T M General Contractors

Provider came out some time in September / October - I don't recall approximate date. We purchased a drain cleaning deal via Angie's List. Provider arrived to clean the drain as scheduled. Since they were primarily a general contractor, and not a plumber, they didn't have all of the same tools that a master plumber would have. They snaked the drain, and it was fixed for a couple weeks. We eventually sought out a full-service plumber who was able to fix the issue. The provider that came was friendly and professional, but since the service was outside of their area of specialization it wasn't the best long-term fix. <br />

I called the company and asked (begged) them to come out the next morning in advance of yet another anticipated heavy rain. They were kind and came by that night to take a look at the drain.  I had already purchased a $140 coupon that was good for 50ft of snaking, but when they came by Friday night, they estimated that it would be another 50 ft of work, so they would charge an additional $160.  In retrospect, I should have pushed back on that.  What sense does it make that an addition 50ft would more than double the price?  But I accepted because they could do it quickly, I had already purchased the $140 deal and I desperately wanted the water to stop coming in. <br /> They were there first thing Saturday morning to snake it the drain.  It turned out that they had rented the snake (said theirs was broken).  Well, this snake was broken, too, so they left and returned with a new snake.  To their credit, they worked for HOURS in the pouring rain to try and clear the drain, but to no avail.  In the end, they said that the pipe probably needed to be replaced. <br /> I appreciate their responsiveness and their really hard work and general kindness.  I was a little uncomfortable that they didn't seem to have their own equipment, didn't know what coupons they had up on the website, said the coupons were incorrect, and then charged more than double the price of the original work. <br />

<p> M General Contractors did an excellent job on my cooling system!   The price was good compared to the other quotes that I received for this large job.  The contractor was professional and very experienced.  When contacting TM General Contractors, I spoke to Ted Miles.  He was able to come out and evaluate the job and provide me with an estimate the same day.  He was prompt in evaluating the situation and offered me several options to consider in order to complete the work that I requested.  After reviewing several quotes, I decided to go with  T M Contractors because Mr. Miles seemed to be very experienced and provided me with a good quote.  Another plus was that he showed up on time when he came out to evaluate the work request and provide the quote.  On the day the work was done, he showed up on time, had protective drapes for my carpet, did a great job of installing the new new system  and replacing the pipes, explained what he was doing, provided a tutorial on how everything works and cleaned up the debris. He called the next day to assure that everything was working to my satisfaction and to inquire as to weather I had any questions.  I will recommend TM General Contractors to my friends and relatives because I am completely satisfied with the work performed, professionalism and the customer service provided.   </p>

He cleaned up after himself. He also gave me some recommendations about my tub in order to keep my drain clear. He made a commitment to be here and kept his appointment. He also made sure I was satisfied.
