Once paid completely, he never returned. He repaired inside water damage and supposedly fixed a roof leak. He did a good job plastering. But with the next rain, the roof still leaked and I had inside water damage again. He promised repeatedly to fix everything. But he never returned. He never even finished cleaning up his mess and even left a heavy trash bag on the curb that I had to dispose of. I had to pay another repair person $1950 to reshingle the foyer and repair inside damage. This is after I paid Mr. Miller $2650 for the work. He promised to refund my money but has not done that. Despite what he promises, Mr. Miller will not guarantee his work. Beware.
Response from Tjm company
"It is really unfortunate that this situation has happened. [Member Name Removed] hired TJM CO to repair his plasterwork that was severely damaged. This job was 100% complete. Not only was it complete , but it has been posted on the website for all to see for themselves. TJM CO. Is not a roofing company and Will not take the responsibility for a leaking roof that a different company installed incorrectly. Also [Member Name Removed] has already rated Tjm co 5 stars. We have met his frustration is met with empathy, discounted his cost from $3000 to $2650, and advised him to contact the company he hired to put his roof on and or the realtor who sold him the home that was not to code. TJM HAS POSTED THE FINISHED PLASTERED FOYER ON ANGI ADS FOR ANYONE INTERESTED TO VEIW THEM. ****Please note, Tjm co was hired by [Member Name Removed] R. Only one time through Angi ads and it was a humidifier water line which was given a five star rating. [Member Name Removed] did not use Angi ads in this transaction"

I spoke with Mr. Tim Miller (TJM) Company on Sunday 3/10/2024 through text message after receiving his response to me on the Angi website messaging. He asked that I message him on his personal cell phone which I did. I sent him photos of the work that needed to be done and we had a phone conversation later that evening. He told me he has a vacuum sander and there would be very little mess and sounded very professional. He agreed to do the three rooms for $1800.00. He agreed to start the job on Monday 3/11/2024. On Monday he showed up with his little brother and his brother’s friend who he said were his helpers. They were to finish the first two rooms which were 3/4 way completed already then, he was to move into the last room where he would hang and finish that room with drywall panels, mud, and so forth. On Monday I sent Mr. Miller $600.00 through Zelle to start the work. I was to pay him another $600 when he hung the third room and the final $600.00 plus tax when the job was completed, which he agreed to. Monday and Tuesday I saw very little work and he kept saying he was waiting for the drywall to be delivered, but no drywall ever showed up at my home. On Wednesday night when I got home, he told me that the first two rooms were done and that he was planning to start the last room, and the whole job would be completely finished by Friday 3/15/2024. When I arrived home on Thursday evening after all of the drywall had dried in the first two rooms I could see all of the mud in chunks all over my walls. No outlets were finished and there are lines in my ceilings and walls showing the actual drywall under it. I should not see this. My electrical plugs are hanging out of the walls all unfinished. I am missing a chunk of the drywall on the bottom corner in one room. From the start, I explained that I wanted the ceilings to match the rest of my home (knockdown texture) which he said he could do and stated, "I am experienced I can do whatever ceiling or texture you want, no problem." The ceiling he added to my house looks like a child did it in one of the rooms. The other room which he also told me was completed, in this room, her took a paint roller and rolled drywall on the ceiling and told me it was ready for painting and that he was done. In this room, the wall outlets are hanging out of the walls and the drywall he put on the walls is not sanded. He added so much mud to the walls in both rooms that I now have to pay someone to complexly sand it over because it is uneven. On Thursday 3/14/2024 he told me he was just picking up the drywall himself. He bought a few pieces of drywall maybe 2 sheets and that was it. He then started on the third room on Thursday. The work he started looks like a complete mess. In this third room, he took a few panels of drywall and hung them on the ceiling. He did not attach it to the studs as screws are just randomly placed everywhere. The screws are not in far enough and it could fall if left this way. He then took huge piles of mud and attempted to mud the seams of the drywall. It looks like a child did this work. When I saw this, I knew I could not allow him to continue this kind of work in my home. Furthermore, he left a huge mess in my home even after I explained that I had children and animals here and asked him repeatedly to please pick up the drywall and any mess and to stop dumping mud water in my yard right outside my back door because my dog was eating the chunks of mud. He also left drywall dust all over the rooms where he worked. He left drywall nails all over the place in the third room and chunks of mud on my furniture. He did not use any kind of drop cloths. I have drywall in my carpets that now need to be professionally cleaned which is around an estimated additional $400.00. I put old sheets over my furniture because I knew he was careless based on the work in the first two rooms. He never showed up to start working when he said he would and only stayed for a few hours once he got here. He would send his helpers (his little brother and the brother's friend) to my home but according to him they were here to only clean up and help him. The two boys did no cleaning up whatsoever. After working all day I came home to clean up after all of them. They not only left drywall and drywall screws and mud everywhere including on my carpets they also left pop bottles and trash. They also kept leaving trash outside of my back door where my dog roams. Every day he told me that drywall was going to be delivered but that never happened. Everyday the job he did got worse and worse. He told me that the entire job would be finished by Friday 3/15/2024, but he didn’t have the materials and he didn’t stay long enough to complete the work when he was here. I had two professional drywallers come and give me their quotes to fix this mess that I have now. They both were in disbelief at the work that was done in my home by Mr. Tim Miller (TJM). They both pointed out what needed to be fixed, and what was done wrong. I now have to pay to have the work corrected. They both told me this work that was done does not look like it was done by someone who knows how to do drywall. In the third room, Mr. Miller did not even remove the ceiling light fixture and just cut a very uneven rigid hole in the drywall around the ceiling light. Thursday evening, I spoke with Mr. Miller and told him I could not allow him to continue with this job and asked him to come and get his tools the next day 3/15/2024. He agreed to be here between 10a-12p. I also sent him pictures of the concerns I have with his work. On Friday 3/15/2024 I sent him a text message and asked him to come at 1:30p instead. I changed the time because I did not want to be home alone when he came here. He never responded to my text message. On that Friday 3/15/2024 he sent his little brother and his brother's friend to pick up his tools. The boys took as much as would fit in his car. I sent Mr. Miller another message saying the rest of his things were on my porch as I could not wait for him any longer, but he never responded. I also asked that he refund my money. I also sent him pictures of his belongings on the porch. His things are still on my porch, and I have not heard from him. After our correspondence on Thursday 3/14/2024, he has not responded. His things are still here and today is Monday 3/18/2024. I would like my money back ($600.00) and an additional $600.00 because I now must pay someone to fix the damage that he has caused. I also want the cost of having my carpets cleaned (estimated $400.00) since they were not damaged before he started this job. I have photos of everything and will be happy to share them with you.
Response from Tjm company
"Miss [Member Name Removed] contacted me in regards to a job involving drywall. She requested my service as soon as possible because someone before me walked out on her or she stopped. She wanted a job done. I explained to her that I was started another project and that I would get done what I could but I may have to come back if it runs into my project already scheduled. She paid $600 of 1800 I asked for the next payment because her balance was at $1,300. She asked if she could at the end of the day and I agreed. She then informed me that she was not happy with what it looked like. I then explained to her that the job was not complete. I explained to her that you can’t cut half of someone’s hair and expect it to look good. She then informed me that she had now hired a 3rd person. To work on the project l. Personally it looks like a classic scam of skimming contractors with small payments. I am now out $1,200 from materials and labor. I would like to get payment"

Tim did an excellent job in repairing our line to the April air humidifier that another company repaired and rigged it basically. Tim knew what he was doing and was very polite and professional. We are using him as our handyman to fix a couple of other things around our house. He came out the same day as he was in canton already doing a job and we appreciate him stopping by to fix the line at the last minute.

Tjm Company did such great work! I won’t ever go to anyone else for my home repairs and remodeling. Tim is the owner and he has very fair prices and does great work every time! I had a lot that needed done and had a tight budget to work with and he was the one who quoted me the best price! He got the jobs I needed done in a timely manner, and also made sure to take his time. Everything done turned out looking so good, if you are looking for any exterior or interior repairs/remodeling Tjm Company is hands down the place to go!
