TMCM Construction

They never did the job and wouldn't refund us the money. They didn't really do almost anything and they walked off the job and left us in an awful situation. They also got verbally abusive and wouldn't refund us. They did paint a couple of rooms, but the quality was so poor. I could have done a better job.

The painter was good, he knew his craft. However, owner did not make it clear that the square footage was wall space, not floor space. <br />

<p>Not having a general contractor in place, I needed someone that was easy to work with, and of course delivered quality work at the right price.  I purchased an Angie's List deal from TMCM for complete interior repainting, and prior to the paint job, I included them on 1 of 3 estimates I farmed out for extensive repairs to the interior walls (mostly plaster, some drywall) that were torn up from replacing the electrical system, and general old age (cracking) .  TMCM proposed a very fair price for the wall repairs, so I hired them as well for the additional work.</p> <p>The end result was fantastic - I feel like I have a new house on the interior.  Plaster repair was top-notch, and the paint job was great too.  For all the little "things" (requests) that pop up in the course of an extensive renovation, TMCM was easy to work with and for all these reasons, I'll recommend them to anyone, and keep their number for future work.</p> <br />

Painting was not completed as desired. Many incomplete areas with paint splashes and spills on floor (the latter was cleaned up by their cleaning crew when I complained). Painter was let go and several others were asked to complete the work but none did a great job and still many areas not completed. I stopped the process and will finish it myself. <br />

Workman show up at 9 a.m. We talked about what we wanted done, I am sure he already knew but wanted to make sure we were on the same page as his info. Layed tarps down and started the demolition. Moved electic and put in the ceiling electric. Dry walled off the walk in area and then reversed the door to open outward. Patched seams with joint compound and left for the day. Back 9:30  next morning, Finished up putting molding around door and checked to make sure joints were finished properly. Hung new lighting fixture. Cleaned up and took trash out to the back.  <br />
