Tom Fite Construction

Not as well as I hoped. This is my second metal patio cover. The previous cover was done by another contractor whose professionalism and quality were stellar. Tom's was less so by contrast. The bid did not specify what was to be done with the excavated footing soil. As such I was left to dispose of soil. My bad, I should have addressed it. However, I cannot help but feel a professional company would have brought up my lack of foresight. Tom's company seems to sell the job out to an installer. This created a communication issue between the 3 of us. The installer was also hurried. Workmanship could also have been better, especially compared to my other cover. I'm not talking about materials. Specifically, cuts, measurements, and installation techniques.

I called several other patio cover companies who told me they were backed up 2-3 months. I needed this done right away, and since I had a good experience with them before, I went with Tom Fite's company. Got a very quick estimate (within a week) and they were able to start work within 3 weeks. Took exactly the 3 days they told me it would take, they cleaned up after themselves daily, and left it in pristine condition. Very happy with the whole process. <br />

They installed a aluminum patio cover. They did the installation and it took them 2 days. A crew of the installer, his assistant and Tom, the supervisor, were there. Tom met with me a couple of times to talk about the installation and we also corresponded through email with some special engineering questions I had in regards to the codes and the design. He was very competitive on prices and he was very informative and knowledgeable. He also offered a special attachment design to the roof. I wished Angie’s list would let me give him an A+.

We are extremely pleased with all work.  The team was professional, friendly, and very polite.  Mr. Fite was very knowledgeable and personable.  We would work with him and his team members again, and recommend his company with no reservations.

I have nothing but good things to say about them. The workmanship and craftsmanship were exquisite. They were on time and on budget. I would recommend them to anyone. They are the first company you should consider if you are going to replace a patio cover. They did a superb job. I am crazy about these guys. They were very professional.

Tom Fite Construction came to our home two different times to discuss options for replacing our patio. <br /> Their pricing was fair. The timeline was set for construction and was followed as proposed. We were very happy with the finished product and would use them again. <br />

Delayed start one day but notified me promptly with no problems. Installed as promised per bid, in one day vs. the two days estimated. Cleaned up after installation, no damage to plants, no trash left on site. Overall, very pleased with this project and it is the perfect addition to my yard redo.
