Todaro's Landscape

Todaro Landscaping went above and beyond to ensure our job was done correctly. The crew was respectful and moved plants so they wouldn't be damaged. They kept the work site and surrounding area clean. Finished product is better than we could of ever expected.

Good. Returned call same day and out to the house as scheduled. Due to busy fall schedule it took a couple weeks to get plan which I knew in advance. Only reason I gave B instead of A for quality was that they don’t use a software program and draw it out instead. Not a big deal and will contact them in Spring to get cost of landscaping.

The did a fabulous job. Were professional and virtuous. Were able to answer all my questions. And deal with design changes during construction over a four day period.

I hired Todaro Landscaping to replace a 11' X 11' patio, a walkway and a set of 10' wide graduated front steps leading to my front porch. A few hours after starting, I noticed that the new steps they were installing were less than six feet wide. When I pointed out to the workers that the steps were wrong, they argued with me that I didn't "need" steps as wide as the original. He acted frustrated, as if it would be too much trouble to make them their original width because he was almost done with them already. After a lengthy talk about it he finally agreed to add some width. So I now have nine foot wide steps and residue on either side where the original steps had extended. Later, I checked on them again and they were substantially finished with the patio. I knew immediately it was a lot smaller than my original patio. When I pointed it out, they acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. Since I didn't know exactly where my original patio invoice was located I couldn't actually prove that I was right. They agreed to add a couple of rows of pavers on one side, making the patio about 9.5' wide. The next day when we put out our original patio furniture it wouldn't all fit in the new space. I found my original invoice and knew the furniture didn't fit because the original patio was bigger. I called Mr Todaro and explained the problem and he promised they would "make it right". He said they were still in my area and would fix it the following week. I called him every week for six weeks. He finally stopped by to see what needed to be done. I told him if he would at least add a foot to one side, I'd be able to fit the chair that goes with my loveseat. He said it wouldn't take more than about an hour because there was plenty of paver base extending beyond the new patio. ( I refrained from pointing out that the extended paver base he talked about was from the original patio and it extended because he had installed a smaller patio.) He promised they'd be out the following week. It's been two months and I've never heard from him again. I realized that he had no intention of "making it right" so I finally hired another company to extend the patio to it's original size. Although the work Todaro did was quality work, I don't think it's worth all the aggravation of having to watch them every single minute to make sure you get what you paid for.

Joe and his team did a great job. They kept good communication, they worked hard to get the job done quickly. The finished patio turned out awesome!! Another nice thing about Todaro's is they were very flexible to our design changes. One week before the project started my wife and I decided to move the location of the new patio and change a lot of features and everything went very smoothly. Todaro's pricing was also fair and competitive. I would definitely recommend Todaro's Landscaping to anyone looking to get brick pavers done!

We told him that we weren't ready to complete the deck  project at the time and that may be why he took so long to respond with a completed "plan". The plan was certainly less professional and accurate than what my husband and I could have done ourselves.  He included an estimate for our deck (about $8,500 for a two level deck - one just 7" above the other to accommodate the difference in height of the floors in our home.  The proposed deck would be about 10x15.) He offered to quote us separately for his landscaping suggestions. <br /> I had hoped that he would give us a ball park estimate at least for different deck material as he knew we were on the fence about which type we would go with, but he didn't. <br /> The service wasn't AWFUL, it was just mediocre. He might be a great guy for pavers, but I would recommend him for deck or landscaping work. <br />

We originally had Joe come on site to give us an estimate for a brick walkway and landscaping.  The special through Angie's list seemed like a good deal for landscape drawings.  The drawing came, and looked professional.  We decided to move forward with the brick walkway alone, as we're on a tight budget.  We had a tough time at first getting a hold of Joe (I think he got a lot of business through Angie's list).  When we finally worked out a time frame for the project the job went pretty quick.  They did a fantastic job with the work, and cleaned up very well.  Joe recommended that we cap the front porch in pavers so we included that.  It looks fantastic, and seems very sturdy.  I would definitely recommend Todaro's Landscaping. <br />

Joe was very professional.  It was a busy time of the year and rain delayed the project a bit, but he was willing to answer calls and discuss tentative dates.  The patio is beautiful and his crew cleaned up nicely.  I would highly recmommend him, as his price point was much better than competitors. <br />

Joe and his crew showed up when expected. They completed the project in 2 days. Joe payed close attention to my ideas and that was reflected in the final result. He had additional ideas to improve upon my original concept that made the patio even better. They crew cleaned my property after they were finished. Overall, a great experience that I would recommend to others.
