job could be completed, on the day of service we were told the work couldn't be completed in the allotted time. I wanted to pay for additional hours so the work could be completed but the workers left without informing us they were leaving!! I was sitting on the deck and when I went inside to ask them the cost for additional hours, I discovered they were gone! No goodbye, no "sorry we couldn't finish the job," NOTHING. They packed up an left without communicating with me or finishing any of the rooms. I was left with three rooms partially primed and the trim in my living room and dining partially done. They never called to follow up or anything. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL and a waste of time and money.

I am very happy with the way the painting turned out. I had walls, ceilings and trim painted and all was done professionally and to a high standard. My painter, Tim, made sure everything was clean before leaving. Great!

He came on time muddled the walls not even a hour since I agree to get the painting done he said we will finish sanding when we come back to paint. I should of never of did that cause the mud and sand job is awful. They did good painting but it doesn't matter cause the mud and sanding looks bad.

I used the Angie's List special for this company: $199 for 8 hours of work. Mr.Brown called frequently to schedule the work. The painters and he arrived at the appointed time. Two painters. He and the two painters and myself carefully went over the work I wanted done. Mr.Brown indicated that the estimated cost would be $250 more. They went ahead with the painting. The two painters worked for 6 hours; a third man came for 3 hours. All up, I paid $30/hour per man. You'd think at that price I'd have hired expert painters. Far from it. The quality of work was very poor. I supplied very high quality paint from Sherman Williams. Areas to be lightly sanded due to minor drywall work due to new ceiling lights were never sanded. Just painted over, causing a bigger problem now. Baseboards to be painted were never touched. Ceiling to be painted was left half done. A window sill was not done. A heater covering for hot water baseboard heat was not done. These areas were specifically pointed out and agreed to at the start. Mr.Brown rushed in at the 6 hour mark, grabbed his men and left. When the paint dried, and I had a chance to inspect, I called Mr.Brown. He said he'd get back to me and send someone over to fix things. This never happened. Despite several more calls to him, no one returned, and neither did my money. These specials on Angie's List have not worked for me. I have tried others. Never again. I think the advertisers are desperate for work. No customer base due to their hit and run method of doing business. Stay away!

I scheduled a 9 am appointment with the owner on my day off. At 9:30 am I called to check his status. He apologized that he forgot to schedule me and offered to reschedule on his next available day. We scheduled on a Saturday. The schedule mix up was horrible and ruined my weekend but I wanted the work done ASAP. The painter came and did a good job. He was on time, pleasant and did most of what I asked. He said I should paint the doors in the summer. He filled some holes, taped and painted for about 6 hours and took one break. The deal was 8 hours of painting for $199. He was helpful with paint suggestions and overall I am pleased.

Both rooms were painted in one day and I liked Tim's work so well I hired him back to paint more rooms. His work was very professional. He cleaned everything up nicely. T. J., the owner worked with me to set up times which worked into our busy schedule. I have been very satisfied and have recommended this company to my friend.

Poor workmanship. Paint on door handles. Paint on windows. Paint runs on walls. Left tape on wood trim and on door handles.

They were extremely professional. The were responsive, and made sure all of my needs were taken care of.

Job was estimated, accepted and scheduled within a few days as requested. Workers arrived as scheduled, were very courteous, efficient and did a great job completing the work in two days. This included moving the furniture in the rooms to another room to make space to complete the tasks and then putting it back when they were done.

Purchased an Angie's List deal, 8 hours painting for $100. They arrived on time and did a good job painting. But oddly, they left when finished without saying they were finished (I was home in my office) and didn't take the deal certificate or leave a card or anything.

They did a terrific job on all rooms. They were punctual, friendly and they got started right away. They cleaned up afterwards very well. I might need their services again soon. Tom Brown was awesome!!??????

Their painter met with an accident in the day he was to be at our house. The owner called promptly to explain the situation, and rescheduled for the next day. (Which was a Sunday). Their painter, Tim, came out, was very personable and very efficient.

Great installation and painting. Damaged an antique mirror which the owner would not take responsibility for, since had hired a subcontractor. Apparently, he is not bonded.
