Tom Drexler redid several things for us from plumbing to HVAC. We are on a maintenance plan which includes annual check ups for free and discounts off of any service that you need. today's visit was an annual plumbing related inspection. They found a couple legitimate issues that had gone unnoticed. We are scheduling to get those fixed. I like that they send emails with a very detailed explanation of everything they reviewed and pictures to go along with that. They also do that with their semi annual Hvac inspections. I always feel safe with any person that they sent to the house.

The installation today by Cory could not have gone better. He called before arrival, gave me a fair estimate before starting work, completed the work in no time flat (less than 2 hours) and was a complete pleasure to work with. Very knowledgeable electrician who I easily conferred with about other electrical issues and I would gladly work with Cory in the future. Highly recommended!

I have used Tom Drexler multiple times. Their plumbers are always competent and the customer service is top notch. My recent project had to be rescheduled twice (due to delays with a contracter) and then the plumbing repair that was needed turned out to be a larger project than originally expected, but it was no problem. Every time I have used Tom Drexler they have completed the job properly the first time. They are competent, easy to work with, and most importantly, they have integrity!

Attic or Whole House Fan - Repair
Terrible company that doesn't care about its customers and doesn't understand how skilled labor should be charged to the customer. On my AC unit I had a $22 Capacitor replaced, and a $30 Hot Start added to my unit, it took him not more than 20min and that was with him talking my ear off about my life and family. I could give you 5 guesses on the charge they put on my card... whatever your thinking go ahead and double it, and then double it again. They charged me $1,142.07 for that work. Predatory pricing for a warm fall day. They refused to give my a breakdown of parts vs labor cost. They pressured me for a membership. They were unresponsive to my complaints after giving them ample opportunities to make it right. I truly dont know how anyone at that company sleeps at night charging those prices.

Worst experience I have ever had!!!!! I was talked into replacing all of my copper pipes with PEX. I was approved and signed up for a year of financing for the work. On the day of service, not only did they steal my copper and say it was "A part of the cleanup". They charged me $3500 and overdrawn my account. I called to get it fixed and was told that they would give me a refund. It's been five days, and I still haven't received it. I called today, and they told me it would be another 3-5 business days. That will be 2 weeks they have taken $3500 from me. I am unable to pay for food, bills, or gas. And all they had to say was, "I am sorry it was an error in the processing system". That is not acceptable.

Had plumbing issues at our house in Louisville, KY a few weeks ago. An agent came, did a few things and said he 'fixed' the issue. While fixing the issue, he looked overwhelmed and not happy that the company cameraman wasn't available to help. I paid him $400 and he left promising us the problem was fixed. The problem was back and we had to call him again. He was still complaining of his day not going well. He finally got a cameraman who examined everything and gave us a quote of $10,500 saying the entire pipe needs to be changed. We called another company for a second opinion. He came and fixed the problem for good for only $350! He said there were a lot of things clogged in the pipe which he removed. He said the pipe is good for another 10-20 years! Why would we get a quote for $10,500 when the problem could be fixed for $350? We were told replacing the pipe was the only option for a permanent fix. Extremely frustrated.

Plumbing for a Remodel or Addition - Install
Hired Tom Drexler for a new furnace install. Paid $11,000 for a Trane unit. Sales process was high-pressure. Later found out my existing 5-year-old furnace had an active 10-year manufacturer warranty on the heat exchanger. This critical warranty data was never disclosed to me. Furthermore, the technicians hauled away and disposed of my original equipment without my consent, making it impossible to independently verify their failure diagnosis. Avoid due to deceptive practices and lack of disclosure.

Water Heater - Repair or Service
The plumber arrived and spent 6 hours trouble shooting water heater problem on newly constructed home. He was good and identified problems and took action to correct, but could not fix water heater issue. He discovered there was not enough power, so he could not charge for his efforts as he did not fix it. He offered a $16 and some change monthly service plan to help with costs and I agreed, but he genuinely tried his best including replacing two heating elements. His company brought two electricians who were here for 1 hour and charged over $300 to report there was a break in the wire and did not repair. Next day the builder of the house brought his electrician for 30 minutes, made repairs finding 3 wires leading from breaker box, but only 2 leading to water heater. He diagnosed a junction box somewhere was embeded that the 3rd wire went to. The two remaining wires had been accidently crossed and were wired wrong to the water heater. He corrected that and was done in 30 minutes.

Gas Piping
The job was to run a gas line for a stove while I was out of town. They had told me the job would be done on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Friday I get a call that the drawers to the stove are on the floor and the piping is just hanging there. So I call them...apparently they didn't have the right part and the installer was off for the next 2 days - so would be there on Sunday to finish the job - which by itself isn't terrible; however, they didn't tell me that they'd shutoff all the gas to the house - meaning no hot water and no heat in the house. When I asked them to send someone out immediately to finish the job they said that they couldn't do that...meaning that Sunday would be the earliest. They did call me back later to let me know they would get someone out on Saturday to finish the work. Then, they called me back on Saturday morning to let me know that only Chris could finish this job and so I'd have to wait until Sunday - meaning no heat or hot water when I get home.
