Brian was phenomenal to work with! The project was completed in a very timely manner, the quality of the work was wonderful! Our porch remodel was everything we hoped for & more. We are so pleased with the final product! We will most definitely use TNT for future home projects!

We wanted to update our deck from wood to Azek. We called around to find someone for the job. We had several estimates but Brian with TNT Builders was very clear on what he would do and his prices were much more reasonable. Brian and his team were very friendly and did an outstanding job. I thought I could do it myself but when I look at the final project and I see how closely they paid attention to details, there is no way I could have done it like they did. I will definitely use TNT Builders for my next project. I highly recommend them for your deck or any construction project you may have.

I hired him initially to extend my front porch and then build a deck. He did okay, a lot of what he told me he was going to do he didn't, it was mostly minor stuff. The deck itself is solid and nice. I then asked home to come back and do part 2 which was to enclose the deck and he came and gave me an estimate and then he bailed right before work started. There was no money exchange but it messed up all my plans because by that time it was the middle of the summer. This is why I feel he only deserves a B rating.

It went great. Brian was great. The work was done in a timely manner. Very professional. All materials were removed from the job site. No cleanup for us! Yeah! Love our bathroom and laundry area!

The project went amazing! My wife changed her mind 1/4 way through on the design and Brian came through with flexibility and solutions. We are hiring Brian again to remodel our kitchen! I would highly recommend Brian if you have any remodeling needs.

Bath remodel went great. Work was completed on time and final product looks phenomenal. Professionals took care to put down drop-clothes and clean up every day in which they worked. We were consulted on every detail. Brian and the tile professional worked with us on design to make the ideas in our heads become reality. TNT also partnered with us to contain costs and save where possible while still delivering a top-notch job.

Showed up when he said he would. Removed all old wood. Deck looks good and feels more solid. Completed job and did a good job cleaning up when finished.

The results are fantastic, and we love our new deck. I would definitely hire Brian again for similar projects. I had the general design of the deck and patio in mind before we started. Brian helped us decide on materials (mainly Azek vs. Trex), and he did the detailed plans and ordered materials. The main bulk of the work was done over about three weeks (with a few rain delays). He has a regular crew that he works with (not random day-work hires). Communication was occasionally a bit lacking, but no major issues.

Everything went well. It did take them about 2 weeks to complete. Everything is beautiful and I love it. Their bid matched everyone else's bid and the quality is excellent. I definitely recommend them.

Brian could not have been easier to work with.  He and all of his employees were very professional (and skilled!)  <br /> He was very committed to doing a good job & we are very happy with the result.

wonderful. we had a deadline and Brian came in with it. i purchased all materials, but Brian did all the running, thank god. my wife kept coming with little extras along the way, but Brian never batted an eye. Kevin and John of Brians crew were exceptional as well. all the subs he used did outstanding work as well 2 code plumbing, Oster hvac, Justin did the electrical, Bob of A1 tile did the tile work. Brian is also finishing my pantry, paint, tile and trim. I would definitely use him again or recomended him. <br /> Barry Skeens <br />

I HIGHLY recommend Brian / Tnt.   Very prompt, attentive, logical and realistic with good ideas, works very well with the County processes.    <br /> If you live in Lake County IL, you probably know how sketchy/unreliable most of the contractors are. <br /> So, you should do yourself a favor and call Brian / TnT who can do it all, big and small.  <br /> <br /> <br />

We got an estimate from TNT and a couple of other decking companies that were comfortable with Trex material. We went with TNT because they had an opening in October (others were out to December), and their pricing was a bit lower than the others. Brian and his crew came out right on time, and removed the existing deck. Next step was to add supports and frame out the new section of the deck, and reposition the stairs from NE to SE corner; TNT also added some missing braces to the previous deck framing. Finally, new decking, stairs, and railings were installed, along with a lattice skirt to enclose underside of deck. <br /> We found Brian and the crew easy to work with, and they stayed on task over the 3 weeks needed to complete the job. The end result is an excellent-looking deck, and the Trex composite is far better than what had been installed. Railings look great. <br /> Our only suggestion is that TNT be a bit more pro-active in recommending finishing elements. We now wish they had talked us out of the white vinyl lattice we had selected -- we didn't care for the 'look' once installed, and we had it removed & replaced with cedar in the spring. It was our choice, but am guessing lots of other clients were also not happy with the results. But all in all, TNT did a great job, and we'd use them again for sure. <br />

Brian and his crew were curteous, prompt, and neat.  The permit took longer than usual but Brian kept me informed.  Once the permit was granted he and his crew worked diligently to finish the project including working in rain, sleet, snow, and cold blustery days.  His price was on the high side but the workmanship is built to last. He and his crew wrapped all exposed wood and it looks very clean and finished.  He also suggested a rail system that was a little bit higher in price but is well worth the added money for the look it gives the deck.  I will have many years of maintenance free use of my beautiful new deck.  I would call him for any other projects and would recommend him for any inside or outside work. <br />

Great work on a tough job. Good price. This is the second project that we've hired Brian to complete. Last time he replaced our deck and this time he replaced some windows for us. We replaced 2 small windows and 2 large picture windows. We had a special request to enlarge the opening of one window to have both front windows be the same size. We knew it would involve some brick work but we had no idea how complicated it would be. Brian's team removed the front layer of brick to access the steel beam only to find that it was embedded in a second layer of brick instead the usual 2x4's. Long story short, it was a huge challenge to get the beam out and put the new beam 10 inches higher. They put a temp wall inside to support the 2nd floor while the new beam was set in place. In the end, we have beautiful new windows, both inside and out. We are very happy with TNT Builders and will be calling them back for future projects. <br />

It took a while to get started, but the deck Brian built is beautiful. Brian had good advice about the deck and worked with us on the final design. The construction is excellent with tight joints and straight lines. We will definitely hire Brian again for future work. <br />

<p>We found Brian (TNT Builders) on Angies list.  He came highly recommended, and </p> now we know why.  He was very curteous on the phone at first contact, and truly seemed excited about his business and doing a project for my wonderful parents (in-laws).  He was honest about pricing and scheduling and went above and beyond to help design the deck to specific, often challenging specifications.  He worked very well with the village of Grayslake inspectors and made the process very easy for our parents (whom live in a retirement community) to obtain other approvals.  He's creative and also manages his business partnerships well as he did with a plumber (whom needed to move an outdoor water spicket to make room for the deck).    Brian was very honest and open about the different material options for the deck - some were more expensive that others.  In addition, he made several special trips to visit so we could pick the right colors and materials.  While doing the project, he was very careful to explain to us exactly what he was doing and why.  The deck was completed on schedule and is of the highest quality, including a very special built in set of steps that looks like it truly belongs in the design.  This deck looks fantastic, so much better than anticipated !!   Most importantly, Brian treats his employees with the utmost respect, it was very obvious they enjoy working together.  He is a smart businessman and an excellent craftsman.  We recommend him highly and will most certainly use his company for future projects.   We very much appreciate Angie's List for helping us find Brian (TNT Builders) ! <br />
